“I like this project as it integrates easy with Home Assistant. However, I have an issue with the touch screen feature. No matter how many times I try to get this to work by uninstall and reinstall. I always get an error. Xserver won't start or a certain file is not found or kiosk won't start. Because of this I had to abandon until this gets resolved or I stumble across a solution.”

“picoreplayer works alot better it requires some setup but volumio is just ass. Stopped using it years ago and now they are spamming my email to leave a review”

“Versions from 3.77 and up won't run for me, as it says I can access volumio by http://127.0.0.1 or volumio.local, but I can't . The ip address is not on my local network, the other option does not work. I had to go back to a version from 2020 so I could get volumio running fine”

“I have been using Volumio for something like 8 years and it works great for me. It is installed on a Raspberry PI 3 attached via USB to and external high end dac and it streams perfectly my music collection from a Synology Nas.”

“I stepped over from BluOS nad to Volumio. BluOS plays radio as long as you want it. Volumio doesn’t. Radio isn’t made for Volumio, so I bought a Sonos for that. I’m happy. I use Qobuz and Apple Music for streaming. Also from a synology nas. From the synology it’s horrible to get it working. Mostly it doesn’t work, can’t connect to my nas. So then I use the Dlna function to play to the Volumio. That works. Sometimes it does connect to my nas, and that works good. I can easily browse via Volumio. Music via Qobuz is just good. Apple Music is sometimes difficult. Still not wanting to switch to an other platform, because that would be really expensive. Volumio on a rpi4 with a good power supply is exceptional good. Most streamers can’t compete. Since Volumio finally made direct play from Qobuz it’s just easier to play music. I love and hate it. Seen a lot of upgrades, and got better every time. The addition of CORRD was strange and expensive. It is an addition, but won’t extend my subscription to that.”

“I run Volumio on a Raspberry Pi 4 with a USB DAC built into my NAD amplifier, and the sound quality is excellent. My only frustrations are performance-related: The system takes a long time to boot before it’s ready to play music. Streaming music services take even longer to start playback.”

Pi4 and qobuz (with SAMSUNG A51), from there it goes into 2x mutec reclocker using cardas usb cable, from there in Merason DAC 1 MK2, Spectral Audio DMC 30 SV and DMA 260 amp,...by the way...would be nice to make sub playlists in playlist...for expl. Rock/Hardrock...and export playlists in csv...txt..pdf”
