Unprofessional poor customer service, "stay away" from this company . You sold a defective item to me and now I have to send it back at my cost to get refund. It is just ridiculous and unfair . Two professionals plumbers had come to same conclusion about this shower tray : there is a potrude around the hole that will create leaks.

Thank you for your recent feedback. We are sorry to hear about the defects in the items that were sent to you. The manufacturer is responsible for supplying working goods to us. It's obviously upsetting to hear this as we only want our customers to have a great service and receive the items in good working order. We really appreciate your custom and we thank you for shopping with us, however, the defects do originate from the manufacturer. Our part in this process is to get these items replaced quickly so you can get on with your bathroom. We can understand that this is frustrating and we hope that get everything sorted quickly.

Ordered a toilet and basin on the 25th November, I was called a few days later and advised that the basin was delayed by a week. Fine. I chased 10 days later and was informed that the basin now had an 8 week delay. I asked that the toilet be sent anyway, which they agreed. I called back a few days later to query an alternative basin, only to find out that the toilet had yet to be sent! I've been told it's now with their courier, and I will be contacted for delivery. It's now December 19th, I have three days off work to fit and finish my downstairs loo in time for Christmas, and I have neither a toilet or basin. I've called them 7 times this morning already to chase again, and they're now not answering the phone. As per another recent 1 star review: you have to chase orders, and nothing turns up!

Dreadful service. No communication. You have to chase orders. They don’t arrive. They do not supply as per advertised timelines. Referring my case to trading standards.

Thank you for your recent feedback. We're sorry that you've had to chase your order, we have a list of customers that we pro-actively call to give updates on their orders. We've received a high number of orders over this period and we're doing everything we can to keep as many customers up to date as possible. The delivery dates that are on our website provide an estimate for when items are likely to arrive, however, we cannot guarantee them. Under normal circumstances this would be the case but due to it being the holiday season we've had some delays. Initial delivery arrived damaged because the stone shower tray had been loaded onto a standard Euro pallet instead of a pallet which was larger then the actual tray size. I explained to Vicky that my builder could not work without the tray, I even asked to speak to a manager which was also declined. The replacement actually took longer then the first delivery despite BV receiving it within the same timing as the first tray. In summery, BV‘s reaction service to my issue which they caused was none existent/really disappointing...

Given this a very poor rating as it could not be used in my new shower room as it was not fixable to a stud wall. now too late to return it as package only just opened and more that 24 days have passed since received . .IF YOU HAD PUT IN THE ADVERT DETAILS THAT IT WAS NOT SUITABLE FOR A STUD WALL THEN I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT IT. SHAME AS IT LOOKS JUST WHAT I NEEDED.

Estimated 10 days for delivery, after waiting 15 I had to cancel 2 out of 3 items. Poor communication, had to ring and chase several times. Will not use site again.

Very poor service had to wait over 6 weeks for delivery after many phone calls kept forgetting to send it . It was still sitting in warehouse .Also use poor delivery company left on doorstep .

I placed my order on the 31st Oct, it was dispatched on the 6th on November but took over a week to be deliver. I ordered 3 x identical toilets. You only dispatched 1. I rang you for again and the order had been processed incorrectly. You then have eventually delivered the other 2 x toilets on the 26th of November. Guess what they are the incorrect product. I am still waiting for my order now the 28th of November. We run a building contractors I have never had to deal with a company like this in 20 years of running our business. I placed this order because you were price competitive to our local supplier but you have cost me £240 in wasted labour time, a complete disgrace. I understand you have to deal with birlington but I think I would have been better to order from them direct than going through uk bathrooms.

Dear Emily, we very sorry to hear about the issues with this particular delivery. It's actually the first time something like this has happened as we are at the mercy of the supplier here. We instigated a speedy delivery so we asked Burlington to deliver this order to you direct. In all fairness we ordered the good correctly through their system, however, it was a mistake made Burlington's end, so in fact you were dealing directly with Burlington. Really really bad service. Delivered damaged and left on the pavement in the middle of london where it inevitably got trashed. They didn't even ask if they could leave it unattended. Still waiting for the replacement which was supposed to come today and never arrived. No phone call. Rubbish

I placed 2 orders a day after each other. I phoned to ask if they could be consolidated into single delivery. The answer was yes. The second order arrived after about 10 working days, and, was 50% right and 50% wrong, the shower tray was 1700mm when I ordered 1400mm and the wrong type. This was replaced in about a week and the incorrect tray taken back. The first order was delivered about 4 days after the first order, so, maybe 15 working days from placing the order, again, 50% right, 50% wrong. The screen was as ordered the shower tray was the right size, but, wrong as the waste hole was in the wrong place. What is wrong with the warehouse system, 3 shower trays ordered 1 delivered correctly, 33% success rate, a business cannot survive with this level of incompetence. BTW, the delivery note was correct for the first tray, but, wrongly picked, and, wrong for the second tray wrongly delivered. On the positive side, Vicky Harrison was helpful all the way through, and, she responded positively to my frustrations. I now have nearly what I ordered, but, it was very slow from order placing to receipt, and, it was a lot of work from my side. I decided to accept the wrong tray with the waste hole in the wrong place as it was easier to cut the floor to accept the waste than send the tray back and wait for a new one. I've not had a great experience with Bathroom Village, I'm building a new house with 3 bathrooms and had a lot more to order, but, unfortunately I've gone elsewhere. Regards Peter

I ordered a new shower and firstly id wasn't the 7-10 delivery schedule it was more like 7 weeks. I received poor customer service as when the wrong item was delivered the staff weren't apologetic. They didn't offer me anything as a way to say sorry. Won't be using them again.

Bathroom village need to change the courier service they use, as the length of time it took for my item to arrive was ridiculous! The Bathroom village staff were helpful and apologetic but the whole service failed due to the courier. To add insult to injury I'm now awaiting a refund, which again is taking a ridiculously long time. At this stage I would not recommend this company.

Hi Thanks for your feedback we have recently changed courier's on the item that you ordered so the supplier now sends direct for us straight to the customer, this saves any delays coming to us and back out. I can see that the warehouse received your item back yesterday so this has been set up for a refund for you.

Awful experience trying to get a bathpanel! Arrived damaged no packing around to protect, rude staff and stop waiting 3 weeks later for them to pick up the 2 damaged ones...called on Thursday morning told they would call me back still waiting 48 hrs later! Did get delivery charge back but after months of issues, carpenter bills which could have been avoided if things were packaged properly didn't really match up to it! Would never buy from them again.

Damaged items which isn’t an issue as it happens. So far on 3rd replacement as replacement item sent out damaged and then following replacements completely wrong item. Hoping 4th time lucky.
