We are very regular customers at Woolies Cafe in Paarl and Port Elizabeth! Today however in the Paarl Mall Woolies Cafe while waiting for breakfast I noticed the ladies in the prep area and what I saw was UNACCEPTABLE! They were separating something or crumbling cheese - 1 had her gloves on and the other lady did not! AND she had jewellery on her fingers! Sies!!! She occasionally even removed whatever it is they were separating from her ring as it obviously got stuck onto it!! This is bad hygienic standards and even put me off my food! Staff working with food should not be allowed to wear jewellery!!!!!

I have always loved Woolies, for the good quality food and for the fantastic service. I loved going to the Tyger Valley Woolies, all the tellers were friendly, efficient and knows how to pack a bag! Unfortunately they have employed new tellers, they chat to each other while helping you and make mistakes (two items scanned twice in 2 days). I also don't mind packing my own bag, but the service was offered before, and suddenly it is not a thing anymore.

We visited Woolworth Brooklyn Restaurant on Friday 16 Sept. It is a lovely restaurant but the service is very poor. What a delightful change we found on Friday with your new manager, Mr Naude. It is not there yet but is much better than it used to be. It needed a manager like this. Thanks
