“I booked a ticket that offered a discount if I did a 30 day RISK FREE Prime Trial. NO SURPRISES. I entered all my previous and present account info into THEIR SYSTEM. They specifically stated no charge until 9/27 unless I canceled. They also did not charge when I paid the ticket. In addition they also sent an email stating the memebership would start 9/27 unless I canceled.
Upon checking my account they DID charge $69.99 that day. When I called they said I had used a Prime 2 years ago but their system does not recognize the info until we PAY. At NO TIME was there an indication when I made the purchase and signed in and verified all my customer information ON THEIR SITE IN MY ACCT did they indicate I did not qualify. They sent ME the pop up offering the trial.
After many many round abouts they now will refund $16 since I got a ticket "discount". I asked for an invoice that shows they paid the carrier $127 for a $79 ticket but they cannot. It is now a $53 "service fee" to purchase the $79 ticket and return to me only $16. I would NEVER have done that had they simply said, shown, informed that I did not qualify. They did the exact opposite and AFTER said Oops.
This company is GOOD at
stealing and should be
ashamed. I have dealt with a lot of companies and this one by far is the absolute worst. All their customer service is in India and they could care less that they are wrong and read from a script. Once they steal your money they will give you every excuse to keep it and laugh about it. Blatant fraud.”
“I booked the ticket for my son through eDreams from Paris to NY with Norse Atlantic, but at the airport, they refused him for boarding because he’s 13. EDreams said they take no responsibility even though I have provided birthday and other info to them during the booking. Booking went through with no warning, they are just collecting their money. Now I think of it, they probably won’t even allow for full refund, had we known it earlier.
I would avoid both eDreams and Norse Atlantic at all cost.”
“Thieves, avoid. Please read the newspapers. Do not fall for this Scam Company. You have ZERO PROTECTION!!!!! Stole €2,120 from elderly couple almost 80 years old. My partners father had to cancel next day due to heart problem. We had paid insurance with them aswell. They literally took the lot!! Unreal. Incident occurred last year. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY HAVE NO EMPATHY AND THEY ARE 100% RUTHLESS!!! Now because of my negative review, they have just reached out for "More Information" EDreams did not want to know anything regarding this case prior to my negative review. I am prepared for more "STONEWALLING" by EDreams. Once THEY GET - YOUR MONEY, it's NEVER coming back!!!! Sort this out and I will ammend my review(s), on Trustpiliot, and an any and all other Apps and websites, accordingly, and in the interest of fairness.”
“Edreams will not refund my money. When we had a world wide outage July 17th I was unable to travel. Edreans toñd me I had to contact the airlines directly and the hotel directly to get a refund. I did. Now they are saying that the hotel is non refundable and I have to wait a month until they get money back from the airlines to refund me. Horrible greedy scammers.”
“Customer service phone number is +44 20 7660 2213. I post it here because it requires advanced investigation skills in case of emergency such as rebookings. Which, just notice, will not be handled by the agency. I had my flight cancelled and the day after on edreams still the reservation appeared as ongoing and completed. I spent 2 days over the phone, I had to send them the cancellation proof received by email and the optioned flight agreed with the flight company; the agency denied to issue the electronic ticket for my rebooking (as I said everything had been already handled by the flight company; edreams was just supposed to accept the flight change and they kept changing my flight plans. I managed to request my rebooking ticket directly to the flight company after hours of pushing and chasing. Extremely stressful situation: DO NOT BOOK TROUGH THE WEBSITE.”
“Scammers - They showed the price in dollars and charged me pounds
Additionally they showed me 6 bags while booking and then that changed to 5 bags and the 6th at a cost of 80$ but when I tried to buy the 6th bag it showed at 250$”
“Booked a return flight to Toyko with insurance just incase of a required change of flight time. Which we needed due to airline moving schedule. eDreams organised an alternative flight without much issue (albeit terrible communication) which you have to pay in full and reclaim via the insurance. "BUT" eDreams will not supply an invoice for you to make a claim with "THEIR" insurance. after dozens of requests and getting in touch with human via webchat (twice) who insisted it would be sorted and had escalated it to the highest level "NOTHING" so it looks like I will not get a refund. Please beware when booking with insurance.”
“Hello,
We bought 4 round trip flight tickets for WestJet through Edreams. When we made the purchase, Edreams offered an (Econo) status online, which allowed for one (1) carry-on bag and one (1) personal item. However, after receiving the confirmation from WestJet, we were informed that we were downgraded to (UltraBasic) status, which only allows for one (1) personal item.
We provided a screenshot of the website showing the carry-on luggage allowance, but they continued to deny our claim, and calling the luggage a personal item, leaving us with an additional cost of $50 for each carry-on per trip, totaling about $400 for us.
All we are asking for is to receive what was initially offered and paid for, without any extra charges. Unfortunately, they have ceased communication with us.
To all travelers, please be aware of this company. I'm not sure if eDreams is intentionally misleading their clients or if changing the flight category after the purchase is part of some sort of scheme.

“Total scam site. Booked a flight with them at $110 as it was the lowest advertised fare, then few days later they took an extra $99 out of my account. The phone number they give you in Australia is disconnected and then don’t respond to any emails. Had to get my credit card company to reverse the charge. Never use them!”
“eDreams is not a reliable company. Don't buy any ticket or order things from the website. I paid more than $2,000 for flight and flight protection plan. The route was very bad after reviewing the detail. I decided to cancel. Email received confirmation of cancellation right away. However, nearly one month later, eDreams website still showed the cancellation had been submitted to airline, refund was in process. I contacted the airlines representatives, they confirmed no cancellation notification submitted by eDreams.com regarding to my flight. No refund received.”
“ATTENTION customers!!! eDreams is a scam company! They use customer's credit card number to charge them for services (annual subscription, etc.) that they never bought! Beware of them, because if you do the mistake to buy something from them, then they use your credit card number for further transactions without any authorization! Stay away from this company!
Like many customers I bought an airport ticket and by that time I was unknowingly signed up to a prime subscription which costs 65 Euros. I find it out one month later when my credit card bill was issued , but they refused to refund because my claim wasn't within 14 days. This is ridiculous!”
“I am writing to share a complaint regarding a highly unsatisfactory and deceptive experience I have encountered with your company.
On late June 2023, I purchased a flight through eDreams. During the booking process, I was presented with what appeared to be a promotion related to the flight I was purchasing. There was no clear indication that by accepting this promotion, I would be automatically enrolled in your "Prime" service. As a result, I unknowingly subscribed to a service I neither wanted nor needed.
To my shock and dismay, I recently discovered that eDreams has charged me a fee of 69.99 euros for this "Prime" service, which I was unaware of and have never utilized. There was no prior notice or reminder of the upcoming charge, which further exacerbates the issue.
Upon contacting your customer service team, I was informed that eDreams would not be refunding the 69.99 euros. This response is wholly unacceptable, considering that the subscription was unsolicited and the charge unauthorized.
The manner in which this "Prime" service was disguised as a promotion is misleading and unacceptable. Furthermore, the refusal to issue a refund for a service that was never used is unjust and contrary to fair business practices.”
“Biggest scam. Booked my flights, paid and account been debited. Tickets not received an apology email and after 1 day still the same with no refund. Airline company also didnt receive the payment. Money is gone. Big fraud dont buy from thia company.”
“They meant to send me a voucher they send me a fake one .I keep calling to get the new one for almost 3 weeks but simply they are scammers .
DONT TOUCH”
“edreams has been the worst booking platform my husband and i had to deal with in our entire lives. please do not ever use their platform. we were a little hesitant to use it at first but what happened to us was a horrible never-ending nightmare.
we’re writing this review to warn everyone who consider booking through them because we don’t wish that you experience what we did.
my husband and i are relocating to Manchester and we booked a flight for Singapore Airlines through edreams. As you can see from the screenshot, we topped up SGD $580.30 for extra baggage, which including the standard airline allowance, would bring our luggage allowance to a total of 120kg.
after booking this, we noticed edreams got our first names in the booking wrong. so we wrote in to have it changed to tally with our passports, just in case we could not fly.
they took 3-4 weeks to rectify this, which required them to unbook and rebook us on the Singapore Airlines flight. we accepted this. overall, this lengthy process left us frustrated but we were glad it’s resolved.
however, little did we know the worst was yet to happen. when we got to the airport for check-in, we realised the process of edreams unbooking and rebooking our flight caused our additional luggage top-up of $580.30 NOT to be captured in Singapore Airlines system.
eDREAMS FORGOT TO INCLUDE THE EXTRA BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE FOR OUR FLIGHT. this means we needed to top up luggage allowance but to match what we are missing, that would cost is a USD 980 (SGD $1,324.85). before paying this amount, we called edreams, who acknowledged their error in including our additional luggage paid and said we can go ahead with the USD 980, which they would refund us later on.
it’s been 1.5mths of back and forth with their customer service, countless phone calls and live chats on their site. but they kept putting us on hold. our phone bills have also gone through the roof thanks to all the calls with them.
it’s amazing how they scammed us of not just the top up we had to pay at the airport, but also the initial $580.30 worth of baggage, which they made a mistake of not including. It’s as if they are wearing us out so we’d give up one day and they wouldn’t need to refund us.
please save yourselves and DO NOT BOOK THROUGH EDREAMS EVER. just buy your tickets straight from the airline!!”
“Scammers and liers don't want to change my flight. Lying how they passed the request to the airline and that they need to confirm it. But I reached out to the airlines and they told me that it's all on their side.”
“Absolutely horrible, please run!
Absolutely worst experience. Months later and I am still trying to contact them about a refund for a booking made by one of their agents on the wrong date. I ended up having to book at the airport on the day I was supposed to be travelling.
The gist: I booked with eDreams to go from Austria to Norway because I didn't know any better. As I was in Austria I noticed that it might be a little late so I made a booking change request to go on an earlier flight. I was then told via email that they had to call me to make the change (which in this day and age is a little archaic). Now, keep in mind they are in a different time zone so they ended up calling me at 2am when I was out with my friends. They told me it would cost another $200 to which I hesitated but agreed. A couple of days later I was getting ready to head to the airport at the time of my change request and looked up the booking - they had made it for June and not for March!! I had to hurry and book a flight directly for the time I had to be there. Absolute mess.
Fast forward to being in Norway, I contact eDreams to cancel the June one and get a refund (it was their fault after all!). I am told that they need 10 days to review - which again, I was like, that's long but OK.
10 days come and go. I contact them again. No one had made any notes on my case and I had to reiterate the entire thing. Turns out there was no escalation. I wait another week and contact them again and they tell me to wait a little longer.
Another 2 weeks go by and I contact them again. I have an hour and half chat with one of their agents and then he closes the chat and I have to go through it all over again with another agent! He then tells me that they will give me a call back in 48 hours..
And.. then I wait 48 hours and no one calls.
At this stage this is still unresolved and I am on the phone with them now and I have been on hold for 20 minutes while they are 'checking'. Keep in mind that we are talking about over $1,000 for a flight I am not going to make! Sidenote: I live in Australia so it's not really like I can be like alright let's have a quick vacation either.
Absolutely waste of time, money and brain power trying to deal with this company”
