“Lovely staff, very helpful. The only not so good thing is the shop is very sparse…the cream bar was shut throughout the week, the pub only took bookings as does the pool (45 min swim only) if u don’t have transportation u are stuck in the middle of nowhere, also the shower in the lodge wasn’t very clean and the doors come off as you open them. Apart from that it was lovely.”

“We come to WRC every year and love how peaceful and tranquil it is. The swimming pool is superb and the kids love it.”

“The centre it’s self absolutely lovely stay in Oulton penthouse accommodation very tired carpet and furnishing need replacing balcony needed good clean as did outside furniture All staff very nice and couldn’t do enough for you only had to ask Lovely place for relaxing break”

“Lovely quite place with just what u need a lovely swim in the afternoon followed by a cold drink in the pud from the Amazing friendly waiters and then a lovely evening meal, then back to the yurt for a games night and chill, cleanliness was amazing from the yurt to the toilets and showers to the surrounding area”

“Beautiful location, clean facilities, friendly staff. We were able to avoid the peak season so don’t know how it would feel when it is booked out but for us it was calm, spacious, quiet and just what we needed.”

“We enjoyed our stay with our 5 and 10 year old grandchildren. We all had a great time. We didn’t use any of the facilities as we were in a motorhome. Staff were friendly and helpful, the kids play area was really good, so kept the kids amused. We hired a boat for the day, apart from that we stayed put and didn’t venture out. The pool looked good but didn’t use it, An entertainment room was by the pool with game machine and pool table and various other coin machines to win kids prizes, a soft furniture area too, so somewhere for families to gather in bad weather. We will be back again sometime, the kids didn’t want to leave.”
