“Our local Whistles closed so when I saw 3 dresses I liked I went to John Lewis to try them . The first time I visited they only had two out of the three . And sadly not every size . The checked v neck textured dress was only in an 18 . The plain blue textured dress was in a 14 . One too big one too small . I ordered direct together with green checked aysemetrical dress. All sizes 16 but green checked on 18 as reviews said it was VERY small. They arrived promptly ✔️ but order was a split delivery . None fitted well . Armholes too big . Shoulders needed lifting . I decided to return all . Y total disappointment has been the inability to speak to anyone in Customer Services on any day ! I have rung at least 8 times and whilst you get a very pleasant message you eventually get disconnected because they are too busy !!! I have had a refund for two dresses but a month later I am still waiting for the third dress refund . I have sent proof of posting but still nothing . I liked two of the dresses very much do I have actually purchased them from John Lewis and am in the process of having them altered . At least with John Lewis you get a guaranteed service . Never again will I purchase from Whistles direct ! A very disappointed Customer .”

“Unfortunately the online delivery service sent the wrong shirt. I rang my local store at Covent Garden (who had sent it out originally). They were very nice and put the correct shirt aside for me to exchange but when I got there, they had put the same incorrect shirt aside. Luckily they had the right one in my size so alls well that ends well.”

“This was my first purchase from Whistles as I have a special occasion coming up. My entire wardrobe is size 16 bottoms and size 18 tops. I ordered this dress in a size 18. It was too small and I was devastated - the dress was lovely but far too small. As it was what I would call an expensive purchase I expected sizing to be more generous. I cannot overstate how disappointed I was - returned the next day.”

“Speedy delivery but the dress came packaged poorly. It was practically stuffed into a padded envelope and terribly creased . I was wearing it to an event the next day so had no choice other than to wear it otherwise I would have complained and returned it.”
