About Bali Holiday Secrets:

Let me help lower the risk of something going wrong during your Bali holiday. After years of passing on insider tips to family and friends, I'm sharing my local knowledge about money, transport, attractions and day tours.

Transfers from Bali Airport to your hotel or villa are easy if you book ahead. Remove the stress from arriving at Bali Airport and book a private car and driver to personally meet you and get you to your accommodations quickly and easily. Be met on arrival by one of my personally vetted, English-speaking drivers and receive comprehensive, detailed instructions on navigating the airport and making contact with your personal driver straight after booking.

Our day tours get rave reviews because my network of local drivers is second to none. I have personally vetted all the drivers I work with. They text me when they pick you up and again when you have been dropped off at the end of the day. I also email your driver’s name, profile photo, vehicle photo and phone number beforehand to ensure your safety and provide confidence. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and make amazing guides for your day tours around Bali.

“Aloha! Found this website looking for local companies. So glad I did! Everything was so easy to setup and communication was the best. We had Kadek take us around for 10 hours and honesty he was just amazing! Not only did he drive us but he was practically a tour guide. We were so interested in not just the sites but also the culture and the daily lives of the Balinese people. He answered all our questions and explained so much. He was so easy to hang out with all day it was like being with a friend. We enjoyed our time so much that we booked him again for another 10 hour day in a different part of the island. And then a 3rd day but as an airport transfer. I hope we thanked Kadek enough and will looking to see him again the next time we return to Bali.”

“We had an amazing time on our day tour with Gede as our driver! He has a very comfortable car, was extremely knowledgeable about the roads and Bali in general, and gave us a lot of great insight to the island and culture! If I had to nitpick, I would have liked being taken to a different restaurant for lunch, as the one we went to seemed to cater to tourist groups and was pricey, but other than that we had an absolutely fantastic time!! We genuinely wouldn’t hesitate to book again when in Bali next.”

“During the week-long tour with Gede Nanta, I had a wonderful time. Gede knowledge of the local area and its history was truly impressive, and it added a whole new dimension to the places we visited. What made the tour truly special, though, was Gede's warm and friendly personality. It felt like exploring with a knowledgeable friend rather than a typical tour guide. “Thank you for making it easy and stress-free for me to visit places I wanted! Wayan navigated the narrow roads of Ubud with ease. Tip for people booking the 10 hour South Bali tour: When planning the route/places to visit, do account for traffic and consider that likely more than 10 hours will be needed e.g. if visiting Ubud (at least two attractions) and Uluwatu from the Nusa Dua area (I left at 10 in the morning, headed to Ubud first to see the Tegalalang rice terraces and the elephants at Mason lodge, and didn’t make it to see the Uluwatu temple within the opening hours, so opted for Jimbaran beach for sunset instead). Still a very nice day!”
