Firstly the wrong item was delivered. When I asked what happened to my order I am told that they have no stock even though the web site clearly states that they have. Contacted FS on line chat to be told that they have stock of my item and then told they do not. When I asked how they were going to collect the incorrect item they told me to post it back presumable at my expense. Not a very good experience.

Hi David, Firstly we are very sorry that you feel we have provided a bad experience. The item that you ordered over the phone was the item that was sent, however, the confusion over it being the wrong product is because the product named trim 43 was last purchased by you in 2022 and it has changed since then as our supplier for trims and moulding has changed since then. Regarding the item being in stock and out of stock that is entirely our fault as we have just gone through a full company stock take and are still tying up loose ends. As a show of goodwill please keep the trims and we will issue a refund and hopefully we can draw a line under this and move forward to better relationship in the future. I wanted a sample of a wood stain for £1.95 and was shocked when I checked out to see delivery was £8.95 + VAT. We really liked the sample that arrived but I am still in shock at the delivery price for a 5ml sachet which would cost the price of a stamp to post.

We are very sorry to hear that you were shocked to see the delivery charge for the sachet of Osmo. Possibly my worst delivery experience ever. I realise this isn't directly to do with Floorstock, but delivery is a major aspect of a customer's experience. APC told me my delivery was due on a given date between 14.09 - 16.09 and kept telling me that despite the goods not arriving until 20.05. I opened the door within about 5 seconds of hearing the knock, despite which the delivery driver had already left my package on the pavement and was walking off without a backward glance. My front door opens directly onto the pavement so anyone could have picked it up (or tripped over it); no other delivery driver has ever done this. And the tin was damaged despite the packaging.

Hi there, as discussed with our director on the phone yesterday, we are very sorry to hear that the courier let us down in this situation but please be assured that we do everything we can to make sure that these things do not happen.

Ordered and paid for next day delivery, still hasn’t arrived so I guess I’m sad and disappointed
