I contacted Which? after London & country messed me around, they had a new staff who did not know what to do after 4 weeks failed to deliver. My agent at Which? was Victoria Salter who was excellent and she was fluent in mortgage jargon and new her stuff and therefore I could rely on ; she found me a good re-mortgage and buy to let products with ease and kept me informed throughout the whole process, I felt that I could rely on her and she had a brilliant support team working with her. I cannot thank Victoria enough and would highly recommend her, for all her hard work in arranging my mortgages. Christopher Tilley supported Victoria he was absolutely brilliant too. Well done Which?

I'm writing this review to bring to your attention the excellent work carried out by Capreice Mann of WHICH Mortgage Advisers despite failing to secure a mortgage. Let me say that I have never had a problem raising issues when I am not satisfied, but I firmly believe that good work should also be given the same spotlight. In Caprice, I felt hat I had someone who had my back, who listened and advised without judgment, and given my families current financial maelstrom, that cannot have been easy. Correspondence was responded to in a timely fashion without fail, and Caprice always telephoned if there was something more serious to discuss rather than rely on email alone which again was reassuring and very much appreciated. The fact that I have not secured a mortgage deal at this time was nothing to do with Caprice; in fact, I know of nobody that has come closer to making a silk purse from a sow's ear than Caprice has in trying to secure us a Mortgage. As it stands, my wife and I have decided to put our house in order for now, and then sort the mortgage out again in the new year. When the time is right, I would like Caprice to be the lady in question to take us through the process again and hopefully to a successful conclusion, given that next time round, I will hopefully be giving Caprice much more to work with.

My situation was not simple, working for an EU institution, earning tax-free in euros. Many brokers were hesitant to take it on, Alex Kemp had no problem taking this on and quickly found me more than one option to choose from. There were a fair few hurdles on the way but Alex and Shane Lucas were active and responsive throughout the process, whereas many others might have given up. They also have very good contacts with relevant underwriters which helped the process along at critical junctures. I would recommend them highly without hesitation.

I contacted Which as a last ditch attempt to get a mortgage approved on the house we loved and wanted so badly! As I had some issues on my credit file with incorrect information being filed.... We struggled with getting a loan from a high street lender, we thought all was lost until I spoke with Victoria at Which. She was reassuring and full of advice and offered to look at the case. After an extensive search she found a solution and we started on the application process. After 4 weeks of sending info and conversations we now have a mortgage offer!! Fingers crossed all being well we will be in by the end of Oct. Thank you Victoria and Which - you have been great. Highly recommended ????

Alex Kemp and Shane Lucas dealt with our buy to let remortgage. We would have no hesitation in recommending them. They diarised key dates and were constantly trying to move the transaction forward. When problems arose they were quick to respond to them and kept in constatnt touch with us. Michael

I'm not one to write reviews, only to complain when the service is unsatisfactory. However, I have no hesitation in writing one up for Chris Timms and his team. The support we had was second to none, they were constantly updating our progress, liaising with the 3rd parties on our behalf and were happy to work to our timelines. Tiffany Verren our Mortgage Coordinator, definitely put Kim at ease and she deserves a huge amount of praise as that is no mean feat! I think mortgages are tricky frustrating things, but the work these guys do really is top draw stuff. If you're thinking about what mortgage is best for you, come speak to these guys, they're frank, plain and straight talking and as far as I was concerned, what they promised, they delivered. Well the magazine looks like a good idea when you have suffered at the hands of rogue companies and bad customer service. but to be honest it was unpleasant with three of their staff. i spoke to a lawyer, who, being well aware I am recovering from mental health problems proceded to speak down to me in a very patronising way, and while his advice was right his attitude was very unpleasant and I felt like saying that he should speak to clients with a bit more respect instead of talking down to them. so I decided to cancel my subscription also due to financial difficulties, and the first woman simply pushed and pushed me to keep my subscription open, I ended up hanging up so I didnt lose my temper. I called back to speak to someone else who appologised but then proceded to push and push and offer more and tell me of other magazines available. It was very off putting to have their services pushed on you when you explained you are already unhappy with service received and in bad financial status. very off putting and it seems even those fighting for the consumers do not have decent customer services either. Very dissapointing and dismaying.

Which? Mortgage Advisers have been amazing to use. Michael Jarrett in particular was resourceful and patient, taking me through the hurdles of obtaining a mortgage with stressless ease. I would advise anyone baulking at paying the minimal fees for this service that it is money very, very well spent. I am confident that I now have the best mortgage for my needs.

I honestly can’t thank Mr Adam Huttlestone and Which Mortgage enough for the hard work they put in to obtain my mortgage. I had literally exhausted every avenue by trying various different banks and going through lots of other brokers to no avail. I had actually told the seller that I could not buy the flat before I gave Adam and Which a call but to my great surprise they came up trumps and found me the perfect mortgage for my needs. I was able to call the seller back a few days later and secure the flat that I so desperately wanted. Mr Huttlestone was professional and knowledgeable throughout. Great work guys. I will highly recommend you to anyone looking for a mortgage. Thanks again Rich

When you use a service like this for something as important as buying a house, want you want is clear and impartial mortgage advice, a thoroughness when explaining technicalities, and an expeditious return of any communication or query. Our advisor Chris Timms had all these skills and attributes in abundance. He also had a clear flair when dealing with people, and was a very approachable and efficacious person. I really would use this service again and would recommend it to anyone seeking assistance with mortgages and home buying.

We used Which Mortgage advice service for our recent house move. Our advisor, Chris Timms, was incredibly helpful and took the time to ensure we both fully understood the different packages which were available to us. He was on hand to answer our queries and to assist when our circumstances changed part way through the process. I cannot recommend this service highly enough.

The entire organisation was efficient polite and personable, not always found in this industry. I would not hesitate to recommend Which? Mortgage to anyone and I have particular praise for Alex Kemp who was unfailingly cheerful and patient.

Adam Huttlestone was an excellent advisor regarding my mortgage requirements. He was both knowledgeable and professional in all my dealings with him. He kept me informed at every stage and followed-through with advice and help along the way. He was also enthusiastic and proficient and his guidance and expertise led to a satisfactory outcome. I would be very happy to recommend him to all who need expert impartial mortgage advice.

I found Which? Mortgage Advisers to be quick to respond and clear in their communication with both personal phone calls and email, following calls up when they could not obtain me immediately or responding when I left a message for them. Not sure they fully explored all our options when we initially started inquiring, but they gave us specific recommendations and highlighted competition between different providers and what, at the current moment in time, was cheapest over a 2 year cycle of low rate and fixed rate mortgages. They kept us informed of changes in the market and when we had specific questions about details of a mortgage they provided answers, reassuring us. When we made our decision to pursue a particular mortgage they moved extremely quickly and secured the offer for us.

I'm extremely happy with the service I received from Which? Mortgage Advisers. I originally attempted to deal directly with the providers but, as a first time buyer, found this approach time consuming and daunting. Which? made the process much more straightforward. My advisers were very helpful, informative and responded promptly to my emails. I will be more than happy to recommend Which? to friends in the future.
