“Got a $100 gift card from my son. Bought an insulted jacket size large, could not get the zipper to move. The sleeves were down to my finger tips. I have bought ther Legend long sleep tees shirts and the sleeves were down shrank 3 inches. It’s hit and miss.”
“I have liked their quality/price proposition on past purchases of outdoor wear.
This time, ordered a parka on one of the big Black Friday online sales.
- didn’t arrive within 2 weeks, so called customer service. Was told order was lost, refund to be issued, replacement order and “expedited” shipping provided.
- did not charge me the sales price, and could not offer me the colour of the initial order.
- called in again, said they would refund the over charge and I should get the order on a specific day.
- that day came and went, no parka, no refund.
- called in again, told refund and order should still arrive before Xmas, but absolutely no tracking verification available.
The story on this order kept changing, every time I called in. Bottom line, the shipment, payment processing and customer service systems are USELESS.
Would not recommend these guys to anyone.”
“Same experience as many others...product not delivered, no way to speak to humans. "Customer Service" sends the same scripted email out no matter where you send it. Was supposed to have a manager call today at 2:30...guess they got stuck in the warehouse like my kids coat! Will NEVER order from this garbage again.”
“Received 505 parka as a gift. After one mild winter, the plastic main zipper failed. Months later, the zipper for the removable hood would not work at all. Stop trying to save a nickel and put steel zippers on the rather expensive coats.”
“A person cannot pay online for clothes, you will need to contact customer service (work from home person) and they will go online and purchase the items for you asking for your information.
Clothes are good quality, customer service is ok. I want to buy my clothes online without the need to give my credit card information to a person to do the same thing I can do.
Live chat was an automatic communication response ( terrible!) didn’t answer your questions. Same as email, didn’t answer your questions just sent random responses.”
“Eddie Bauer customer service is awful!!!!!!} Don’t order online from Eddie Bauer. I placed an order for three items. They changed my address and the items were delivered to a home three blocks away. After a lengthy phone call with customer service the agent sent me a picture of the delivery. I used the picture to walk up and down my street to find my order. One item did not fit. I tried to exchange it but Eddie Bauer doesn’t do exchanges. You have to return and wait for a credit and then place a new order. Crazy. I waited on the phone for 50 minutes to ask if I can take the item into an outlet store (closest Eddie Bauer store] to do the exchange. No all outlets store accept returns. So, now I will wait until I travel to visit friends who live closer to an actual store. Never again.”
“Sad to say their quality has gone down hill and their pricing has risen exponentially! And their mens sweatshirts, which aren't inexpensive, pill really badly after a few washings. Not worth buying anything from EB - there are less expensive sweatshirts out there that do not pill - don't waste your money here.”
