Wool is far more efficient at keeping you warm and cool than other bedding materials, meaning you don't need the loft to achieve the same result. “We have had several quilts over the years, a few weeks ago we visited the Cheshire show & was given information about the wool quilts. We decided to purchase one from the Wool Company, the site was easy to use, the delivery was quick &I we are delighted with the King size. I would recommend it to anyone Kind regards Marion”

“Ordered wool balls to refill a pillow. Arrived fast. Quite a big amount of wool, enough for several refills. The wool is clean and light and smells wonderful.”

“This was my second order for a Bed Set from the Wool Room as we were so impressed with the first. Quality is excellent and have been through all seasons with the first set (Light Duvet) and it has delivered on all promises, cool in summer, warm in winter etc. Also has been washed and come out as good as new. Has made a real difference to my quality of sleep, which has been affected by me being a "woman of a certain age"!!”

“Thank you for your prompt service. I received my blanket here in Canada and am so pleased with it!! I had no idea what a difference there would be, sleeping under a wool blanket from sleeping under a synthetic blanket and so was a little apprehensive about ordering from overseas and 'experimenting'. I love the blanket!! And funny thing, I notice I don't have a sneezing fit every night when I go to bed like I have for years. The quality is superb for the price!!! Thank you, Cindie in Canada”

“Super fast delivery and a really easy purchase. We bought mattress toppers for me and my daughters and they have been amazing. The biggest problem we now have is the girls are sleeping too well, so getting them up is proving tricky. And for me, it has made an expensive, but too firm mattress a joy instead of an overpriced regretful purchase,”

“I'd done quite a bit of research and read many reviews after deciding that I needed a mattress topper. I didn't particularly want a 'synthetic' product, but did I fully trust that wool would regulate body temperature throughout the night - in summer...? I have to say, it is money very well spent! If you're thinking that it's quite costly when you can get a topper for a fraction of the price, let me reassure you, it will the best investment in your comfort during the night. There is no smell, you may well have read on other websites that wool can be smelly, it is a perfect fit (I ordered the double size), and during the hottest day/night of the year so far, think it was 1st/2nd July... I did not sweat at all despite the temperature outside being 24 degrees at its coolest. It is so comfortable; no lumps, bumps or shifting of filling, it is a fantastic purchase. I will certainly be highly recommending your product.”

“I purchased a deluxe and classic pillow along with a mattress protector for my Mum who is now in a care home after breaking her femur then fracturing her shoulder September 2014 and now suffers from post trauma delirium classed similar to dementia. She was waking up on average 14 - 20 times during the night according to night staff. After now having the above this has greatly reduced to 6 - 9 and hopefully will go down further. Her heels were also in an awful mess from being in bed so long. I have asked the care home to place the deluxe pillow (half the wool taken out) under her ankles at night. They are both showing improvement. I also bought 2 deluxe pillows for myself and husband. He sweats a lot around the neck and head in bed. You could see the sweat marks on the pillowcase within a few days never mind the staining to pillows themselves eventually. I now change his pillowcase with the rest of bedding once weekly and there are no stains or sweaty smells from the pillowcase. I am also having a more comfortable sleep which I put down to the pillows. Would highly recommend. More expensive - yes - but will prove to be no more expensive in the end and anyway you can't put a price on this kind of comfort. zzzzzzz!”

“I purchased 2 pillows recently and can honestly say I wish I had bought them sooner. They are so comfortable I get a better nights sleep and it might be a coincidence by my husband no longer snores so loud. They keep your head cool even in the very hot weather of late. I was also impressed with the very fast delivery.”

“Bought the all seasons quilt pack, arrived very quickly,well packaged in individual bags. We've only tried the summer quilt at present but it is warm and cosy, the pillows are adjustable but they do flatten a little bit so its worth waiting a few days to see how they settle. The mattress topper has an elasticated skirt so stays on pretty good. The quilts attach together with lots of poppers so they will stay together well inside the cover, I like this and they are all very well made.. Very happy with my purchase and I would buy again for another bed as I'm sure these items will stand the test of time and won't need replacing for a few years.”

“Enjoy sleeping with wool duvet and pillows! Is the duvet slightly too big? It seems a bit big for the duvet cover and there's always a bit of duvet that's got nowhere to go and folds under leaving a hump on the bed!”

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this review. Our duvets are cut with such a process that they're incredibly accurate. Would you be able to measure the duvet to see if it's as sold? On occasion, duvet covers may shrink in the wash making the duvet appear to be oversized. If the duvet is indeed too big, don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll discuss this further.

“We recently purchased a mattress topper for our overly firm bed after seeing a review in a national newspaper. Although we paid more than we were anticipating, this purchase has been worth every penny and more! After one week of use our bed feels much more comfortable and our sleep quality has improved immeasurably. The other bonus is after 3 or 4 nights of exceptionally high night time temperatures the bed actually feels cooler. We had read that this should be this case but were sceptical, however it is true. If you have a similar situation do not hesitate to buy this product. We both wake up much more refreshed. Highly recommended! – Steve & Kay, East Yorkshire”
