“Peaceful, relaxing site. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great food and drink at the onsite pub. Clean, comfortable accommodation. We enjoyed seeing all the birds on the bird feeder outside our lodge.”

“What a peaceful lovely spot of the country! Facilities were clean, up to date and I loved the shower/toilet area for being private. We stayed in a yurt which was great apart from the pesky ants!! Maybe a food storage box would be a good addition? We had an issue with some very noisy neighbours (a large group of 40) but security were on it and the management dealt with the issue swiftly! We have booked in a lodge next year!”

“3rd time here and can’t fault it. Twice camping and once in a yurt. Quite a small compact site but the setting is lovely. Kids love the playground and swimming. Facilities are top notch. Toilet facilities are the best I’ve used. Always had a good exerience in Waveney Arms. The ladies on Reception and shop (well stocked) are friendly and helpful. We’ll be back!”

“We love the site. Have been twice and will definitely be back. Pitch size good (Coot 4) and friendly staff. Kids love the playground and the bunnies running around. The swimming pool is a huge bonus. Only thing is the water taps are quite far away depending on where you are and the showers could be better maintained during the day as sometimes not up to scratch. Also some shower rooms did not have a shelf for shampoo etc and maybe a little grate or something to stand on so not standing on the floor directly would be good. Thanks Waveney - the Dearn's x”

“Our 2nd time staying in the pods. Such a great place and the park is great for the kids. Shower blocks are the best we have seen and the Inn on site so very convenient and child friendly. See you next time!”

“We have been coming to Waveney for years and really rate the site. This year we stayed in the new Hales lodge. It was brand new so I couldn’t really fault the standards. There were a couple of issues the firm should consider reviewing, the glass hob exctractor is too low which resulted in me banging my head several times when leaning forward to make coffee / cooking. The other issue was that you need to swap the gas kettle for an electric one. It gets very warm with the kettle on. Other than that, perfect. The staff were friendly as ever and the facilities spot on. We booked for next year before we left.”

“We have had such a fantastic stay in the spacious lodge.We relaxed in the hot tub,enjoyed the swimming pool had a lovely meal at the inn and had an amazing time on the broads in the boat that we hired.We found all the staff very helpful and the centre was very clean.we can't wait to return.”

“Facilities, swimming pool, where located in river setting, pub, playground etc. Only way things could be better is a costume spinner in pool changing rooms. I know it may not be classed at environmentally friendly but its difficult to dry towels and costumes if weather is not hot enough to dry them naturally. A spinner would help immensely”

“Camping pods were in a good location for families - right next to the play area. Pods Heating and lights were an added bonus although I don't think the tv was needed. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were sad to come home.”

“Peaceful Nights sleep on a huge bed, woke up to a stunning view, just beautiful. Would recommend staying to get away from those busy work stresses. Best Breakfast this year, definitely a must after a good nights sleep.”
