“Poor communication about first membership.
I thought I could utilise a 14 days free for my first purchase and I read the fine print. Then all of sudden my PayPal account was charged for $39.99. There was no communication from DickSmith to inform that this was going to occur and I was not given the opt out ability.
Underhanded behaviour!”
“The gadget I've ordered took 3 weeks to arrive (R36S Retro Handheld Video Game Console). When it arrived, it wouldn't work beyond turning on and returning an error message. The customer service took ages to reply by email and it took me multiple attempts to reach them. When they replied, they requested I post the item back at my cost to their third party seller (in China!!) for them to assess it and process a refund. It has been 2 months so far dealing with the customer service and no refund in sight.”
“Dick smith is a scam. I live in Auckland. They accidentally sent my package to Christchurch. They are demanding I pay a second time for shipping saying I didn’t write the correct address (I did, it’s in the dispatch details). This company should be investigated by consumer protection. Absolute scum.”

“I am soo disappointed with the customer service provided , I have sent numerous emails & received nothing back. They also make it very difficult to return a product with the only option to submit a ticket on the help desk & what a surprise no reply. Would definitely not recommend.”

“Bought various item on black friday, 3 tvs, 3 beds, 3 mattresses, 3 tv supports, 4 air cons and a oven. 2 out of the 3 mattresses, the 3 tv supports, and 1 bed never showed up, and 1 email back after 3 weeks trying contact. Email did not help at all. I asked to cancel the missing item and i ve been told that it would no be possible because it has already been dispatched. But i already got 2 calcelations from the currier as they say when they go collect the goods from dicksmith warehouse, the product is not there. I do no recommend buying there due to the zero customer service”

I bought a TV during the Black Friday Sale. I never received it. I have sent many many emails to them, because you can't call them They have not responded to any of my emails except with an automated message. I cannot get any help.
I am sure they sent it to an old address but I informed them of my new address. I also changed it in my account. Nobody probably read this.
I am so angry and upset.

I have painful osteoarthritis and do not drive. It is hard for me to get around. I cannot get around to look for it.
