I've been with vodafone 2y after my contract came to an end I called them to discuss my options I was transferred to different departments no one could help me I have decided to cancel my contract and the story will follow. started online chat told them that I wish to cancel my contract and if they can provide me with a PAC code again transferred between department than I was told to call 03333040117. I called that number some answered the phone I was transferred 3 or 4 times and each time I had to tell them my details at the end they hung up the phone on me. this is vodafone

What went wrong . What a joke. Avoid vodafone like the plague.When you can actually get through to an operator you can't understand them. You have to ask them again and again. You get passed around from pillar to post, in the mean time spending at least an hour of your life you won't get back. Being put through to various departments and asked to go in store. AND then being told you were mis informed !! What a joke. Take my advice and go through 02 or some other phone company provider. Stay Well clear of Vodafone. Unproffesional. Still waiting over a week for customer care to call back.

Been with Vodafone for ten years plus. Each time I renew my contract they offer the world when you agree to the new contract that's when it starts. This time I recorded everything when I phone to explain the new contract was not the one i opted for. The lady who I couldn't understand said basically I was lying. I've been messed about lied to and ripped off. I've paid for my cancellation and am going to go with another provider tomorrow. My brother is a barrister and has listened to my recordings. He simply smiled and said make an appointment with an ombudsman which I have done. Seeing him 10.15 in the morning. Vodafone we will soon see who's lying. My honest advise to anyone about to join or are not happy with there service simply look at the reviews and go elsewhere. Ps nearly all other providers are cheaper and do honest decent deals. See you in court Vodafone

Been with Vodafone about 12yrs I upgraded 3 handsets 2wks ago 2 turned up within 3days great with no problems called them to find out where the 3rd handset was and was told it hadn't been ordered because that handset and tariff didn't exist so they honoured what I was promised to so thought great all sorted but no 3 days later found that the ordered had benn cancelled again this time because the handset had been discontinued so complained and ordered another handset and they would knock off the up front cost to only find out tonight that they've cancelled this order because this promotion has finished even though the day before they confirmed the order was on its way they are liars the lot of them and they won't let me cancel my contract till the 3rd phone arrives

Vodafone!!!!!! After almost 20yrs loyalty I have never been so disgusted with anyone I've dealt with than Vodafone. Having been with them for nearly 20yrs what a shower of ##it they have turned into. They obviously no longer want to be a mobile provider anymore. Recently upgraded my phone and contract to a deal too good to be true. Got told a delivery date, didn't arrive, contacted them, will be there the next day sir. NO!!!!!! Re contacted them and told it won't be delivered until the following day even when I had spoken to advisers previsous to assure delivery dates. No one sings from the same hymn sheets. Phone finally arrives but no accessories as ordered. Further calls made as to where it was and was told they didn't offer accessories even though told a case was being sent at time of ordering. Advisors spoken too one said That my order wouldn't turn up until a week and a bit later and other stating that order didn't exsist. Complaints contacted and was spoken too by a limited English speaking male who after explaining what my complaint was began heckling and sniggering at me.As well as explaining my issues with him he did not respond to my concerns forcing me to repeat several times hello !!!! So I could get a response. It was as if he had taken his headphones off so not to listen to my gripes and then return once he thought I had finished. I asked to speak to managers or supervisiors due to the insolence shown by advisors but was told by several advisors that they were not allowed to come to the phone or unable to request a call back. Managers being paid good money for nothing by the sounds of things. Would not be possible to pass these supervising ranks in my profession. I have never complained about anything in my lifetime, possibly stupidly sucking things up but on this occasion I couldn't swallow. Vodafone I think your time has been and gone, EE I think you may be the 21st century company to be with.

Vodafone have been overcharging my son and have promised to return the money, they are liars and thieves, their CEO promised to fix the company after OFCOM fined them, he's a liar and a thief.

If I could give no star believe me I would. Unreliable company poor services and poor customer service on top of that. Not one english person I have been able to speak to since filing complaint I find it funny how they are always on sales. Money grabbing bunch of scams. Next step ombudsman!!

Has proven near impossible to cancel a contract with this joke of a company. I have spent 12 plus hours on the phone with numerous advisors who have all refused to cancel the contract. I stopped paying the direct debit as I refuse to give them any more money after clearly staying my desire to end the contract. A few months down the line and they phone up stating that I now have a debt to them which must be paid. 8 explained that I have repeatedly told them I no lonmger want the contract and they still insist I must pay them money for the pay few months where the contract has not been used. The woman on the phone then claims that this debt will affect my credit rating and they will take me to court over it. An absolute joke since there will be numerous records (since they record all of their calls) of me trying to cancel this contract. If they do take me to court I will not let them get away with this disgusting, scamming behaviour. They are a ridiculous company who don't know the meaning of customer service and certainly aren't worth the stress, stay well clear of them.

As most seem to experience - the call centre people tell you everything will be sorted out and then nothing happens. My number switch was supposed to have been sorted by the 11th, so I phoned on the 13th and after a 45 min discussion was ensured it would be sorted out by the 17th (not sure why it would take 4 days), on the 17th nothing had changed so just before midnight(to give them the whole day) I engaged via Limechat once more with another person who told me it would be sorted within hours. Guess what, on the 18th nothing had changed so I phoned up, was told things I knew to be wrong, got passed to 5 different people and they assured me it would be sorted by Monday. None of them have a clue and there should be Senior Management liability here i.e. someone should be going to jail based on the number of complaints I see. The service is utterly useless and unprofessional. The trouble is we all need/want phones so we need better regulation with heads on the line to sort this laughable pretence of a service out.

Vodafone Reading are the most useless ,time wasting ,overcharging ,horrendous , haven't got a clue type of people I have ever had the unlucky misfortune of meeting in my life. They harass you and tried to scam you all the time !! Charging you for items they have never given you like hundreds for iPhones ??They don't let you upgrade as apparently they don't have a program on their computers to do so, however they will make you wait there for hours for no apparent reason. They will tell you to come in upgrade today waste your petrol pay for parking to do it especially ,then inform you after a long stretch sat waiting that they don't have the programs to do so. I hate this place and these people. To make matters worse I did not end up leaving here with a phone as they told me they couldn't do it but they have charged me for one when I wasn't even there amazing how I can sign for a phone in store when I was in river island they have also signed me on to a £100 a month 2gb contract no phone included when I wasn't even there they have just stolen my details to do so as they are thieving little *****

They charge a shocking 55p per photo text and also charge extra if your text is too long Added £1 to monthly bill after contract ran without informing me or attempting to renew my contract - really poor!

Some one save me company ripping me off. Wait for hours on phone web chats for hours but every time charging me hundreds of pounds. I this was bigges mistake of my life going to Vodafone spending days on telephone on hold. Every time I ring all they say is 'Sorry'.

i ordered a samsung galaxy s6 in gold they sent black . my son in law put a password on is acct for me so i could transfere the fone over to me on contract they wasnt having any of it , i also asked for labels to send the fone back still not having any of it ,, is there any wonder this company is having problems the staff need to be trained properly always conflicting advice from them the right hand dosent know what the left hand is doing stay away headache after headache ill be sending the fone back

Over 9 months I tried to cancel a contract that Vodafone refused to cancel. Poor customer service ended in a lengthy coma into. In the mean time Vodafone blacklisted.me myou credit listing in the middle of my mortgage application and refused to correct even after admitting fault.

You sent a message to my phone advising a discount was going to end. I spent 1 hour 45 min on the phone and got transferred from billing to 30day cancellation to be told she couldn't help to put me back to billing to be put back to cancellation to upgrades 4 times and then after a number of times of asking to speak with a manger all I got was transferred to different departments and you wonder why you recived shocking customer service amount in fines it's not supprising the service is shocking

Got my son a contract phone last year and the battery was faulty which made the screen swell and crack wen we sent it back to get it repaired they said it was not covered for that problem so we had to pay hundreds of pounds for a phone that we could not use then wen the contract was finished we rang them to tell them we did not want to keep it going and they said we should have rang them the month before so we ended up paying 25 months instead of 24 they don't tell people this wen there purchasing a phone so people beware of this wat an absolute disgrace use r Vodafone

Complete and utter waste of space. 6 month I have been trying to get a complaint resolved and I ring up today to be told there is no complaint on my account. My credit rating is wrecked off them. I have been charged double for my bill and I can't get anywhere with their customer service department. DO NOT GO WITH THEM

No words to describe the absolute worst customer service I think I have ever received! Every agent tell you something different, nobody seems to know what there talking about and after 4 hours of phone calls I am still being told contradicting information....DO NOT TAKE A CONTACT WITH THESE COWBOYS

I've reviewed elsewhere on this company. I have foolishly taken out another contract with them. I've been stung before with no phone signal for weeks, contract dates extended, 'mistaken' added fees on the bills. Oh, and the worst customer service of all time. This time, I was quoted for a plan upgrade, later the price changes. You cannot speak to the same person from the day before. It's near impossible to get them to document anything that was said on any previous contact. Lies, deception and, oh, don't start me on VEA.....Vodafone's discounts for certain companies. No I won't even go there. Suffice to say this company is the worst I have EVER dealt with. As a man in his 40s who has only ever posted 2 reviews on things in all his life, I cannot advise any stronger to avoid at all costs!
