“The most well built GHD machine I have been on. I am a larger guy and this supports me without any concern of tipping it. (Which has happened on some lesser machines) great customer service to go along. Assembly took about an hour. Instructions are a a little vague if you are not one to assemble things often.”

“I really like Vulcan Strength Training Systems. I own three of their bars, three kettle bells and about 300 lbs of their bumper plates. Their equipment is quality . All of that equipment was acquired piecemeal, in probably 8 or 9 separate orders and I have had zero issues.”

“Vulcan as a company has been great. Fantastic products (love the Alpha plates), and shipping was fast. I also enjoy how the shipping cost is in the price (for the plates at least), so there isn't that total doubling surprise from shipping costs that you get from some other fitness equipment suppliers.”

“I purchased a 140 kilo bumper set. Nice plates ,there was an issue with UPS sending a plate back on their own. Reached out to customer service ,took a couple of weeks to resolve this and it really difficult to get them on the phone. I had wanted to cancel the order but they wouldn't allow me to do that ,it took awhile to get the bumpers in transit . Once they got here there was the issue with the missing bumper, which wasn't on Vulcan. On the fence about getting a bar from them.”

“I purchased the rubber coated weight plates (390 lbs worth), 5-75lb rubber elite hex dumbbells, and two 3 tier dumbbell racks. 1. Weight Plates: Very nice, and really cool looking too, except one 45lb plate is defective as it has metal showing and cords hanging out of it which has not been replaced. 2. Dumbells: Very nice, comfy handles, best pair I've used every, except for one pair. One Dumbell has the weight badge on upside down on one end so they do not match end to end. A pair of 65lb dumbbells is $257, I think everyone would agree they should be perfect for that cost. This has not been replaced either. 3. Dumbbell Rack 3 Tier: Very nice, built solid. 4. Support: Terrible. Trying to contact Vulcan is impossible. I've opened a case, and I did not receive a reply. I've called to follow up, and the phone system ultimately hangs up on you. I was going to try to have Vulcan make good on these issues prior to doing the review but I have no confidence at all that they will ever attempt to contact me. I've opened support cases and made several phone calls.”

“These color rubber bumper plates look and feel great! A substantial step up from my old rusty iron plates. Significantly quieter when using in my basement, they look great mounted on wall pegs, and carry less impact danger should they be dropped on a foot, etc. I originally ordered a set of 45-35-25's, then came back after trying out and ordered 10's, then later a second set of 25-10's. Free shipping makes this a much easier call and I have exactly the sizes/quantities I need this way!”

“Vulcan sent me a bent glute ham roller, refused to fix it claiming no warranty. Then fought my charge back on the credit card. Allot of effort on their part for a $69 that took them three months to ship. I’m sure they will delete this review. I have documentation proving my claim.”

“I purchased the multi grip bar. The finishing on this item is sub par at best. When the bar was painted at the factory there were dust shards all over the bar and also on the knurled handles. These are sharp and will cut you. They can be filed off, but why should I have to do that. There’s also touch up marker lines in certain areas. They state via their email that everything is inspected prior to shipping, if that was the case this bar shouldn’t have shipped to a customer who paid full price. Getting in touch via phone is impossible. They drop your call after 2 minutes of hold time. Their online support takes days and are not very helpful. The only positive feedback that I have is that the item was packed well. I uploaded a photo that shows the shards under the paint and also the marker touch up.”

“For the price and free shipping, it is a decently built power rack. I didn't include the logo cross member and this makes it wobbly from side to side. Wish vulcan would sell the cross member san the logo and rack posts on the site. Also they have a new rack with jammer arms and again no spec and compatibility info so don't know if these would fit mine. They need to fix the site ASAP.”

“I purchased the Vulcan build your own power rack. 3x3 with 1 inch holes so should accommodate several other brand's attachments. 24 x 93 inch rack in the back, band pegs, 2 sets of pipe safeties to perform isometrics, sandwich j cups, Standard pull up bar in the front, front stabilizers and spotter arms to be able to work outside the rack. Went together very easily, fit and finish was excellent. All welds looked smooth and very professional. At almost 500lbs of steel this is a tank and feels extremely solid with zero wobble even without being bolted down yet. All attachments fit very well with limited play. I tend to be a person that goes away from the mainstream and looks off the beaten path, when comparing this rack to similar layouts of other brands it was tough to pass on this package. Throw in the free shipping and this really becomes an unreal value, even more so after getting it and seeing the quality first hand. No buyers remorse yet, now to put it through its paces and see how it holds up.”

“I would have given 5 stars but the bench shipment arrived in damaged condition and packaged very poorly. Vulcan Strength stepped up to the plate and replaced the damaged components right away. Impressed with the customer service.”
