Let me help lower the risk of something going wrong during your Bali holiday. After years of passing on insider tips to family and friends, I'm sharing my local knowledge about money, transport, attractions and day tours.

Transfers from Bali Airport to your hotel or villa are easy if you book ahead. Remove the stress from arriving at Bali Airport and book a private car and driver to personally meet you and get you to your accommodations quickly and easily. Be met on arrival by one of my personally vetted, English-speaking drivers and receive comprehensive, detailed instructions on navigating the airport and making contact with your personal driver straight after booking.

Our day tours get rave reviews because my network of local drivers is second to none. I have personally vetted all the drivers I work with. They text me when they pick you up and again when you have been dropped off at the end of the day. I also email your driver’s name, profile photo, vehicle photo and phone number beforehand to ensure your safety and provide confidence. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and make amazing guides for your day tours around Bali.

“Gede was our driver for the day and was incredibly helpful, kind and friendly. He was happy to go along with our intended schedule and we made adjustments with traffic and timings as the day went on. Nothing was a problem for him. A great experience booking through Michael’s website and would definitely recommend it. 👍🏻👍🏻”

“Truly amazing! Thank you Michael for providing such an amazing service and advice. The driver you reserved for us (Putu) is truly amazing! He took great care of us on all the days we booked and took us to places we never even knew about!! He was really cool about waiting for us when we went over time at some places and clearly knows all your secret trails. We had such a wonderful time and was the highlight of our trip to Bali. We are already booking our next trip!!!”

“Great confidence builder! I was always too scared to get taxis until now. Been here a few times but just reading this everything makes sense. I now take a private driver for longer trips and make sure the meter is on in a bluebird taxi on shorter trips before letting him get going. And I always tip the Grab guys to make up for the dirt cheap price!”

“The best travel advice about money ever! I went to Bali last year and had my card swallowed and now I know why!! About to go on my second trip with the girls and you have the best travel advice about money ever!! I always thought some of those ATMs were dodgy but now I know it's ok to get money from the airport or from one at a bank.”

“The perfect start to our holiday!! We were so thankful we planned ahead and booked your driver. Immigration took ages and we were hot and sweaty and the kids were getting tired when we got through, so it was such a welcome relief that we saw Putu exactly where you instructed us to meet him. So many taxi drivers yelling for our attention!!! If we didn't have your advice arriving would have been a disaster. Thank you so much Michael. You're the best!!!”

“Hi Michael, I just wanted to thank you for the taxi service and very detailed instructions regarding the airport. My flight was one of two international flights that landed earlier today but I still took your advice and ran through the airport like a bat out of hell! There’s that initial series of checks for your covid related docs, then paying for the visa, then immigration and then customs. As long as you have your docs in order it’s pretty straightforward, but it’s a slow process so I’m glad I got ahead of the crowd. It meant that from disembarking the plane through to meeting Dewa, the whole process was just under an hour which was great. Dewa was really lovely so thank you again. I’m going through your website for more travel ideas for once I move on from Canggu. It’s one of the better online resources for a pragmatic look at Bali, what to do and how best to do it, so thank you for that too.”

“We got picked up by Gede, really nice guy! He was at our service and drove us to the places we wanted to see. When we asked him of places he could recommend he took us to a coffee plantation and a temple. Really nice experiences! Recommending Bali Holiday Secrets, we felt safe, also when we walked around town while our suitcases was in the car. Nice drive with a good and interesting guy, he was nice to talk to!”

“I booked this service after a previous experience landing in Bali with no transport orgnised. Needless to say landing in a new country after a very long flight from Europe, the last thing you need is to be dealing with a chaotic scene with various people trying to sell you their taxi services. Booking with Bali Holiday Secrets removed all the stress & hassle. Advance Communication by email was excellent. At the airport, the driver was there on time and had a clear sign marked out for me and he was very professional and friendly. A much more pleasant experience using Bali Holiday Secrets and I will be using this service. Highly recommended”
