“I am using Volumio for many years and I am really happy with it. I use it on three devices (Raspberry Pi 4 with Hifiberry DAC connected to amplifier and the Pi connected to LAN cable). With Volumio I listen to Spotify premium, Internet radio stations and my own music library from a Synology NAS. Volumio works perfectly for me, and I like the really nice browser-based user interface. Setup is easy. You just have to flash the SD card, power it up, open the user interface in a browser and do some basic configuration like selecting the DAC. Spotify setup is easy, too. You just install the plug-ins for Spotify and Spotify Connect and enter the account details. Spotify is actively maintained with frequent software updates. This is a big advantage compared to buying a Internet receiver box from some audio manufacturer where you rarely get updates after some years.”

“If there were a 6 star rating, that's what I would give Volumio. When I made a Pi4 streamer using a PI2AES, I tried many different softwares; including Moode and Ropiee. Moode was good, Ropieee is good, as were some others. They all have excellent sound, but Volumio just works better for me. It has a much better user interface, it has all the features you need and none you don't, but most importantly, it just works. I no longer have to spend 15 minutes fighting my software before I can listen. I just open Audirvana Studio, select Volumio and enjoy the music. For those wondering if My Volumio is with the money-It Is, if for no other reason than having effortless access to Qobuz. Thank you Volumio!”

“II run Volumio on a VIM 3L SBC with a Khadas Tone Board together with a NAS drive on the network. The response speed is excellent and the sound is fanstastic. There are no problems with the controls even with the Spotify plugin. Control is via an ipad, either via the ip address or via the Volumio app. It´s Fun!”

“Volumio is now performing as a great companion for my networked music. Since applying a dac to my Pi the added sound improvement has made me decide to join the Virtuoso plan to add Tidal. “Hello, as a 64 y old guy the setup of the Volumio Primo went without any problem. The short and also the in depth documentation ist very useful and clear. The audio quality connected to the Rega Brio Amp and Vienna Acoustics Speakers is excellent. I ripped my CD's and to select all of the Albums in the browser is very nice. What would be an enhancment? An on/off Switch despite the fact i shut down the Volumio software. To start the Primo i have to disconnect the power an again to connect.”

“I use volumio for the speakers in the garden. So I can enjoy my favorite station from my last vacation with Internet Radio. I'm using a Raspberry Pi zero w with a DAC module and amplifier. As a Raspberry Pi user, it was no problem for me to install and configure volumio. Have fun everyone else.”

“The ease of installation on my Raspberry Pi and the ease of use on laptop or app. My hdd takes a while to load into Volumio but when finished it’s easy. Spotify connect works very good.”
