Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. “We were greeted with a warm welcome and our coats were taken and put into a safe place. We were shown to the bar where we stood alone for the whole duration of our stay whilst everyone else sat. We were given a house gin and tonic and just left standing even when finished. I had to ask a member of staff what the process was for our experience was it over? Was there more? Where should we go? She seemed to be oblivious to my questions and walked off! We then asked the barman who gave us some taster gins and served us our chosen one. BOOM!!! End of our gin experience. In all fairness the barman was quite pleasant but I have never felt so uncomfortable but as this was a birthday gift from my son I did not wish to embarrass him by making a complaint.”

“Absolutley fantastic experience, from the beautiful hotel we stayed in to the luxurious afternoon tea followed by the lion king in covent garden. Cannot fault this at all, so easy to book everything and it just felt so seamless. This was a 40th birthday present to myself and it was such a great experience i am buying the exact same gift for my mums 70th. Lets hope she takes me!”

“This was my first time on a driving experience day and I loved every second of it. Yes the weather could of been better but driving those amazing cars soon warmed me up. The pro’s gave good instructions and helped me push the cars a bit and maximized the experience. I’ll definitely be going back again as I have my eye on a few more cars I’d like to get behind the wheel of. My wife joined me for some hot laps and we were both grinning from ear to ear”

“The service and the place. You need to remove your name from advertising at this restaurant. In fact someone needs to go in and train the staff on how to deal with customers. It’s the worst experience you could sell. I’m fact not an experience at all. It ruined our day! None of the staff care about their customers!!”

“We weren't sure what to expect being J10 of the M4 but we were very pleasantly surprised. Provided you have no plans to walk the forest or visit the local sights you will not be disappointed. Stay put. Relax. Swim. Steam. Sauna. Soak. Sip. Happy Daze.”

“The most fantastic spa day with my friend at the Oxfordshire. All the girls were welcoming and accommodating. Really good day. Treatments were really really good and the food was also really scrummy. Will be rebooking again very soon.”

“The boat Trip began really well, until the driver drove the speed boat head first into a 9ft metal structure in the middle of the Thames. A number of passengers were injured and all on board were shaken up by the crash, however the driver nor the other crew member came to the passenger area to explain what had happened or to ask if everybody was okay. We then docked the boat at a nearby pier and had to give statements to the police and wait around for the police to carry out their investigation. Although we understand this was necessary, we were severely delayed as a result and were unable to carry out many of the plans we had made for the afternoon.”

“I’d never been to a musical in theWest End. It was great so we’ll be going again. Forget the fact that this is not brand new and embrace the reality that this is quality entertainment, memorable songs, slick dance routines, a feel good story and considering this is live entertainment it was over two hours of good value. I’m driving my partner mad with my whistling renditions of the show’s songs!”

“Very very Lacking after sales service only 2 videos out of 5 no sound on the 2 ,had to go back for CD for photos . No cash refund when paid cash on day for videos now have to wait . Spoilt the whole day”

“We really enjoyed the Vintage Afternoon Tea Bus Tour. The route took in many interesting London sights and the inside of the bus is comfortable and attractive. The afternoon tea was delicious and the staff were welcoming and friendly.”
