Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. “The whole experience was trouble free. Very efficient and we thoroughly enjoyed our special afternoon tea.”

“Spa facilities very good, however the hotel, the staff and the cleanliness was very poor, dirty carpets and furnishings, holes in plasterwork, lounge ceiling hanging down due to leak, breakfast buffet was non-existent, when we asked staff to replenish the only thing that was replenished was the orange juice and even then no glasses ! , the bedrooms were not made up and towels replaced until 4pm after the first nights stay, cobwebs on staircase. a very disappointing stay that cost £750! disgusted”

“I received a gin tasting experience...and then I fell pregnant! An excellent aspect of this programme is that you're able to swap the voucher and so I upgraded to a spa stay, which was ideal after several months of sickness, new weird aches and stress. There is a lot of choose from and the prices seem fairly competitive. My stay at Downhall is Essex was lovely, great venue and massage - although it really needs to be longer than 30 minutes. I would definitely look into buying something for friends and family in future.”

Hi, we are sorry to hear that you weren't happy with the pricing of your experience. Whilst lots of our experiences are sold at discounted rates, we unfortunately cannot price match any discounts or promotions the suppliers choose to advertise directly. We appreciate that in this instance it may have been cheaper to purchase directly with the supplier, so we are very sorry that you feel we couldn't offer you the best deal this time!
