Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. By teaming up, we are able to challenge the way every experience is provided and offer once-in-a-lifetime gifts backed up by friendly service staff with first-hand knowledge.

“I enjoyed a spa day with my friend yesterday and had such an amazing time! The spa is warm and luxurious, and smells amazing. The steam room and Jacuzzi are both of the highest quality, but the highlight was the full body massage. The best I have ever had! The staff in the spa are extremely attentive and the consultation card at the beginning ensures things are exactly as you like. The afternoon tea let the experience down abit but overall I can not wait to go back. Recommended to all!”

“The idea is a great one, however it makes me a little sad to think my very old Mother spent £99 of her hard earned cash to buy me and my Girlfriend a Virgin Couples Voucher which when redeemed (A Helicopter Flight) we noticed was only £70 on the Helicopter Companies OWN website without any discounts and with a Groupon voucher it was only £65. Book direct or loose 30% of your cash the moment your loved one books!”

Hi, we are sorry to hear that you weren't happy with the pricing of your experience. Whilst lots of our experiences are sold at discounted rates, we unfortunately cannot price match any discounts or promotions the suppliers choose to advertise directly. We appreciate that in this instance it may have been cheaper to purchase directly with the supplier or through a third party, so we are very sorry that you feel we couldn't offer you the best deal this time!

“The experience I attended was horrendous. When I reported the issues to Virgin all they could do was quote small print and terms and conditions. Their profits are clearly more important than providing adequate customer service. I would never use them again.”

“It was such a special day. An exquisite location. Informative - I learnt so much and so warm and friendly. No question was left unanswered. We were taught a great deal and the dishes produced were fresh, seasonal and practical. Mark, the tutor/ chef was brilliant and made everybody feel so at home. A lovely experience. It is a long time since I enjoyed something so much - I left wanting to do it all again tomorrow!”

“My Virgin Experience was The View from The Shard with a Three Course Meal for Two at Marco Pierre White's London Steakhouse Co. The Shard was amazing and well worth the visit. You would never know, from down below on terra firma, that the skydeck is open to the elements; it all adds to the excitement. However, with it being a freezingly cold December day we just had to have a cup of mulled wine to warm us up. The Steakhouse meal was great too, well worth the experience.”

“very disappointed ordered a gift experience for a birthday present paid for a Saturday delivery waited in all day and it never arrived phoned customer service to track the parcel and was told it was never sent out by this time it was too late to get another present”

“We had an Innkeeper's Lodge overnight stay at The Hedgehog, Lichfield, Staffordshire. The hotel was beautiful, an old Manor House. It has been tastefully re-furbished with many original features remaining. Comfortable guest room with a lovely shower room. Good selection of delicious food on offer in the restaurant. We woke up to 5 inches of snow and the only staff there was Reid, who stayed there overnight. He did a wonderful job with breakfast until more staff could get in. He also shovelled snow in the car park to help guests get their cars out. A wonderful get away!”
