“Customer Service is shocking. It is not acceptable to wait in the store for 30 minutes for a Click & Collect order requested the day before, especially with no apology. Gave them another chance. Next visit, I was forced to move out around a member of staff heading towards me with my full basket and her empty handed. Then I asked if the Plenish milk had to be kept in the fridge before opening and I was told in a short manner that it was, that's why it's sold from the chiller. WRONG. As she was so rude I phoned Plenish myself. You DO NOT have to keep their milk in the fridge until it's opened. Sadly it is the middle aged women in the Sidmouth store who are astonishingly rude. I thought they would know better as I'm one and would never treat customers the way they do.”

“First time I have shopped I bought food that I thought might be nice as a treat we had to put bread rolls in bin disgusting soup , Chinese rolls etc etc had much nicer in Aldi ready meals terrible what’s going on ?? Prices our expensive for poor quality very disappointed”

“ive been in waitrose ecclesall road this evening about seven thirty no staff on any of the aisles nostaff on customer service none on fish co0unter or meat counter no one to help nowhere you don't look after customers cowboys way too expensive I wont come again”

“Way overpriced. Steaks are much smaller, thinner, and more expensive per weight unit than those sold by Tesco and Sainsbury's, while the fruit is of same quality as the other supermarkets, with barely anything organic, and the choice of cheeses is dire. Waitrose clearly plays on a false image of high quality in order to appeal to an educated middle class clientele, but it's all an illusion.”

“Recently purchased waitrose n partner frozen chicken n leak meal from two, unfortunately it looked like one chicken breast was divided into two, so really a meal for one! Very disappointing”

“I bought two chicken legs fed on an omega 3 enriched diet. They were oven cooked on a bed of Mediterranean veg and finished off in a red wine and passata sauce. This is tried and tested for super tasty and tender legs. It was neither. Sauce was great. Legs were chewy and lacked much flavour. Very disappointed when you spend so much effort on preparation.”

“Just went into Waitrose and picked up some Pom bears for my screaming daughter and apparently you can only buy them with a children’s bag so Waitrose put them in the bag then rather than letting children see them, want them but can’t have them.”

“I'd like to comment on Waitrose 1 Perfectly Fruited Hot Cross Buns. In the absence of any other traditional hot cross buns in stock, I bought these, unnecessarily larger/two in a packet hot cross buns. Normally it is hard to go wrong with the traditional ones. However, these buns are severely lacking in fruit - is that perfectly fruited? - and very, very dry, with a nasty flavour. I will certainly not be buying again.”

“Why do you expect everyone to drink your free coffee on the move. I am disabled and find this idea discriminates against me. Also when I used the cup you have nsisted on providing it had a small hole at the top which allowed the coffee to spill out. I have cataracts in both eyes which are unfortunately inoperable due to my medical condition which could result in haemorage behind the eyes. My complaint is that when the coffee spilt on the floor I did not see it and was called a bloody nuisance by your staff . I spoke to your manager and the matter was resolved but I now have no alternative but to pay for my coffee at the restaurant. I am not poor and this is not a hardship but the principle is still irksome that your rules do not consider the needs of the disabled who cannot carry things around with them. A very disgruntled Waitrose shopper. My card number is 9210170778129237 and I am a good customer of Waitrose as is my daughter. I do think you should consider your policy's effect on the disabled. “I bought a punnet of fresh Waitrose raspberries. I started picking at them until I found a dead fly lurking underneath one of the raspberries. I contacted Waitrose customer service, after saying that they would investigate they took nearly 4 weeks to get back to me, only to say that they can't tell at what stage the fly got inside the box, as though that makes any difference! Flies, alive or dead, carry pathogens which, when they come into contact with food which is then ingested, can have devastating consequences on your health. No excuse!”

“Waitrose obviously did not consult with the elderly and those with physical disabilities when they decided to supply such ridiculously high chairs at their stores. In addition when I asked for help with the' carry out' service they refused to give me a piggy back!”

“WAITROSE DO NOT SELL OSTRICH EGGS. Drove to Lutterworth, Corley services M6 northbound and Kenilworth. One and a half hours and 75 miles later I’ve come to the conclusion Waitrose DO NOT SELL OSTRICH EGGS!”

“I have not had a bad experience with Waitrose per say ... It was the Heston Blumenthal Christmas pudding individual and family size. I have bought these puddings for several years but after this year maybe not again for the simple reason they were all Clementine and very little pudding around it. Very disappointing ....”

“Have been online shopping for over 2 decades now, and never have I had such a poor experience from such a large company. They refused to allow me to purchase a large order which has discounted items, simply because there online system does not have any free slots for ANY of there London stores. Not EVEN collecting in person was possible. Instead they insisted I would have to pay for the full price of the goods as it would be classified as being purchased the days after (when the prices go back up). Wasted over an hour online and even a half hour phone call and then staff had no solution. Really annoyed and flabbergasted how a company effectively is happy to loose custom on a technicality or system process.”

“Ordered bacon sandwich the lady put it onto brown bread which I didn’t ask for them when I asked for it on white she pulled a face , the bacon sandwich usually has a nice quality bacon with at least 4 rashers what I got was 2 dried out rashers - I couldn’t go back as felt her attitude was just so poor from the off”
