About Bali Holiday Secrets:

Let me help lower the risk of something going wrong during your Bali holiday. After years of passing on insider tips to family and friends, I'm sharing my local knowledge about money, transport, attractions and day tours.

Transfers from Bali Airport to your hotel or villa are easy if you book ahead. Remove the stress from arriving at Bali Airport and book a private car and driver to personally meet you and get you to your accommodations quickly and easily. Be met on arrival by one of my personally vetted, English-speaking drivers and receive comprehensive, detailed instructions on navigating the airport and making contact with your personal driver straight after booking.

Our day tours get rave reviews because my network of local drivers is second to none. I have personally vetted all the drivers I work with. They text me when they pick you up and again when you have been dropped off at the end of the day. I also email your driver’s name, profile photo, vehicle photo and phone number beforehand to ensure your safety and provide confidence. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and make amazing guides for your day tours around Bali.

“Our driver Samsul was waiting where we were expecting to meet him, I sent him a photo of us and so he actually recognised us as we missed him initially. Lovely guy and nice car. Highly recommend.”

“Michael…My wife and I can’t begin to thank Wayan Wis enough for the 3 day trips to Lempuyang Temple (Sunrise), North Bali and South Bali that he recently took us on. Wayan was always on time, helped us plan our daily itineraries, patient to allow us to fully enjoy each stop along the way, eager to share information about local Balinese culture, customs and way of life and, in general, Wayan went above and beyond to ensure each day was extremely special for us. Wayan took many spectacular photos and videos of us together (which is a challenge as a couple) that will forever remind us of the many beautiful temples, waterfalls and Bali sites that we visited. We also want to thank you for all the helpful Bali Holiday Secrets website information, your early comments/advice on our proposed itinerary but, most of all, thank you for choosing Wayan as our driver for our Bali day trips!!!”

“Excellent experience. Our flight was delayed but our driver waited for us patiently for no extra cost and was very welcoming and friendly. Offered to stop for food and drinks if needed.Comfortable car with air con and water provided. Highly recommended.”

“Wayan and Michael made Bali one of the highlights of our SE Asia trip! Michael was easy and informative to work with and kept me informed of changes while answering all of my questions I had prior to the trip. Wayan was a great driver and knew the roads well. I was so thankful to not have to drive thru the narrow and busy Bali streets. Furthermore, he was informative and knowledgeable as a guide and taught us alot on Bali customs and history while giving us suggestions for places to go. “Gede is an excellent, very committed, very professional driver. Came on time, kept us informed and updated without putting any pressure while waiting. Waved more than once to make sure that we are recognising each other. Greeted us with a big smile The car was clean and smelled good. Driving was very smooth and kept us informed during the journey to hotel. Answered very politely and honestly about the recommend places. My husband and I were very concerned about fake companies here and the standards. However Gede was very professional and super nice and made a great first impression on behalf of the balinese. Thanks a lot, we highly recommend this company.”

“From start to finish our experience with BHS for our airport transfer has been amazing. Great email correspondence with Michael and swift whatsapp response from Gede Ardi on arrival. He had to wait for 1.5hrs for us to get through customs but was so patient and happy when we got through. He was easy to spot and was so helpful and chatty on the drive to Ubud. We felt safe and in such good hands. Wouldn’t go with anybody else. Have already booked our return trip with him! Highly Recommended!!!”

“Could not recommend highly enough!! Our pick from airport to our accommodation was seamless and our driver extremely nice and helpful. We also booked a day tour and once again we had same driver taking us and taking our photos and chatting about life in Bali. Fantastic service from booking right at the start to finish.”

“Hi Michael, Just wanted to thank you for a fantastic day, our guide Ketut was amazing, very courteous and knowledgeable about the places we were visiting. I was extremely glad that he escorted us through the monkey park as well as it made me feel more comfortable 😂 (I’m not very brave) All in all I couldn’t not fault the service and friendliness of Ketut or your company when booking, super efficient, keep up the good work”

“Our first time to Bali and we booked a day tour/driver through Bali Holiday Secrets. Our driver Gede Suardika was great, he was at our hotel early and let us know he had arrived and was waiting through WhatsApp. During the day he answered any questions, was a great tour guide and had a good laugh. Nothing was trouble, extra stops for photos or a few groceries on the way back to the hotel. His van was clean, bottled water supplied and a great folder with some good Bali info in the back of the seats. When we head back to Bali I will be asking Balia Holiday Secrets for him again.”

“We're so pleased we booked this.. the airport is still a bit of a pickle to get through after covid etc and it was a massive relief to have our driver, clearly signed and patiently waiting.. he was beyond helpful and lovely (as most Balinese are) and I would book this again in future. There's a throng of drivers waiting, so I feel it's very worth it to have booked this before hand.”
