Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.

Had a spa day with 2 treatments and afternoon tea for 2 at a Hilton hotel bought as a birthday present for myself. Chose to go to the Cobham Hilton the woman who did our treatments was absolutely fabulous very professional informative and made you feel relaxed and at ease. It's a shame the hotel itself was a let down! Firstly they never offered robes for the spa just towels we was charged extra to use the spa facilities only after paying and entering spa the sauna was out of use! The swimming pool tiny and a awful steam room...there was one lounger in the spa area and 3 plastic chairs not at all relaxing, the changing room was crazily tiny......went in the Mediterranean grill for afternoon tea we was the only table in there the sandwiches awful and the fillings were different to what they said. The scones were stale and had been heated up to try and hide this but it made them rubbery. And the manager was just plain rude!.....my first spa experience ruined by the hotel!

I had a voucher for afternoon tea for 2 at the Michelin-Starred Afternoon Tea with Cava for Two at COMO The Halkin 5* Hotel CODE: PHCOCT It was my sister's birthday treat and my daughter had bought me the voucher. The food was lovely BUT we felt like we were sitting in a group of business meetings as the setting was awful. It did not match what I had expected at all. The ambiance is part of the experience and ours was awful - with loud business meetings taking place at low coffee tables by the door all around us. Also,I had not been sent a voucher so I had hassel with that initially too. I definitely would rate the food but as a nice cosy experience I would rate it with a 1/10! An awful setting for afternoon tea. IHad I know it was going to be where it was I never would have taken my sister there!!!

Pretty uninspiring to be honest. I wouldn't call a 2014 wine "vintage" but perhaps that's my opinion. The wines were ok, one of the reds was lovely but the environment wasn't great. Tables for 4 and we were a 2 so we got sat with two strangers which led to a very awkward few minutes of small talk. They were a lovely couple but would have been nice to know what to expect. They tried to sell us wines at silly prices! We were sat at the back, couldn't hear the lady talking. Not worth the money

As written in review just did, it was like a comedy sketch show. Tiny amounts of wine and cheese in a peach coloured hotel basement... Give it a miss unless you'd like the comedic value.

The cruise was advertised as 1 hour 45 minutes, but sailing time lasted less than an hour, and 15 minutes of that was treading water at the end. Also, one of the staff members was very rude to us. Quite embarrassing for us really.

I bought 2 of these vouchers and so we were a party of 4. There were limitations on when we could book, essentially making it impossible to plan the dinner in advance for a Friday or Saturday night, they only released these 2 or so days before. This is impossible when coordinating with a group of 4 adults needing to book babysitters in advance. So we went on a Sunday :( The cocktails were nice, the meal was good but the drinks and sides were expensive, so we ended up spending as much money as if we booked via the normal route. A bit of a hoax to fill their tables and do a roaring trade sun-thurs.

Complicated procedure to validate vouchers. Had Cafe Rouge meal for two - over-priced, oor value. Limited choice of food, supposed to have glass of Prosecco, but was sweetest Prosecco I ever tasted - not pleasant.

Long Marston lost the recording of Ferarri 360 Driving Experience. Only half of Lamborghini driving experience was recorded- approx 3 mins and no speedometer working on the video so we dont know the speed of the experience... Person 2: Not been given a disc of any images taken of him experiecing the Nissan GTR or the Audi R8. Wasn't even offered by instructor to have recorded his GTR Experience so only his Audi R8 Driving Experience was recorded which is approx 7 mins long

This is advertised as a photography event but this is misleading. The event has nothing to do with photographysical. What a waste of time and money! !!

Bare minimum served, not the saving you are led to believe. Basic three course meal which you need to purchase sides for. Desert didn't come with cream which made it very dry. Would not recommend.

Disappointing, my wife received a Jet Rush Boat trip in London and meal at Pierre Marco Whites Steak house as a gift, but the small print restricted the boat trip to non school holidays and not on Saturdays or bank holidays - not much use for teaching staff. The restaurant couldn't be booked more than 48 hours in advance - useless for someone living in the Midlands. We paid £23 extra to go the Harry Potter Studios instead but when booking in February we discovered our chosen date in July was fully booked. Seems a bit of a scam to me! Will not use Virgin Experiences by choice.

Was given a voucher to use at Mercure hotels for my 40th birthday. We stayed at Mercure Leeds, hotel was very tired and needed updated over 10 minutes waiting to check in was told we could upgrade as hotel was full, although place apperaed empty! Tried to get a drink at the bar pressed bell 3 times before anyone came out. Tried to order a taxi to town, again no one around and i resorted in phoning the reception to get attention! Very poor customer service and value for money, i am surprised Virgin are associated with this hotel!

Poor user experience in trying to book the activity. Website not fit for purpose. Activity only takes place once a month, and you can't book more than around 6 weeks in advance so took over 5 months to find a free slot (and that was because we took a day off to use it during the week)

Booked Ripleys Believe it or not and a two course Planet Hollywood Meal. Ripleys was Ok - shame they didn't bother to mention that there was an audio tour and some exhibits only had numbers relating to the tour- which we realised ONCE we were inside. No mention on the website that you will have a severe lack of options for food: a burger, two salads or two pastas - not a big choice. The desert was either cheese cake OR ice cream - I had to kick up a bit of a stink as I cannot eat dairy and got offered sorbet. To be honest- it's just not worth the money for the hassle involved.
