“I have been wanting a Dale of Norway Peace sweater for so long so this year I decided to splurge a little. What a lovely treat. The sweater is absolutely beautiful and fits perfectly, very flattering. Size,,,,,I am usually between a medium and a large (8-10 in numbers) I am 5' 6" and about 165 lbs. , depending on the brand and how I want it to fit. Based on the other reviews, I ordered the large. Perfect. Just enough room in the sleeves so you are not struggling to get it on or off. Gently tapered at the waist and falls at the lower hip level. I could wear a thin layer underneath such as a camisole or turtleneck base layer. It does not look boxy. Fantastic with jeans or black leggings and boots. With respect to customer service, I was missing a small item in the order. I called and they could not have been nicer. Order was immediately rectified. Will order from them again, maybe even treat myself to another color in the future ;)”

“I am very pleased with my mittens from Sweater Chalet! The 2 pairs of mitts are high quality and the service has been superb. I received a phonecall from the Sweater Chalet when one colour I wanted wasn't available--a very nice phonecall apologizing for this issue, which wasn't a big deal to me. And I was also offered a slightly heavier mitt for the black pair I ordered which was a nice addition. The mitts took a little while to get to me, but I live in Canada, so that's understandable. When they arrived, they were in a cute Christmas-themed mailing envelope (December 2020), had 2 little bows included in the bag, plus 2 little containers of Eucalan for washing the mitts. All were small, but very nice touches. Thank you very much! I highly recommend the Sweater Chalet!”

“I have the dashstein 4-ply mittens and toque, they are high quality products that are still not showing wear after 4 years of use. I’m buying a dashstein sweater and socks from them right now as every time I throw the mitts and hat on I wish I had a sweater and socks of the same quality. I will mention that I use a light alpaca mitten under the dashstein mitt in -20c and colder - and if it’s windy I throw an unlined leather mitten over top. Luxury winter wear.”

“I've been very happy with everything I have purchased from Sweater Chalet. I've ordered from them around the holidays every year for the past few years, and each item has made a wonderful gift. My Ojbro gloves are the softest and warmest I own. More than just the wools, Sweater Chalet has wonderful customer service people working there. I've emailed them a few times asking for opinions on what to order or asking for help getting something extra special, and every time they've been able to go above and beyond to help me. Overall, I've been very happy with every order from Sweater Chalet and I'll continue to do so as long as someone in my family needs a new sweater or gloves!”

“I purchased the New Zeeland opossum gloves in tan/beige. As a Reynauds Syndrome sufferer, I am looking for something to keep my fingers warm. The softness of the gloves is wonderful and they seem to keep my fingers warm so far. The fit is also good.”

“I like the gloves for their warmth, fit and design. Unfortunately the leather doesn’t work to use with my iPhone. I still need to take gloves off to use the touchscreen on my iPhone and with Raynauds, my fingers do get a reaction from the cold.”

“I love my limited 4ply merino wool Dachstein hat. It is simply magical. It is 100% wool, and warm and versatile. At first when I opened it I thought it was too big. Now, I like that it is thick and I can wear it flopped back and it still holds it shape like an elf or a wizard. It can also double up and wear it like a watch cap for very cold days. This is the best knit hatand will last me for a long time. It goes good with my norwegian sweater knit by my bestemor. Thank you.”

“Not what I was expecting.. as I thought I would receive the picture of the taupe color a darker color sock with a lighter color heel and toe .. but got a light gray color sock with no contrast in heel and toe ... so I was disappointed... but I will wear them and they will be warm in boots no hard feelings ... thanks”

“This was my second experience with Swaeter Chalet - I buoght my daughter a Dachstein Blaze orange cap for Christmas about five years ago. How she lost a blaze orange hat is beyond me but she did. Creatfallen, she admitted that her beloved hat for birdwatching, snowshoeing, and general winter weather wear was gone. Sweather Chalet has the same hat - they delivered it promtly - it is identical to the last one - and has arrived in thim for her birthday. She better not lose this one!”

“Thank you so much for the 4-ply socks! They keep my feet warm at night so I can sleep. They work better than any socks I've had before. I have poor circulation and even in Ugg boots and socks and other layers my toes are always freezing. They're not freezing anymore, and I don't have to wear boots to bed anymore!”
