Used to love this shop but things have gone badly downhill. Went to TK maxx brixton today with a view to spending at least £500 as I've done no clothes shopping for a year and need plenty of things. When i wanted to try items on I found the changing rooms were closed. So i did what everyone does, I found a mirror and started trying the items on over my clothes. A masked apparation at least 1/3 my age came rushing over to me and scloded me, telling me i was not allowed to try clothes on. Meanwhile in the shoe department, people were trying on shoes! The woman told me i had to "buy everything" I wanted to try on, then lug everything home, try it on there and then make another trip back to return what didn't fit. Uh uh, I don't think so kiddo. I'm a budy professional and don't have time for that. So TK MAXX lost out on several hundred pounds today, that exludes the thousands I won't be spedning there in future.

No response to my complaint since 31st Oct 2022. Good evening It is with great regret that I feel the need to complain, however I feel compelled to inform you of the dreadful customer shopping experience at one of your flagship stores in Birmingham city centre. I am a regular customer of your Midlands stores and in particular the Bull Ring store mainly due to the VIP/Gold Label section. Saturday the 29th October I purchased £578 worth of clothes. I picked up a jumper marked up on a red price ticket at £65, I tried it on amongst other clothes and decided to purchase it. When I got to the till a very pleasant young lady said I think there is something wrong with the price so she went off with the jumper to find a manager, a female manager took some time at the opposite end of the tills I guess to do some checks, when the female manager came back, she just handed it to the advisor and said No it’s £79.99! No apology and no eye contact, just walked off, (as if to say - take it or leave it!) The young lady did apologise and asked if I still wanted it, I said yes as I liked it. Whilst she was ringing the items through, I asked the lady to please double check all the security tags are removed, as on 3 previous visits I was stopped at the exit door due to the antitheft devices/tags setting off the alarm.. Once I had paid, I asked if I could leave the bag at the store and collect it later as it was quite big and heavy, she said no problem and gave me a collection ticket to return later that evening which I did. As I continued my day in Birmingham, I stopped a bistro bar and happened to look through my receipt (something I never normally do): To my shock I noticed the till advisor had not only taken the £79.99 but she had also rung up the £65 and not deleted it, so basically, I paid £65.00 more than I should have!!. I went back to the store to collect my bag and asked for a manager, this time I got a gentleman named James, he apologised and sorted a refund for the £65.00. I also mentioned the situation regarding the price mix up earlier and I said this has not been a nice customer experience at all, to which he agreed and said he would look into it!! I then proceed to get my bag of goods and leave the store only for the alarm to off as there was still a security tag attached to some clothing, I was then humiliated as the security officer hailed for a manager and I had to go back to the tills again and this time have the entire contents emptied out while they checked the receipt and every item of clothes for a further security tag, which had been left on one item! All in all, a truly dreadful experience I sure you would agree. I await your response with anticipation Regards

TK Maxx now using very unethical tactics to get you to spend your money, namely, flagging items as 'low stock' or 'only 3 left' etc in an effort to bounce you into buying what you have in your love list or cart. You buy them only to discover that TK Maxx are telling fibs and that the items are still available and nowhere near low stock - quite the opposite. They do this all the time now especially when they post the new stuff in the morning. Also be wary of the 'skincare' they sell from unknown brands especially if its marked down from a very high price to 10 or 20 quid. I did some research into the brands and they are not legit; and thats putting it mildly. The pricey jewellry is also very, shall we say...questionable in terms of its authenticity. Is it really 14ct gold? Hmm... The whole shopping experience is increasingly dodgy..theyre getting desperate.

Unfortunately had a very poor experience on my first visit to the store at Braybrook today. No shopping bags available to purchase (shortage) and would not allow us to use their trolleys to take goods upto our car. Very callously the supervisor and another staff memer repeatedly told us "not our problem" and that we have to go and get a "Coles" trolley and then swap all their goods into those ones as we would not be allowed to take the trolley out of their shop!! What the heck? How rude is that! Why do you keep trolleys if you are so possessive about them and won't let them out of your sight? Why can't you have enough shopping bags when customers are paying for them? Are we meant to place our orders on our hands and heads? Is that being fair or reasonable at all? Very unreasonable and unapologetic staff with poor attitude who advised us "not our problem" when we told them we were inconvenienced. Spent nearly $500 here and had to carry all the items on our hands and ask our small kids also to help carry things out of the store and had to go searching for a Coles trolley to take their stuff to our car. Very dissappointed. First visit (gift card given by friend) to this store probably our last. Sad because they had quite nice stuff. But I won't tolerate this kind of arrogance.

I used to love tkmaxx and many of my household items, dresses are from this store. But I have experienced something horrible today at tkmaxx Werribee Plaza. While I was going to the trial room the staff advised I can’t take the little items which I was okay with. However after coming out from the trial room the staff kept following me in everywhere. Keep looking at me in a very racist way and walking side by side in every isle. She made me so uncomfortable I just had to pay my bills and leave the store. This made me sick how I was treated.

TK MAX Castle Vale, Birmingham Store, UK. thinks its store policies can overrule United Kingdom's Laws. The laws for consumers right 2015, the manager even thinks that their policies are above the Uk Laws, people need to either their trading standards departments or take a lawsuit through small claims to put these people right, TK Max needs to retain their staff on basic knowledge !!

Bought a pair of slippers, which fell apart within three weeks. Type one product, so not genuine, made especially for tk maxx, something I didn't know at the time. One of my worst purchases ever.

Always found a nice tee-shirt here, or a pair of jeans. Prices have started rising though, feels not so excellent bargain as it once did. I do like the home decor sections, as they give a good scope of bric-a-brac to keep my mind interested. Ok pricing too. The reward scheme feels useless and it should be more keys to money spent. The rewards are very boring, ie I have just logged into John Lewis app and clicked a button to win a dinner for 2 in the Ritz. Or other apps just give things like a free Greg's coffee, just by clicking. "Treasure" wants me to collect expensive keys for "a chance" to win, an advent calendar?!?! (should be free), win 2 tickets to a panto trip (nice but I haven't the time to go to London from Wales).... Or a "chance to win" a year of arts pass, (I mean I'll go once if I'm close, but it's not my thing to go all the time). That's it. 3 so called rewards. Money off next shop is a reward, not a gamble "chance to win"... I sometimes can't be bothered even to get out the card thinking that there is no point. Rather quicker get out of the queue....

Rarely shopping at TK Taxx now: - Quality, variety, choice gone downhill but prices gone way up. Pushing halloween tat in July. - Delivery cost increased to a fiver; minimum spend £100 to get free delivery now -- used to be £75. - Delivery times very slow - was approx 5 days now almost 2 weeks since I ordered; this is despite receiving notification that it would be delivered earlier in the week. - DPD tracking doesnt work. No updates available.

Really bad customer service in both branches of Coventry. The one at central six couldnt do an exchange or credit for a faulty item without receipt. The manager made a big fuss out of it. Would never shop in this place again and will let so many people not to support theis company.😡

I am sick of the policing of the front door . Last Saturday the ‘doorman’ had a clicker and took great pleasure in using it whilst actually wearing swat gear ???? When I complained as feedback it was ignored ,,except I was followed out of the store and challenged by a stupid employee who stopped me outside of the store and asked me the problem then proceeded to ignore me whilst reporting me as a threat person to the security staff,,,a blatant lie to slander me and an abuse of the front line worker policy of non abuse ,,what a liar ,,She followed me down the street to do this ,,I’d left the store with my kids and dared to complain. The young Chinese boy at the door laughed and repeatedly clicked the clicker ,,idiots ,,I will never use tk Mac anywhere again ,,after 20 years of trying to help this jumble sale stay open I give up because of the ridiculous way I was followed then the idiot said you gotta leave lol!! What an idiot and A liar about passive men being violent . Disgusting

Usually a nice experience shopping in TK Maxx, spoilt today by one staff member who I assume is long overdue for her customer service training. I had money to spend but didn't bother. Staff need to be mindful that the customer is important to the longevity of the high street shops. To be fair the other staff member was lovely. It makes a difference!!

Tk Maxx is dead. Same stuff. Whether it's black Friday or January. Exaggerated RRP prices. It's like a jumble sale. Low qualities clothes. They don't last. Loose Fred and stains on clothes or marks of wear and tear. Disappointed.

Terrible customer service, rude, stroppy supervisor who refused to serve a customer 1 minute after official closing time. No need to take a bad day out on the customers! Service with a smile goes a long way!
