I went into the McDonalds on 30th August to buy a breakfast meal for myself and my partner. I am getting over a broken leg and having to walk with one crutch, which made this a bit tricky. When I ordered the meal I asked if there was anything available which was vegetarian and the member of staff asked the manager for clarification. She said the egg muffin which he verified. However he was unhelpful to her and was clearly irritated by the question. I ordered other things as well including a drink. I waited and was called and left the shop with the bag. I got back to my partner in the car to find there was no drink. I had to return which in itself was hard as walking is not easy at the moment and i was frustrated by that. It was difficult to speak to a member of staff but I ended up speaking to the manager as he was the only person available. As it happens the drink was on the side waiting so I knew I had not made a mistake when ordering. Instead of apologising the just handed me the drink. I then had to ask him to put it into the bag for ease of carrying. He did this begrudgingly and still no comment although he could clearly see I was going to struggle otherwise. I then told him calmly that it was difficult to come back to collect the drink to which he just turned away. There were 3 opportunities to apologise in that conversation but I did not get a single one. He was actually quite rude. I found the whole experience horrible and will not be using that McDonald again. I had a more polite and helpful experience from a member of the public who kindly held a door open for me.

Hair in the burger, undercooked chips and ordered a raspberry ripple iced drink. There was a half empty one stood on the counter when I ordered. Instead of making mine they handed me the half empty one. Also asked to wait 7 minutes for an apple pie.

Incompetent staff

The experience was less than satisfactory by any means. I was sat with my two younger sisters, aged 9 and 12, and my boyfriend, aged 16. My Mother also accompanied us but had to go and pay for two additional meals to bring home for my Father and brother. Whilst waiting, we had balloons and wanted to see if our voices actually reached a higher pitch. We did so only to have the manager approach us in a rude and inappropriate manner. Nowhere in the restaurant did it state anything about not inhaling the helium from the balloons. As he approached he ordered us to get up and leave, in a rude tone in front of two relatively young girls who were obviously uncomfortable with the situation. He didn't give us any second chances even when I explained that we needed to wait for our Mother and not stand outside in the cold. We hadn't even the chance to explain that we didn't know this was allowed. Not only this, but the order was incorrect to start with and the staff are incompetent all too often. What's more, the amount of noise made by our small group was minimal; no one was sat too close to us. A group louder than us was sat two seats away, and yet nothing was said to them despite screaming, shouting and pouring source all over the table. Despite being a fast food chain, you are still expected to remain professional throughout even if you are not having the best of days. I personally think that you should be especially thoughtful when speaking with children. Experiences of the such can seriously damage such things as confidence and deeply embarrass them. I hope to never experience this again. All in all, I am stop in shock with the lack of politeness our group was treated with.
