“Very poor service. Do not use this network if you go abroad often as you pay extra for services you don't receive.
Took 5 days before I could receive or make calls before someone from voxi sorted it.
Contacted them on Facebook and they take hours between reply and each time its a different person and I have to repeat everything to them. Think it could be ai as they all say the same stuff. Voxi is very unreliable when using abroad”
“Avoid VOXI – The Worst Customer Service Experience of My Life
If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not switch to VOXI. I have been without my UK phone number for four days due to their incompetence, leaving me unable to receive important calls from my family or banking authentication codes.
I was misled by a VOXI agent who assured me that my Vodafone SIM would be automatically overwritten with the VOXI service upon porting. That was a lie—I was left with no service at all. Multiple agents, including Michaelle, Natalie, Bhagesh, and Arif, have repeatedly promised fixes that never materialised, wasting hours of my time.
I have since escalated formal complaints to CISAS and the Financial Ombudsman, as VOXI has failed to provide a functioning service while still taking my money. The complete lack of accountability and constant false promises make this the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
If you want a mobile network that actually works, go elsewhere.”
“Chat functionality keep cutting me off. I got through to 6 different agents but each time I got cut-off, in two cases after they were helping me for over 25 minutes. Theer is no way to reconnect to the same agent so you have to start the query over gain. Nightmare system although each of teh agents were helpfuol, until they got cut-off.”
“this network does not even deserve one star! i have been 3 weeks without any use of any services. i have not been able to contact anyone or use my mobile data. i work in the health care and need my phone. i have been on the phone to voxi multiple times asking for the issue to be resolved. after 3 weeks of no help and false promises i have had enough! do not buy off this company. the treatment i have received is disgusting.”
“I bought a VOXI PAYG SIM card from the Vodafone shop in Epsom around Christmas time.
I'm back in the UK now (September) and topped it up with 10 GBP, using the pay-as-you-go-top-up link on the Vodafone website
This worked for phone calls and SMS but I don't have working mobile internet.
Now, on asking VOXI.co.uk for support, it transpires that this number (even though I have a working SIM) is registered to someone else and they refuse to help.
They referred me to the Vodafone shop, where I've just been, and the guy there refused to help also, because it is VOXI.
You may remember from earlier that this is the shop that sold me the SIM card in the first place... somewhat comically he was literally sitting opposite a large VOXI poster.
He asked me to call 191, whereupon it asks for my mobile number and then plays me an automated message to talk to VOXI and promptly hangs up.
Contacting the chat again takes me back to the start. Infinite hamster wheel.
10 quid lost, likely ends up being pocketed by the bloke that offshored all the support. An absolute scandal quite honestly.”
“No service , works going on apparently with no finishing dates, after three months I give up, may as well have a yoghurt pot and string! Also customer service is a nightmare and olif you try Vodafone they hang up / blocked if you are a voxi customer even though I was sold this rubbish in a Vodafone shop.
AVOID”
“Can't pause a contract/sim until you've signed in to your account using that sim. So I've now been paying monthly payments for months as I'm literally unable to stop my contract for a sim I can't use. Customer service is an absolute joke, the AI bot isone of the worst I've ever encountered. I am just paying 10 a month for nothing with no way to stop it. Avoid at all costs”
“Paid for Europe roaming pass, charged me and didn't add it to my account. Tried to phone and got disconnected multiple times. Online chat was hopeless, didn't add roaming pass to my account and tried to get me to pay again which obviously I didn't want to do. Cannot recommend.”
“I don't think I cared so much about something so broken before, it has messed me over big time taking away network access and being unable to call/message during VERY important moments including business times.
Genuinely borderline illegally trash. Their mobile app was so bad, it got so many 1* reviews that Google Play removed it. Been waiting for 3 years for them to "improve" or "fix" literally anything. Even if they lowered their prices even more just to keep dealing with this vile failure. You think you're getting a deal scrapping at the bottom of the barrel, but in the end this is a not-so-clever attempt at a scam.
10 man team - 9 in the advertising and 1 on the toilet not even sure if he's part of the company.
Extra specifics: Once a recurring payment is paused or broken it's impossible to set it up again, no real support exists (only a useless bot) & the actual network stability is the worst of all.”
“I received this text ‘Sorry, the payment for your next 30 day plan didn't go through. Sign in to voxi.co.uk and update your payment method in the next 2 days or you'll be opted out of your plan. We will try to take payment again tomorrow.’
I clicked on the link and looked everywhere in the app for ‘update payment method’ and couldn’t find it. There’s a search bar and I entered my issue but nothing on the drop-down list was relevant. I tried calling several times but each call was cancelled my them within a second of it ringing. When I clicked on ‘help’ I was asked if I want to download some file which I assume is pages and pages of common questions; none of which would answer my query. I got stitched into an online chat with a piece of metal (I always ask questions like are you a robot or what day of the week is it?) to see if I’m talking to a real person. The robot failed the test. I was able to leave my number somewhere on the app for somebody to call me. Massive shock and surprise; nobody bothered to.
I need to speak to an actual human to ask *why did the payment not go through?
* To advice of a SIM card / number change
Since they clearly don’t want to take my money, are unwilling to employ real people to answer questions, instead favouring things that rust, they’ve left me with no choice but to find a network supplier that DOES employ real people.
I’ll never understand these companies that make it really hard to give them money.”
“Absolutely awful experience trying to get a refund for a phone that i returned at the beginning of April still havent had my money back after 3 chats with there online support (which is incredibly slow i think every single chat has been close to an hour) and a 3 phone calls now and still havent had my money back. Really frustrating experience will never use voxi again and will be canceling my pay monthly sim with them for such bad customer service they cant be trusted”
“Trying to log into account to stop plan but can't because I don't have the SIM anymore. You have to receive a text to that SIM even though they have my email address on the account.
The live chat with customer service constantly crashes and they are useless.
Stay away from these guys”
“Incredibly useless and incoherent chat feature instead of just linking up to a customer support member. Voxi has repeatedly left me stranded in while roaming through sudden loss of services that I have paid for (roaming passes). Do not use voxi if connection uptime is critical.”
“Totally useless telecoms provider
After weeks without service and hours of wasted time following this up on “chat” they have now responded that they have lost my number
I have had this number for over 25 years so clearly a very unhappy customer”
“Claimed to have cancelled a handset order, but that was a lie. They then took payment and dispatched the item anyway. And now the returns process they have finally initiated appears to "lost" the handset. They continue to refuse my refund.
Edit after Voxi response - the assurance of cancellation was directly from Voxi customer services chat.
Their “X” contact team will reply a couple of times with a few hours between each message and then they will stop replying.
Their executive complaints team will call once, then close the complaint with NO resolution.
They cannot be trusted and are a damning representation of the parent company Vodafone.”
