Works very well. Sometimes have to unplug my Topping DAC to make it work. Very random

Running on two Raspberry 3 B equipped with Allo Piano 2.1 DAC's. Using it for my NAS music library as well as Qobuz streaming service. With Volumio Premium also using multi-room capability. Sound is perfect, the one star missing is for the UI. It could still use some more intuitivity. Especially the multi-room function is not as easy, as it could have to be. Anyway, in total I'm happy with it, sound matters and this does sound just perfect.

Most basic stuff works good, especially Airplay. Spotify connect does not run reliably, no support for dsp / room compensation.

Volumio has become part of my everyday life. I love the project, the community and of course the music it allows me to enjoy so much.

Great product! I am using it on a raspi4 with a m2tech hiface DAC. Very easy to install. All my digital music (streamed and stored) is managed through it. Thank you volumio team. I would like to help in the development.

My volumio runs on a Rpi3 with HifiBerry and it sounds great! We connect with Apple devices and the only reason I don't give it 5 start is that I have a script monitoring connection to drop when somebody is no longer playing. When I don't do that, somebody else can't connect.

I've been using Volumio some years now. I like it since it's my local music and I have control and owns everything myself. I now have the lifetime plan but not all confident about it, it means I need to trust others servers. It's not anymore all stand alone, I can't "restart"without internet or without volumio existing. I can't even reach all functionality without Internet. But since it's just some add on's missing like interesting information I can accept it, to the reasonable price of the hardware with lifetime plan. Planning to use a couple of cheaper units around the house as multiroom points.

Volumio 2 work and sound great on Rpi 3B+ with a 480GB SSD and a "GeeekPi PCM5122 HIFI Audio DAC Expansion Board". Unfortunately the plugins I need, are missing from Volumio 3 so I have to wait...

As soon as Volumio 3 has the same Plugins available than Volumio 2, i will give a better Review. But some important Plugins are missing, for example the Autostart / Autoplay Plugin

Running fine on Raspberry4 with HifiBerry Amp2. Reliability of Spotify Connect could be better.

I'm very satisfied with the software running on my Raspberry 4

Bluetooth works for my phone and computer but not my switch. Which is what i needed it for.

Volumio 2 was great now Volumio 3 requires a login to use plugins. And a lot of the volumio 2 plugins are missing.

Sounds amazing, easy to setup and highly recommended for a DDC to a DAC

Purchased a Volumio Primo and was immediately pleased with the presentation of the packaging and the unit. I prefer a product that is designed and manufactured to perform the fuction it is intended to perform without extra bells and whisles that I consider a distraction that Introduces unnecesary complexity and Increases the probablilty for potential issues. The Primo is exactly that It was designed and built to do what it is suposed to do and to do it well. There was a very recent update to the Primo software that I wanted to update. Contated Customer and Technical support to Install the upgrade and they Immediately Informed how to download the upgrade fast, free, easy. The high caliber of customer support is at a level that all other companies should aspire to attain (well done, keep up the good work). The folks at Volumio are passionate about their product and the company. Based on my experience, they will stand behind their products and their customers.

Extremely bad experience! Buyer beware. Ordered Volumio Primo Streamer/DAC on 1/04/21 for $849.00.USD Received unit. No ON/Off switch, No power Led light. Plugged it in, waited 5 minutes for the auto set up “hot spot” nothing happened; tried numerous times, still nothing happened. The unit would NOT connect (wireless or Ethernet cable) to Modem/Router that works perfectly with all other home equipment. Contacted Technical Support (TS), they connected (remotely) to my computer, took control, connected to the Primo. It worked briefly but Volumio did not have my Kobuz account and I could not add it (although Volumio advertises it supports Kobuz). Unit stopped working. Numerous emails to (TS) and attempts did not fix the issue. TS suggested another remote session (that I would have to pay for) in addition to the $849.00 I had already spent on a non-working unit; I declined. After many more attempts of trying to get the unit working, I found out that the software the Primo came with was OUTDATED (2020 version) current version is 3+. Suspect it was the reason the unit would not automatically set up and support Kobuz. TS did not mention the obsolete software, nor did they install the current version; I had to and did install the current version. It worked briefly but now Volumio (wireless or by Ethernet cable) is not recognized by the Modem/Router and is not working. As of today 2/07/22, the Primo is dead and unusable. I finally decided to not spend any more time and money on an expensive unit that should have worked from day one without the drama. I requested to return the unit for a refund through Customer Service.. Volumio’s return policy is the customer pays freight and VAT charge for returns. Bottom line: • Ordered an expensive unit $849.00 USD. Should have been plug&play. • Unit did now work upon receipt and still doesn’t work now, over a month later. • Cannot use my entire system now. • Will have to order a new unit (that works) from a different company. • Requested a refund, NO REPLY. Buyer beware
