Let me help lower the risk of something going wrong during your Bali holiday. After years of passing on insider tips to family and friends, I'm sharing my local knowledge about money, transport, attractions and day tours.

Transfers from Bali Airport to your hotel or villa are easy if you book ahead. Remove the stress from arriving at Bali Airport and book a private car and driver to personally meet you and get you to your accommodations quickly and easily. Be met on arrival by one of my personally vetted, English-speaking drivers and receive comprehensive, detailed instructions on navigating the airport and making contact with your personal driver straight after booking.

Our day tours get rave reviews because my network of local drivers is second to none. I have personally vetted all the drivers I work with. They text me when they pick you up and again when you have been dropped off at the end of the day. I also email your driver’s name, profile photo, vehicle photo and phone number beforehand to ensure your safety and provide confidence. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and make amazing guides for your day tours around Bali.

“Highly recommend Bali Holiday Secrets - especially Kadek, our driver. You get sent a confirmation email with a photo of your driver and their WhatsApp number after you book, this is so incredibly reassuring. Kadek waited patiently for us, even with all our arrival delays and he kept in contact and reassured us the whole time. Our drive to the hotel was great as Kadek was so knowledgeable and chatted to us. This option may not be the cheapest transfer option, but it is honestly worth every cent and you won’t be disappointed.”

“Everything was amazing. We booked 2 tours and both were really interesting. Samsul was our driver and he was very nice and a good driver. He adapted to our itinerary with no problem as well as Madi in Nusa, we really enjoyed the experience. We recommend this agency to any person who wants to have an exceptional experience in Bali!”

“We’ve already had a great experience using the driver service from Bali Holiday Secrets and have several more journeys/tours planned. Including the Uluwatu day tour and a visit to Merah Putih for dinner (great recommendation Michael). We’ve been assigned the same driver for all our journeys which is a nice touch, and Kadek is fantastic. He’s punctual, knowledgeable and puts us totally at ease as he very safely navigates Bali’s chaotic traffic. We would highly recommend Bali Holiday Secrets, everything is made really easy and you definitely get what you pay for.”

“My daughter and I spent 4 days in Bali in August 2023. Two of those days, Gede Nanta was our driver from Bali Holiday Secrets. He arrived promptly at our early arrival, communicated with us through What’s App and took us on the trip to Eastern Bali exactly as I requested. He is very personable, and easy going. On our second tour, he took us to Tanah Lot, through Ubud and to the rice terraces. He is good natured and an excellent driver. I highly recommend Bali Holiday Secrets. The owner, Michael, was quick to respond to emails, gave very direct instructions and provided many helpful tips. Bali Holiday Secrets literally MADE our trip to Bali fun and worry free. “I found "Michael" on a Google search and I am so glad I did. His drivers (so far I have dealt with 3 of them) all speak good English and are knowledgeable of Bali. Our driver offered to take us out for days if he had any gaps in his schedule and having seen how busy the roads are and how people drive I am glad I took up his offer. The price of the airport transfer in a private car was excellent value and it gave me a chance to find out all about Bali and how things work. That was worth the price alone. You will get a picture of the driver that is picking you up and you send them a picture of yourself and then that way you can recognise your driver . Your driver will be carrying a card with the company name on it so nobody else can jump in and use your name in an effort to 'steal' your business.”

“Just what a newbie to Bali needs to know! We were very happy with all the airport info provided, especially when it was updated by other readers, eg the old farts lane in immigration now being on the left. We had two drivers over 3 days, the peripatetic Gede, who had a lot of fingers in a lot of pies, and the equally knowledgeable and smiling Dendong. They didn't just ask where we wanted to go, they also made helpful suggestions, much as a guide would do. And when they left us to do our own thing, we were able to agree where and when we would meet up. Hint: a local sim enabling local calls was a real help. Above everything, Gede and Dendong were very safe, dealing with the madness that is Bali traffic with competence and good humour. The icing on the cake was when I checked the prices being offered by the hotel. Michael's prices were quite a bit lower, which made me feel even better.”

“Michael has put together such a great informative website for anyone visiting Bali for the first time.
