“NEVER EVER BUY FROM DICK SMITH AGAIN. For a big household name like Dick Smith, their advertising is deceitful and misleading; Avoid at all cost! I've told all my friends and relatives not to buy from them as well. Its so easy to miss a line in their long flashy looking ad and get caught up in a nightmare after sale. Their respond to email time is atrocious after sale! Plus they wrote in their emails, "At Kogan.com, we......" I purchased from Dick Smith Website, a supposedly more trustworthy brand, not Kogan. So Kogan is hiding behind Dick Smith??? It seems like such a big scam, and we feel very cheated!
They have an Apple Iphone 15 Pro for sale on their website at the moment, but it's an international model that doesn't support Face time audio. They conveniently left out INTERNATIONAL MODEL wording in the title and put the description somewhere else (to appear legit)- buyers mostly focus on the titles of the items for sale, plus consumers tend to believe if the product is for sale in Australia then its deemed suitable for Australian use (we use Facetime in Australia).Their sales techniques are so deceptive that it's very un-Australian. We thought Dick Smith always stand for the great Australian value. What a shame. We will take this matter further, although we might not get anywhere, we truly hope others won't make the same mistakes we made and got burnt like this. Very unfair.
The packaging box was dirty, with foreign language printed on it, we were suspicious straight away. We feel so stupid about this whole thing. Till this day, we still haven't turned on the phone yet. We are extremly upset and disappointed. NEVER AGAIN BUYING ELECTRONICS ON LINE, NOT FROM DICK SMITH ANYWAY.”

Signed me up to membership even though I did not ask. Contacted via their phone number and it just prompts you to contact via their website, then hangs up.
Trying to get my invoice but can't as verification emails do not get sent. I tried dozens of times. Checked spam folder and my IT company to ensure it is not being blocked. It's simply not being sent.”

I'm making a report to consumer affairs, they stole $129 from my Paypal account after I bought a cheap item worth $25. I did not authorise the stolen funds, I di not authorise a payment plan into the future from my account by their third parties, I do not authorise that they on-sell my data, the DICK S must immediately refund my money. I will NEVER BUY anything from this parasitic corporation that steals from individual Australians ever again, I advise, follow suit.”
