“First impressions the device is presented in a well packaged clear acrylic box and looks very smart. The device itself is very light but feels strong. Coated in a grippy rubber type texture this also feels good in the hand. The unusual oval design also stops it from rolling off the surface where you lay it. It also comes fully charged out of the box. It has two buttons one for a lower power hit and the other for a full power one. A small led is in-between the buttons and lights up when the buttons are pressed. No major light show going on here when you take a draw, all very nice and discreet. A firm pull of the mouthpiece section reveals the connection thread to screw in the cap(sule). It's a well engineered thread and the cap stops dead at its fully wound point. The mouthpiece is then snapped into place. Three taps on either button turns it on and vice versa to turn it off. This is the first e-cig that didn't make me choke and cough on the first using it. It comes with two caps of tobacco flavour and is a pleasant mild taste, very smooth vapour. In fact all the flavours I got (cherry, wild berry and apple) were smooth and tasty. One point on the wild berry flavour was a slight plastic taint that may fade but it was noticeable but all the other flavours did not have this. While all the flavours I have are all pleasant and smooth I do feel the flavours are quite mild and not strong, bitter or leave any kind of after taste. This may be what the designers have deliberately wanted and seeing as it's consistent over all the caps I'm happy with that. Many reviews I have seen say they can't tell the difference between a high power hit and a low power one but I can definitely tell the difference, stronger hit, flavour and thicker vapour on high is noticeable but admittedly not a huge difference. On changing the different flavoured caps there is absolutely no overlap of flavours which is good. Small rubber caps can be fitted to the end of the caps to stop any contamination of the thread and also to prevent any leaks although I did not see any leak at all and have frequently changed caps. I would recommend this e-cig for as your first device or wanting to try a value for money e-cig. Depending on how much you use it may up the running cost over a tank style e-cig but the advantages of a no leak system, no overlapping flavours, cool design and very smooth vapours make this a very desirable device. 5 out of 5 stars in relation to how much it costs, build quality and vaping performance.”

“Love the choice of colours. The feel is comfortable and they are easy to use. No spillages like with some devices I've had in the past. Good value for money. Love mine, I have 2.”

“Really happy with product, we can't wait to start them tomorrow. One complaint I would say was that when I opened the vype pens my husbands had the 2 X cartridges in where as I never had any in mine”

“I started using the Vype epen because it was easier for me to change the refill instead of having to mess around with pouring liquids. I now, after 25 years of smoking, won't touch a cigarette. I don't want one, I don't like the taste I just want my Vype epen!”

“I have found the quality a little hit and miss. Sometimes you get a nice batch but other times the liquid just doesn't dispense properly and you get a horrid burning metallic taste which spoils the experience. Flavours are good but it may be nice to have some new bolder more adventurous flavours. Overall I am happy though.”

“I have two of these one for home and one for the car, apart from the obvious benefit of ecigs they are the easiest e cigs I've ever used no mess no sucking up excess liquid and stickiness, hopefully they will help me give up the cigarettes”

“Very slow delivery, but think that's because of Christmas. Epen is easy to work and not harsh like others I have tried. The coil is in the refill so no more having to buy extra coils. Which was a big problem with the last brand of e cigarette I used.”

“Works exactly as I hoped it would. Very simple and easy to manage, just a bit larger than I expected. Plenty of vapor but I shall have to experiment to find a flavour I like: the one provided is a bit light and sharp for me. I'd prefer something more cigar like.”

“This is a quality item which fulfills all its promises and at a decent price. My delivery was some days late but since this was over the Xmas and New Year period, was probably understandable and certainly not Vype's fault. The main problem is flavour. Don't expect it to taste like your favourite cigarette - it doesn't. It does have a 'tobbacoey' flavour and I find that I'm gradually getting more used to it. It's early days so, whether or not I can switch from cigarettes to vaping - which was my hope - remains to be seen. Anyway, I'll persevere and keep my fingers crossed!”

“I have been using other e-cigs with tanks for two years but everyone I seem to buy quickly loses the amount of smoke/vapour it releases so after seeing Vype on the TV I bought a starter pack which cost a third of the price of my first e-cig starter pack . It's fab, I have already ordered another starter pack and cartridges too. I had cause to email Vype the other day and I received an immediate response which shows the high level of customer service too. I am recommending Vype to my friends”
