I had purchased a light grey 3 button henley shirt for my son right before Christmas. He just wore it once and found that the material up on the shoulders has a buckling of the material which made it come to a point. I called the store to point out my problem and they said I needed either the receipt or tags which I had already disposed of thinking that there would be not problem. I called your customer service, and they told us to take a picture of the damaged shirt and send it to them and they would in turn put a work order in and your back office would review it. It was back to us in less than 5 minutes with the same story the store told us about your return policy. I just wanted a store credit for an exchange. This was the fault of the manufacturer. I had a very rude employee in the Aurora Outlet Store and also at the Yorktown Mall store. I am very disappointed in your customer service and not taking in account that the shirt had be flawed. I buy a lot of shirts from your company and I have never been treated so poorly. You can override anything if it is not to the satisfaction and quality issues arise. I don't care if we were past your return policy. That is such an excuse. My other 2 shirts I purchased did not have this same problem. Shame on your company for not resolving this issue. It was no fault of the customer. Very annoyed and disappointed customer.

I returned an item and the refund was only processed when I contacted an agent. The items had been received two weeks earlier but it was only the chat that enabled the refund. And I had to use the chat feature because the toll free line was experiencing technical difficulties. Will never buy online again from Eddie Bauer.

Never sent my package to USPS, won't refund my money because I never received package. Customer service is useless, have been dealing with this for weeks

Product took over a month to be delivered when advertised that delivery would be in 7 days. Product returned immediately upon arrival as no longer needed and took over 2 1/2 months to get money returned for items they had received back. Unacceptable it took so long to received refund back. Do not order from Eddie Bauer!

They are making money from charging people shipping that does not exist and keep the refund for over a month and a half. They charged me $20 for shipping fees when I returned the a baby jacket that I received damaged and it took them over one month and a half to give me my refund.

I have spent the last two months trying to obtain a refund from Eddie Bauer for a pair of pajama pants that I sent back. And during that period, they have consistently gone back on their word and reneged on what they offered me. First I was promised a gift card equivalent to the full value of the pants. Then, once they had received the pants, I was told that the gift card would only be equivalent to 50% of their value. I called and spoke with a supervisor about this and they offered to send me an additional gift card to make up the other 50%. But now they're withholding the original refund that I'm still owed. I'm lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and if that fails, I will be taking Eddie Bauer to small claims court. Do not patronize this deceptive business.

I have been a customer of Eddie Bauer for over 30 years. I have The following clothing and apparel from Eddie Bauer. Multiple jackets, vests, shoes, boots, socks pants, shirts, hats lunchbox, hiking packs and many other products. Basically 90 percent of what I wear is from Eddie Bauer. I have also bought many gifts for friends and family too. In all my years I have only exchanged a reversible belt. Recently I wanted to exchange a micro 2.0 down vest. The zipper broke after wearing it less than a dozen times. I received it from my father who passed. Because I didn’t have receipt Eddie Bauer would not exchange my vest. To add more to my frustration they offered me a $20.00 Is to making another purchase. Sadly I will be parting ways from all future dealings with Eddie Bauer.

I ordered an electric wi-fi enabled throw (paid over $140.00) and first thing was the app for the throw was no longer available and was not even affiliated with Eddie Bauer. Okay, no biggie. I had the throw less than 3 months and it quit working all together. I live in the South so it was not from over use either. I contacted the company for help and was told that I would have to drive over an hour away to exchange the item, if the store had them available. I had originally ordered this item on-line and explained that in my email and was told that I still had to drive to the store to attempt an exchange! I was not asking for a refund, just an exchange for what I purchased less than 3 months prior. They will not even attempt to work with customers and the customer service responses were all canned responses from over seas customer service centers. NEVER EVER BUY from this company! Extremely poor customer service!

Stay Far Far away from this company. What a nightmare it was in dealing with this penny pinching company. Purchased a backpack online and received it with poor quality and returned it back to where I was told to return the item (Eddie Bauer distribution location). They wanted to charge me $7 for shipping as a Adventure Member for an item that was in poor quality. It was exhausting after many calls and a obstinate customer service rep. Do yourself a favor to avoid aggravation, purchase elsewhere.

Winter coat arrived with a cheap zipper that kept coming undone. Finally fell apart a little over a year after purchase. Currently below zero, and I don’t have a winter coat. What is outrageous is that this was something done with intention: there’s no way this could have been regarded as an acceptable zipper.

I bought an Eddie Bauer coat from Kohl's on January 4th 2025. It is now January 21st 2025 and so far two of the rivet buttons on the coat have fallen out. Normal use wears out this coat within 2 weeks. I've never experienced something with such poor quality as Eddie Bauer.

I have been a loyal customer of EB for over ten years. The delivery for This last order I placed was completely botched and resulted in great difficulty for me. I placed this order November 11. Many items were sent to the wrong address or never shipped by the OHIO warehouse. When I contacted EB in December about my missing Christmas Presents a supervisor said she was expedite the order. She apologized and explained they had a new warehouse in Ohio and were having difficulty getting orders out in time. The last items were not shipped until DECEMBER 27. The pants were received by UPS JANUARY 6 ALMOST TWO MONTHS LATER. However Ups discontinued their agreement with sure post January 1 so my items were returned to EB. EB declines to provide a refund until they get the items back even though they have the tracking information showing seller requested to send the items back. I have called this company multiple times and talked to multiple supervisors to get the items sent to my street address or to get a refund of the jacket and pants now. They only offered me a $10 coupon on a $59 jacket for my trouble. The supervisor said this is a business we can't give a refund to you until we get the item back. I have no control over that since it is being shipped now to them without my knowledge or decision. I will never buy anything online from this company again. Not only is their shipping and delivery process completely incompetent their customer service department is worse.

Do not purchase online. I purchased a jacket online November 21st, with the 7 to 9 day shipping time. after a few weeks with a payment pending on my account, they informed me that it was back ordered and they would NOT be fulfilling my order. Even though it was in stock when I ordered. So after the company canceling my order, I purchased another jacket from another company. With a payment pending still on my account, and multiple calls to the company to remove it, not getting anywhere with them, horrible customer service. Guess what shows up on my doorstep January 6th? You guessed it, the jacket that I ordered November 21st, that they canceled. Don't bother ordering online from this company. If anything, go into a store, do not online shop with Eddie Bauer.

Ordered Christmas gifts on NOVEMBER 13th. Now January 3 and I have received 2 of 6 items. To add insult to injury, I now have FOURTEEN different transactions on my account, both charges and refunds that I've had to manually input into a spreadsheet to sort out. Ultimately they overcharged my account by over $250, and when I tried to resolve this with customer service, they told me their systems are broken and I need to file a dispute with my bank. I've spent upwards of 4 hours trying to resolve this and still haven't gotten anywhere. I had to buy an entire set of back up Christmas gifts at the 11th hour. I used to be a loyal fan. I will now, never shop there again. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced in retail.

The clothes we ordered were fine , but we ordered them on Dec 8th and didn't receive them til 2 days AFTER Christmas they were Christmas gifts for my husband so there I sat on Christmas with no gifts. It wouldn't have been quite so bad but after contacting your company a week before christmas they said they would be to me BEFORE Christmas and that they were on their way. We have been customers for many years and can't believe your company didn't compensate or apologize even. maybe next year customer should be told that all December orders will most likely come after the holiday.

I brought back a clothing gift I received that was the wrong size, and told the clerk I wanted to get something else. I showed the receipt that came with the gift as proof of purchase. The clerk misunderstood and immediately refunded the gift-giver's credit card, preventing me from making an exchange and informing me they could not reverse THEIR error. Never shopping here again.

Took 30 days to get order when said 7-10 Days. Tried to cancel order but customer Service no help. Terrible service. Don’t buy from them! Charge you right away but don’t care how long it takes to get your order.

forty years of being a customer. Great products. Awful web experience for petites. Fraudulent coupon offer-tells you must be over $100 when you order-after they take your contact information. $7 to return product. Never again.

Ordered Christmas gifts on December 14th and I paid 9.95 for shipping. Days later received an email stating that the order would be late due to high volume. They could have overnighted the package, instead they ship out standard and getting here after Christmas. They send a “we’re sorry “ email with a ten dollar coupon code on another purchase. I will never buy from them again and as soon as that package gets here it’s getting returned. How sad Eddie Bauer is.
