They sent a faulty phone It was returned to them and they claimed that the fault was due to misuse. The phone was faulty when it was delivered by Handtec. Handtec have refused to repair, replace or refund the order. Buyer beware!

NO STARS!! DO NOT UNDER ANY circumstances deal with this company!! They offered me £271 for a virtually unused iPad Pro. They wanted everything, so I sent it in the brand new box with all accessories. It wasn't an easy process to send it to them. On receipt they didn't contact me until I chased them! I eventually found out they were reducing the offer to £150. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM because you won't get the best price from the comparison website. Once they receive your device they will say it has faults! I demanded return and eventually all I got was the iPad covered in stickers, no box, no accessories. Of course these were conveniently lost! I only got the iPad back after threatening to go to Trading Standards. It's a total scam, DO NOT believe any of the "good" reviews on their website.

Wish I’d seen these review beforehand. Again went with Comparison site offer. Perfect iPhone 7. Luckily I took pictures of it from every angle before I sent it. They reduced the offer on receipt by almost half, due to a cracked and scratched screen....sent me images to prove it, didn’t even look like my phone! Have requested they return it to me, I’d rather have no cash than let them away with that dishonesty.

Simple method for selling my old phone. I was offered what I was quoted for. The last time I used a similar company they were not as easy to deal with as this firm. I've nothing to complain or offer improvement.

They actually don't even deserve a star. It is an absolute scam. I've sent my device to them including the case for protection during transport. They've evaluated my device initially for £120 amount which is why I chose to send it to them. However when the device arrived the so called 'support team' or whatever their names are, evaluated at half the price they initially quoted because of 'bent housing'. I am still laughing about it as the device is in perfectly good condition, had not a scratch on it and there was definitely nothing 'bent'. So I've asked them to return the device, and of course when it was returned the screen had a couple of chips on the screen (must've annoyed them really badly) and the case in which it was originally sent did not come with it. Furthermore they cannot return the case because (this is a proper ripoff) in their terms and conditions they state that if the accessories have not been requested they will not send them back. So technically they can make a couple of £ by reselling them. There is no way in getting in touch with upper management, and by that I mean the director of the company listed on UK companies house - as there is no email provided except the one for the 'support team'. I am never ever using this company and I will be reporting them further. I am surprised no action has taken about this before as it seems that many others have gone through the same scam process

I sent an excellent condition unlocked iPhone XR to them for 436 buy, the next day they said a small scratch on the back so reduced to 240 I complained and said it’s a scam my phone is perfect they then offered 300 magically, I have requested 400 or phone back simple- I would not use this company as they hook you in by good offer then try to screw you over.

Oh gosh, I'm kicking myself I didn't do my research and went with Handtec as they were offering a few pence more for my phone than the rest. My experience is entirely consistent with everyone on here - they get your device and knock money off their offer. Like we've not all got better things to do than deal with cheap operators like this...

Had the best offer on comparison sites so sent my mobile off. It was in perfect condition and I have proof of that it took them 3 days to get back to me after they received the phone and they said they had found the screen don't work and is burnt and the back is smashed, I asked for pictures of this and they sent me a picture of a phone that wasn't even mine neve remind the same colour, they offered me over £150less than the original offer. I would deffo advise people to stay away from anything to do with this company. I'm still going through issues with them and have contacted trading standards for them to sort this out.

Sent my phone into them in perfect working order with very minor scratches to the screen which you would expect from a used phone. They emailed me back saying that they wasn’t going to offer me the original price due to the minor scratches to the phone, Ā£20 less. I had looked at other websites online and they had options to select for slight scratches and when selected there was no change to the price offered (mazuma). So if you want to be offered a lesser price than there competitors then go ahead. But in future I’ll just stick to mazuma who I normally deal with.

Oh my god AVOID! This company are saying I have not turned ā€œfind my iPhoneā€ off. I have got FOUR screen shots of proof from Apple from 4 different people saying it is 100% turned off. This company now want Ā£30 to return my phone! I honestly would advise anyone to AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS AWFUL COMPANY.

Please do not ever use this company. Like everyone else, I sent my perfect phone to them (not even a scratch) and received an email from them saying it was cracked and offered me much less money than they had quoted. They are now sending me a damaged phone back (that’s if I even receive it). I really hope all the employees of this company enjoy going to work every day and get paid a wage for effectively stealing off innocent customers who send their phones to them in good faith. From reading all of the other reviews on here, something needs to be done to stop this company doing what they are doing, surely this can’t be legal?

This company is an absolute con when it comes to buying refurb phones. They quote one price and make up and another when they receive the phone. Avoid at all costs. If they can't get you to agree to their price, they charge £30 to return your device which is a rip off

Sent my phone off in the sales postage pack I had sent out to me. Receipt of the phone was acknowledged & now payment is being refused. Handtec are claiming a mix up with some orders and are not moving on this whatsoever. Poor e-mail etiquette to compound things... Very poor experience indeed, use another company!

Got an initial quote of £330 pound for my device . Sent the item and they are now telling me it is network locked even though I have personally used different sim cards without any issues in the device and state because of this they could only offer me £100 . I now have to pay them £30 for admin to get my own phone back again. Avoid at all costs

AVOID AS A SELLEE AT ALL COSTS! Got a quote of Ā£166 for my iPhone 7 Plus. It was in perfect condition having been in a case with screen protector from Day 1. On receipt they claimed it had ā€˜small chips’ to the casing and the battery needed replacing. They dropped the quote to Ā£140. I asked for photos of the damage. Next thing, they pay the original Ā£166. Scammers!
