“I purchased the 250lb Alpha bumper plate set, along with the 17lb Prime change plate set, as well as the vertical plate tree. The Alpha bumper plates are fantastic, make minimal noise (as advertised) with the added bonus of having low odor. The change plates are great too. The vertical plate tree is solid as a rock and holds all plates with no sway at all. It was easy to assemble too. Finally, shipping was fast. Vulcan came through on all accounts.”

“I wanted an Olympic Bumper set that I could use now and grow into and the set delivers beyond my expectations. The Standard bar knurling is just right and feels perfect wether doing basic reps or going for a personal record. This is going to be the golden standard for bars for me. The bumpers are even and go on the bar easy but without excess play.”

“Alpha 25. lb Bumper Plate I ordered are exactly what I needed for my garage gym set up. With limited space, I needed a bumper plate that was modest in width, possessed longevity and could be used both in and outdoors. After hours of research from all the major brands, I chose Vulcan. “Excellent quality of wood on this box jump. This product is more solid/dense than other wood box jumps I've experienced. Time will tell how it holds up to the elements in my garage, but I have a feeling that will be years. Order entry and shipping was excellent as well.”

“The technique plates are fantastic! I bought both the 2.5 and 5 kg plates for my youth Olympic weightlifting program and they hold up very well. They are stable and don't tip when loaded on a bar. I have used them with both the 2.5 bar and the 7kg bar and am very pleased with the performance.”

“I love these Alpha Bumper plates. They are low bounce and low noise. They seem durable. Shipping was very fast except for the 10 # plates. I have only been using them for about 3 weeks but so far they are as good as the reviews stated they would be. My only complaint is that I don’t have the money right now to buy more of them!”
