“The quality the material of your bags appears to have declined since my Last purchase. This recent purchase was a graduation gift for a friend, who at nearly 40 years old will be leaving behind gigs and bartending for a career as a teacher and this gift was an acknowledgment of all of the changes he has made and effort he has put in. He still appreciated the gesture and as he doesn’t own an older day owl, didn’t not know of the change in material. I however was disappointed.”

Hey Jordan, I saw your other message on our timeline. A) congrats to your friend. B) Our bags are exactly the same as they were. Same materials suppliers, same factory, even the same batch of fabric. It hasn't changed since you bought last precisely because we want to make sure our customers all get the same or an even better experience. I did see that your last purchase was not this bag. It was a different bag from our secondhand line made of different materials. I'm wondering if that is why you feel they're different.

“I tried to love it, but the bag is too bulky and heavy even with nothing inside it. Also it creates marks if something touches the fabric… for example I had it in overhead bin with other luggage. The luggage bushed up against it and left marks on the bag. I used it once on my trip to Europe recently. The straps are way too big even fully adjusted since I’m petite. Unfortunately this bag is going to goodwill as I cannot use it again. Not comfortable due to straps and much heavier with things in it. I like the design and look of it though.”

“The bag is nice and fine, but the pockets had trash and even dried, rotten orange peels in them. Your website emphasizes that the bags were cleaned, but if the pockets weren't even opened to take out bits of dried, rotten orange peels I have no idea what your company even does when "cleaning" the bags. It seems like one of the first steps to cleaning a bag is emptying out its contents. Overall, happy with the bag. Not sure if I'll order with your company again.”

“The look and feel are good. I had it sitting by my chair at the pool and a puddle of water could not penetrate the inside (main or laptop compartment). For some reason I though it had better organization in the main compartment, but the large slot won't even fit a standard size journal, not will the outside zipper pouch. The small inside pouch fits my laptop charger or one other small accessory. The more I write about this the less satisfied I am with it. Other than the waterproofing and sturdy feel of it I don't think it's worth the money. They also came out with a 25% off coupon after I spent the full amount on the bag so I'm not happy about that. I think this is going to be a return.”
