“Fell for the pre-ticked $99 FIRST membership scam after purchasing an item for $10, no response from customer service. T&c s are dodgey, can cancel at any time but only during the 14-day trial period, once they have your $99, they won't refund. All emails about the trial period ending went into my spam folder. Have contacted the ACCC but I doubt I'll see my money again. Definitely will never buy from this website ever again.”
“I recently made a purchase for TV stands. The TV stand is garbage and not what they claim it to be plus I have been charged $99 for a membership I never wanted. I have tried to reach out and contact them but cannot as all phone numbers lead to answering services. Not only are they a rip-off they are gutless. I have written them an email if they do not reply I will find a phone number mark my words”

I tried to return footwear for exchange of the size above (worn only to test size). Still in the process of getting an exchange or store credit 2 months later. Absolutely deplorable.

“Had my G70 Genesis towed in on Dec. 12th for slow acceleration. Was told the part was on back order after three weeks. I called the fourth week several times no response. So I went up there to discover my car had been ready for two days. Get my car ready to drive away and discover my front wind shield was cracked. The young man that was assisting me calls Aaron the manager who tells him to tell me to call my insurance company. Do not waste your time with this dealership they are HORRIBLE!!”
“Total sneaky Kogan sign up scam, ripped me of $99, when I was purchasing a $10.99 item from Dick. These thieves will do it again automatically in a years time if you don’t cancel. “Order was placed 24 November it hasn’t been received for Christmas! I tried to contact them on numerous occasions via email to check the tracking number. Australia post has said it hasn’t been delivered.”

I have put complaint into Australian consumer affairs. Avoid at all costs. Absolutely terrible experience. No response to my request for a refund from dick smith.”
“Dick Smith should be ashamed of himself selling his name to a company that is stealing from customers. I bought a bed and mattress on the Dick Smith website expecting the same standard of service his name is reputed to provide however the bed base came without the mattress. I have tried to follow it up with no response or follow up and no one to speak on the phone about this issue. Furthermore to find out that I have been signed to a $99 membership without my consent. I will be complaining to consumer affairs. I will telling everyone to stay away from this company.”
