“As a Which? Trusted Trader, we have been very disappointed with the lack of support from Which. We paid for our subscription last Dec, the Little Red Book (Directory) was not issued until August. I asked several times for a copy, but did not receive one until a couple of days ago - our annual subscription has now expired! Our entry in this "Little Red Book" gave an entirely incorrect email address for us. When we queried it, were told by the "Customer Support Liaison" that this was the email address initially provided by us. It wasn't, and I have written evidence to prove it. The Customer Sales person was condescending in the extreme, constantly spoke over me when I was trying to convey my complaint, and just made me feel that the entire debacle was my fault. I raised several issues with her, and she just dismissed them, saying, "Oh, yes, other people have mentioned that, we'll correct it next year". She kept saying "You should have updated your profile page", yet when I try to do so, get an error message, saying the link is broken. Not good enough. We spent close to £500 for an incorrect entry in this Little Red Book, and on the occasions I have had to call them, they have been unhelpful in the extreme.”

“I am a very happy customer of Which? Mortgage advisor's. One of their advisor's, Neil Dunn, helped me quickly understand my situation and the constraints of mortgage lenders, as well as me find a really great mortgage. I could have saved a lot of time an effort if I had talked to them sooner, so really appreciate their efforts. If I need mortgage assistance in the future I will definitely be contacting them first. Thank you so much.”

“Excellent fully independent advice. No one tried to sell us anything. The advice was purely with our best interests at in mind. Complete explanations, rushing and peace of mind options. Adam Huttlestone was particularly helpful. It would recommend him and Which? Mortgage advisors to my friends and family.”

“I requested pension information from Which advertised as a "Free Guide". I have today received a telephone call from them or a company they employ to ask if I have 5 minutes to discuss my request. When I asked what would take 5 minutes the very officious girl on the phone said she would take my address and whilst my details were being processed would talk to me about how Which could help me. Sensing this was going to be a sales pitch I declined her offer. She then pressed me on why I did not want to go forward with the call and I said are you are going to try and sell me a subscription to which ?. I was amazed when she came back with if you are going to be rude I will end the call !!!. I said I had only asked a question and I thought she was being rude. At this point I decided I had had enough and decided to terminate the call. After considering her comments I have complained to Which and asked them to review the tape of our conversation as I am sure this is not how they expect their staff to behave.”

“I came across Which? by chance when an Independent Mortgage Advisor and a few banks had declined various mortgage applications. Due to my self employed status and policies changing I was at a very awkward stage. However I found Which? online and approached them and have not looked back. I thank Alex Kemp and Shane Lucas immensely as without their persistence and drive my completion on my flat would not have happened. The service I received was friendly, approachable and thorough, they have helped me to make sense of procedures I didn't really understand. I am very happy to now be in the Home Owners Club! Thank you again.”

“The mortgage advisor we have been dealing with has been absolutely wonderful. She has been so helpful from the beginning, keeping us informed regularly and answering all of our queries quickly. We have actually referred her to our close friends because she has dealt with our mortgage application so efficiently, couldn't thank her more!”

“Alex Taylor has been fantastic. We didn't know anything about the mortgage industry. We do now! Completely felt at ease at all times, answered all our question. Would recommend to anyone buying their first home or remortgage.”

“Okay, the finance sector has gone mad with new regulations and there was a lot of paperwork to provide, but Which? helped me through the maze and did exactly what they said they would do. They got me a great rate, and took time to understand my needs. I would recommend them to you too!”

“We can say whole-heartedly that Adam Huttlestone is the best mortgage adviser we've come across. Within minutes of chatting with him you can feel that your in good hands where no matter how busy he his he will return your calls and email. He is very committed and true to his word and even if its late in the day or he's busy he will still take the time to explain everything. He supported us throughout the process of which we are very grateful for and would definitely contact him again and recommend!!”

“My adviser was Maryam who made what would otherwise have been an overwhelming task, very manageable for me and kept me up to date at all times. I would highly recommend Which mortgage advisors and in fact already have to a couple of people. Richard”

“My Adviser was Maryam. From start to finish the service she provided was excellent. She knows her subject, provided me with all the information I needed, answered all my questions, always contacted when she said she would and worked hard to obtain my mortgage for me. I would recommend Maryam and the Which? Mortgage Advice Service to anyone.”

“Superb. With their extensive experience and mortgage product awareness, I was able to obtain a mortgage to suit my circumstances when high street lenders had turned me away. “Actually I was very happy - they always kept in touch being proactive and phoning or emailing me with updates so no complaints and I got my money on the day I wanted it - although the building society did fanny around a bit over the lease but I cannot hold Steven and Shane responsible for that - Building Societies are running scared over the new MMR and they seem to have lost the ability to use common sense, reason and take a risk based approach”

“This was our first experience in using Which mortgage advisors, I would just like to thank Victoria Salter and Claire Morgan, the customer service experience was first class and both were extremely helpful and professional, there were a couple of hurdles to overcome and they both played there part in resolving the issues very quickly and we were kept in the loop every step of the way. If any other business or organisation needed help with thier customer service experience they should be using Victoria and Claire as role models. We would recommend Which Mortgage Advisors to anyone wishing to change their mortgage.”

“I contacted Which? Mortgage Advisers, as my mortgage lender's SVR was very high and they had no better deal to offer. Alex Kemp and Shane Lucas at Which? were wonderfully helpful in what proved to be a very stressful remortgaging situation. I wanted an interest-only buy-to-let mortgage and I am a pensioner, so that was a challenge in itself, one from which Alex did not flinch. He found me a very good deal and I was ready to proceed when my long-term tenant suddenly died, leaving me shocked and undecided as to whether to proceed at all. Alex was completely sympathetic and did not pester me while I took time to consider my options. I decided to proceed, which was where the stress really began, as the property lawyers appointed by the new lender were both incompetent and opaque in their dealings, which delayed the process several times, as I and Shane, who was my 'case handler' struggled to make sense of their communications. At no point was I made to feel anything other than fully supported by both Alex and Shane, who took all my questions and concerns seriously, Shane eventually taking over all communication with the lawyer on my behalf. Now that we have reached completion, I intend to lodge a complaint against the lawyers and Alex has offered unsolicited to support me in that complaint. I cannot speak more highly of Which? Mortgage Advisers and, were I ever to consider remortgaging again, would have no hesitation in consulting them.”
