“First visited here a few days ago we was asked to return and given 50% off of our next main meals as a sorry and asked that we would hopefully return again after serving us uncooked/raw food, we returned today as a birthday treat with our children only for the child's meal to be full price with no drink or desert included, we also had to return the bacon and cheese loaded fries twice due to the chips being cold then the bacon not cooked and stone cold, it was literally raw bacon on chips, it was disgusting. Our 9 year old boy asked the waitress if we could have the happy birthday for myself as it was my birthday, they played it 3 times for others but not once for us he was actually sad that they didn't listen, considering when booking online for the reservation days previous in the special requests section I put mum's birthday they could have at least tried to or at least answered my child other than a maybe later and walked off. We were politely asked to give them another go by their waitress Paige.V on our last visit, she was so apologetic I honestly thought it was a one off but after the attitude and lack of cooked and warm food we shall not be returning, such a shame as we regulary have meals out as a family but this place by far I can honestly say needs new staff and new chefs.”
“We have been for lunch at cottonwood on 15 December a realy lovely meal and lovely staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive especially to my granddaughter well done and it was very busy you should be proud We all enjoyed it very much”

We were unlucky with our waitress, they didn't all seem to be as passive aggressive as she was.
Agree with other comment about the pizzas they were pretty poor. A frozen supermarket pizza would have been much nicer.”
“We were told they had no tables even though the restaurant was less than half full. We were told they had reservations but it was a Sunday afternoon so didn't seem plausible. Won't eat at this franchise again”
“This used to be our main choice of restaurant if we were eating out however our last couple of visits (in the Ashton and Denton branches) have been extremely disappointing - on both occasions we just left after the starter. In Ashton we were due to go to the cinema however went in and got sat down 90 minutes before the film began. It took 25 minutes for someone to come over and ask what we wanted to drink!! Another 15 mins for our order to be taken - it was that slow we actually asked how long food would take. We ordered a starter and a main meal however 20 minutes before the film was due to start we were still waiting for our main!! So we had to cancel it (by the way in all this time we hadn't been asked if we wanted anymore drinks - we had to ask). In Denton we ordered a starter and a main however the dough balls we ordered for starters were so hard again we cancelled our main meal. We are so disappointed especially when we used to be regulars however it will take us a while before we chose Frankie and Benny's to eat again.”
“Went to Basildon for Breakfast, had waffles with fruit sent waffles back twice they were cold, gent's loo bucket under urinal, light out is disabled loo, used to be lovely there gone down hill will not go back, expensive.”

Terribly wrong. Frankie and Benny will be turning in their graves. Service poor. Too long to wait for a table”
