However, our ultimate goal is to see that all bags do not end up in a landfill. If your old backpack still has some life in it, we recommend donating it to a place or to someone who needs it. “Product was delivered quickly all the way from the US. bought the product from Europe so shipping is a bit expensive but that is not the companies fault. The extra shipping is worth it for a product of this quality.”

“The bag is well constructed and seems durable. I really like the design. The downside for me so far is that the fabric scratches very easily. It arrived with scuffs and scrapes etched in and I added a few of my own before it even left my house. They don’t buff out so hopefully with time it looks like a patina of wear instead of how it currently just looks a bit shabby. I’ll add that my particular 32 oz water bottle does not fit in the designated pouch. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, but it’s not perfect.”

The taller-shaped water bottles(ex: wine bottles) fit inside the pocket more easily. Give this one a try https://nalgene.com/product/32oz-wide-mouth-bottle/ 2. Remove the creases/scratches on the canvas: This is the nature of our waxed canvas products. These waxed finishes protect the fabric and show the material's textured movement history. Some of the marks occur in production or during transportation. Each bag has its own unique character. The more you use it the more it becomes unique to you according to how you personally handle your bag. ***Please try this hack...It really works!!*** If you want to remove some of the creases, just warm up a good hair dryer and run it over the areas you’d like to recondition. Our recycled canvas has layers of wax on it, so the mild heat will melt the top layer of wax to see fewer creases. We are glad to have you in our community. Nina Customer Care

“I bought the small pouch and the mini backpack, both are great! I keep essentials in the pouch (wallet, medicine, chapstick, etc.) and that makes it SO easy to switch from my school backpack to my purse/mini backpack. The mini backpack nicely fits my pouch of essentials, a water bottle, book, and more!”

“We purchased this bag as a Christmas gift for my father, but had a delivery issue with Fedex that resulted in our backpack being stolen. Nina at Day Owl was so kind and did a wonderful job helping us resolve the issue and rapidly sent us a replacement in time for Christmas! Truly above and beyond customer service, and the backpack itself is phenomenal. 10 out of 5 stars!”
