The Lazy AU post took my package to Caulfield Junction. Very inconvenient for a very senior person, been trying to ask for redelivery to Booran Rd PO but impossible to contact, online goes round like a mad dog chasing tail, Never shop with Dick Smith

An absolute joke,got sent the wrong item,didn't even match what was advertised,turns out they dont even know themselves what their suppliers are sending yet they are putting there name too it,have returned and still waiting for a refund,no phone contact to chase up my refund,a joke of a company,but they dont seem to care about all the complaints against them,they shouldnt be in business with their 100% online model,its pathetic

The absolute definition of sh t customer service. Actually worse than that - try contacting someone and they will take you on a journey of wasted time, AI chatbots and leave you traumatised. No respect given and zero empathy or accountability

Dick Smith refunds policy sucks!! They will only refund you a purchased price but not your delivery feed that you probably paid for $100+ if that a big item like massage chair, doesn't cost you a few dollars but talkabout $100+, that is your groceries funds. Watch out folks!

Worst experience- firstly couldn’t even pay, forced to use PayPal, kept erroring. Should’ve been an omen. Bought new iphone 17, came scratched in box. Sent 3 enquires for exchange/ return and had no reply. Would never buy from here or Kogan again.

Bought a mini video recorder and it wouldn't charge properly. Battery went low as soon as I took it off of the charger even if left overnight. I filled out the online form. The seller keeps requesting for photos and videos which I have uploaded. I have submitted my sixth file with the same information and I am waiting patiently. I have escalated to the Dick Smith team but haven't heard anything yet. Never buying from them again.

I was not delivered what I asked for (relating to a mobile phone purchase) and my queries have not been responded to 1 month after emailing Dick Smith. I have given up trying to rectify the problem and will never ever purchase again from this once trusted company. Terrible in so many ways.

Purchased dish washer tablets and was quite happy with the price. However on receiving the parcel I found out that the product is past the expiry date. It is probably OK though I am not sure what can go wrong with this type of products other that the tablets leaking. The annoying thing is that this was not mentioned on the website or anywhere during the purchasing process. Dick Smith nagging the customer all the time to register with the 129 dollars delivery service yet FORGETTING Or NEGLECTING to tell customer of the expired items. On top of all, when I put a review, my text all of the sudden disappeared and the webpage moved to the history page.

I placed an order through Dick Smith Marketplace on 27 October, containing multiple items. One item was delivered without issue. The other was returned by the marketplace seller claiming “wrong address,” despite being shipped under the same order to the same address. I contacted the seller via Dick Smith Marketplace in early November and formally accepted a replacement on 20 November, confirming my address in writing and even providing a Google Maps pin. After that confirmation, no action was taken through Dick Smith Marketplace for weeks. Weeks later, I was informed that I had “not responded,” which is factually incorrect and contradicted by the existing email thread. Since then, my follow-ups through Dick Smith Marketplace have gone unanswered and the replacement has still not been dispatched. This order has been unresolved for nearly three months. There has been no accountability from the seller and no effective oversight. A customer should not have to repeatedly chase a paid order or reconfirm the same information multiple times. This experience reflects extremely poor marketplace management by Dick Smith Marketplace and is completely unacceptable for a major retailer.

I purchased a laptop bag in October, used my bank details and then get charged $129 25 Dec 2025 ! Scam alert. I will never ever support Dick Smith again. How rude and dishonest to steal money from people who supported you previously. I want my refund!!!

Received wrong product, not what was advertised, TWICE! Required to send many emails, but just single emails on return, and no email train to complicate matters. 82 days later received refund. Now an annual subscription cost. Completely wrong on their part, requiring myself to cancel my credit card. Shame on Dick Smith,s TACTICS

I ordered Apple AirPod pro 2. I was surprised that Dick Smith sent it directly from Australia. The genuine Apple box was damaged at every corner. They had no additional packaging, just a plastic bag. The once white box was discoloured. One of the seals underneath the box had been deliberately broken. This was meant to be a present for my daughter. I couldn’t use this as a present for anyone. It arrived after 10 days and I didn’t have much time before Christmas so I had to buy directly from Apple and demand a full refund from Dick Smith, Dick Smith can’t be contacted unless it’s online where you send them a message and then wait. Days later I’m still waiting for a response. Will probably have two pairs in the house when Christmas comes next week. Avoid this shop. I’m deleting my account. Tried to add photos here but upload failed using iOS

Dick Smith/FIRST Membership is a scam. After purchasing a a $30 item as a gift, I was charged $129 a week later as a membership fee for FIRST. I do not recall signing up for this membership and I am very prudent with these things and the notice email was sent at time of 'renewal'. There is no refund for this fee even though it is cancelled. In my opinion a complete scam with no merit or use. A sad experience to have $130 stolen just before christmas. Should be ashamed of themselves.

my old massage seat pad died . Found a very reasonably priced replacement - with equally reasonable shipping cost. - on November 3rd. Got note to say it was on its way on the 4th and it was on my Christchurch doorstep on the 5th. Couldn't wish for better service! Really good as I am 90 with a back issue that needs a daily massage.

I saw a phone on the Dick Smith web site for $187 and when the debit went through I was charged an extra $30. I messaged them 3 times and never received a reply. Never again, I give up. Let this be a warning to future customers.

Dick smith is a con . This membership is never wanted , tried to take $99 from me ....I canceled it as soon as I saw the dirty trick that they were trying to play . So bad I will never buy any thing from dick smith again , no customers service number to ring ,,,the web site gives you the run around . If You want a nightmare , problems, drams and happy to loss your money ...then shop dick smith ....my birthday wish this year is for these guys to go bankrupt!!!!!

Brought a keyboard and I fell victim to the dicksmith first scam, I didn't even know it was a thing but now I've been charged for &129 for a member I didn't want, I've been trying to cancel and find a Contact number but it's just impossible, everyone please be aware when you buy something - it's not free postage your sighing up for a $129 bill a fortnight later, can someone help???
