Tried to part exchange my Raymond weil watch for a Omega, sent details including photos serial numbers etc details off identity card but was told that could not give a valuation as not enough information supplied, reading reviews it sounds like I've had a lucky escape!

I purchased a Panerai GMT this week from www.watchfinder.co.uk and was amazed at the professional service, and fast, (next day) delivery! I truly cannot fault this company? I received my new watch in immaculate condition yesterday, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it! I will no doubt purchase more watches from these guys in the future! Thank you! N Cheke

Genuine enquirer regarding a watch iv desired for quite some time. I’d left a message for them to get back to me they didn’t......now the watch has gone. Not only had I added the watch to the find for me list they never told me they had it I found the watch through a general random look through their site.....not great at all. The pictures provided where from early sunday morning.....gutted

I wanted an Omega Seamaster for a special birthday present for me. The one I really wanted has now been discontinued and the new one with wavy lines on the watch face didn’t appeal to me. I found the one I really wanted and after looking closely gave them a bell. Sean was very helpful, answered all my questions and was not pushy. A couple of e mails later about sizing etc; I decided to go for it. The experience was first class. I got a phone call from the despatch people to make sure I was available and a guaranteed time between 9 -1 pm. It came and I unpacked it. Beautiful box, lovely safe/ professional wrapping, it arrived intact. The watch itself is brilliant. It’s not my birthday till early October so I have put it in a safe place till then. I am really very happy and, I felt over the internet with something as expensive as an Omega, you are quite rightly a bit twitchy. All I can say, the company did a fantastic job, and if my experience is repeated for you, then you will really be very happy with them. Well done. ATVB. Alan Mac

I purchased a watch from Watchfinder four years ago. Still have it and absolutely fine and happy with it and the service received so much so I decided to purchase another. Within 48 hours of purchase a tiny dent was noticed on the bezel. Took it back and was told there was nothing they could do. It had been there when I purchased it and that was it. I could either get a credit note or exchange for another watch. I could not have a refund (did not necessarily want one as I loved the watch). The point I was trying to make to them (unsuccessfully) was that they should have mentioned the dent. When I went back within 48 hours I was told that it was mentioned on the service papers (then why was it not mentioned to me). Apparently the dent could also been seen on the website photo. I did point out that I had not seen it on their website only in the shop. In the shop (on purchase) I was told that if I was not happy with it, I could have a refund within 14 days. However, they failed to add the words "but once you have taken it out of the shop you will only get a credit note or exchange". Customer Service left a rather bad taste in my mouth so will I use them again (no) will I recommend them (no).

Woeful Customer Service - Bought an IWC Portofino in store and was told I couldn't take it away because it needs to go to the repairer as the date doesn't work! No apology, total waste of my time.

DON'T sell your watch here unless you don't mind receiving peanuts (they will always offer the lowest estimate after inspection). They sold my tag at over double the price they gave me. I was preparing to buy a couple of Rolex watches here but knowing how much they're ripping sellers off, I've decided to shop elsewhere.

Watchfinder gave me £2000 for my Tudor Submariner just over two years ago in part exchange for a £5000 Rolex Submariner. I often used to look to see if they were selling it and intrigued as to what price, well I have just seen it on there site for £8950 that's a whopping £6950 profit well done Watchfinder for offering me such a fair price SHAME on you.

The watch equivalent of westealanycar.com! Totally unrealistic offer 000s under the next organisation I went to. Don’t fall for the marketing and shop around.

The retail service from Watchfinder is adequate, but DO NOT use this company for a repair unless you need a full watch refurbishment costing hundreds of pounds. Their tactics to get you to do this and face weeks of delays in getting your watch back are underhand and very frustrating. If and when I ever do get my watch back after submitting for a simple strap repair, Watchfinder will not be a retailer with whom I would re-engage under any circumstances.

Would like to mention Rihanna at the Birmingham Bullring branch, she was excellent and deserves a BIG thank you. My partner bought a Cartier and from seeing it online to collecting instore was seamless! Will recommend to friends and family for sure.

I enjoyed buying a Cartier La Dona from the Royal Exchange branch, saddened to see these negative reviews. My experience was very positive! considering buying another Cartier from them actually. I would not hesitate to buy from them again and given I know their competition in London at least, there is nobody I would rather buy from.

After choosing to ring watch finder to place my order the watch arrived the dial was a different colour to the pic so I sent it back and bought a diamond dot dial more £££’s so there was a few calls to and from what I didn’t know was the number the gave me to call was a business rate number which is only there to generate revenue pretty poor for such a “high class company” You asked me to contact you for anti fraud purposes with the business rate number, it’s not about the money I just think it’s a poor show will stick to buying watches from Rolex direct much better experience and no hidden charges, Isn’t earning £6000 on a watch enough obviously not because when you look at your phone bill countless charges there is no reason to have a business rate number

So incredibly expensive it’s untrue. Extortion is an understatement. Avoid at all costs. Shop around.

I purchased what I thought to be a genuine Cartier blue ballon watch from the Canary Wharf London branch. The watch was sold to me in a Cartier box with the Cartier booklet and certificate which is stamped with the authorised Cartier dealer. I was informed this was a new watch which they had just come in. The watch kept stopping so I brought back to the Canary Wharf store and I was informed I had not wound the watch enough and assured this was the issue. Whilst wearing the watch a screw fell out and I again brought the watch back to the shop. They informed me that they would send it to there watchmakers to have the screw replaced. I emailed as after two weeks heard nothing and was informed they are sending it to Cartier in Switzerland and this will take up to six weeks. Six weeks later I emailed again and was informed the watch has been found to have fake parts in it and would I like a replacement or as I am within my guarantee have my money back. I spoke with the manager and informed her of my concerns of the company selling a fake watch and had the screw not fallen out I would have not been aware and asked how this watch was not picked up on. The manager informed me not all watches go through there full checks so, when The manager asked if I would would like a replacement I said no would you want a replacement when your sold a fake watch and she said no She wouldn’t. please be aware if you purchase anything to have it thoroughly checked.

Nothing more than a second hand car dealer... Avoid at all costs, very amateurish outfit, take ages to value your watch and then kick in the nuts with a really low value. Best bit took nearly 2 weeks to get the watch back, but they rang me several times asking if I'd changed my mind. Got a great price from Blowers of Hull nearly 2k over the WF valuation. Lots of back feedback out there and believe me it's justified.
