I use volumio for the speakers in the garden. So I can enjoy my favorite station from my last vacation with Internet Radio. I'm using a Raspberry Pi zero w with a DAC module and amplifier. As a Raspberry Pi user, it was no problem for me to install and configure volumio. Have fun everyone else.

Great customer service

The ease of installation on my Raspberry Pi and the ease of use on laptop or app. My hdd takes a while to load into Volumio but when finished it’s easy. Spotify connect works very good.

Not impressed with how Tidal is handled. Many Tidal features are not available through Volumio. Disappointing.

Quite buggy and that's for a product that's been around for a few years. Tracks skipping randomly for no reason. Qobuz disappears completely from my menu and then comes back after a couple restarts. Unresponsiveness sometimes where nothing will happen and track picked won't start playing. This is on a pi. Wished I had gone with ropie and Roon now.

It just works. Setup was very easy and the Tidal integration is what won me over. They also did a 1 hour live presentation where I could ask any questions. Who does that nowadays!? It shows a commitment to their customers

Volumio is generally very good. I use it on a Raspberry Pi to control an Allo DigiOne HAT. I purchased the Virtuoso plan in the hopes that I could use Tidal Connect. And though some aspects work well, there is still much that Volumio needs to improve upon, such as preventing connection from dropping (I’m hooked up through Ethernet), songs in playlists often fail to start when the one before finishes (although playing an entire album seems to be ok), and tracks sometimes don’t start at the beginning. But I’m sure the Volumio team is aware of these issues and is working hard to deliver a stable, dependable update.

I like volumio, is the first platform for RPI that I feel meets all my requirements

I love Volumio and use the radio feature all the time. Spotify.com has become too commercial and repetitive. I have a huge choice of commercial free radio stations I have book marked depending on my mood. When I go mobile Volumio is great with my large cd library on my phones SD card and my trusty Raspberry PI 4!

It does lots of things very well and I am listening to so much more music. Brilliant :-) When I subscribed, I couldn't get BT to work so I had to cancel my paid subscription

This is about Volumio Primo. HDMI not working for all of my monitors! Music Library impossible for > 10000 titles on local media.Network configuration is simply said STRANGE (WIFI - LAN what needs to be restarted?) Internet access is needed sometimes for both of Android apps. Performance is too low, Tidal integration is a joke. Result - Hope somebody is as stupid as me to spend such a lot of money for nothing.

Unfortunately do not play DSD to my Pioneer N-70AE and not recognize it as MQA renderer.

Nifty piece of software for my Raspberry Pi. I used Tidal Connect with MyVolumio for a few days. The audio quality was an improvement. However, with my Dac, the IFi Zen, the LED color on the IFi Zen would not turn magenta, and hence I was not getting Mqa, as Volumio on the RPi does not do the first unfolding of Mqa (which a Windows laptop does). I did write to iFi regarding this, and they said the same thing. I hope MQA can be implemented on a paid version of Volumio in the near future. I do feel the MQA recordings sound better via a laptop and then to my Dac.

Voluimo is packed full of features with additional plugins to help customize your build. The web UI is easy to use my much the same as using a 7" touch screen. I love music and I wanted to have something with more than a normal hifi with great sound and easy to use with a raspberry pi 4.

It seems like a very nice piece of software and generally performs well. However I cannot get Qobuz to work properly. Each track plays for only 30 seconds then moves on to the next track.

My computer crasht and I have to reinstall the whole program as that I have some troubles with install the program, because it stay as not installed. So some settings are wrong. You cannot install direct as an operating systen the program and it's necessary to have a server operating system for install. So the proam or software developers have to do a better job or work on it.
