“We received our order on the exact day we requested. The bed was fairly easy to assemble with clear instructions. So far the bed seems sturdy and looks great. The minimal packaging worked well as everything was intact.”

“Product and delivery were both great. The website is easy to use, and I had some questions answered promptly too. As an improvement, for the screwing of the slats into the bed frame I would provide measurements, or markings, or a spacer that allows easier installation. Many thanks for the service.”

“The bed is a keepsake that we bought for a spare room, along with the large underbed box and side floating shelf. The bed was easy to assemble except for the underbed box. The underbed box floor consists of 10-ish boards that were not the same length. Some were a hair too short and we ended up having to add thick sealing tape to ensure the boards would stay in the frame, otherwise they would fall out. I wish we hadn't bought the underbed box as it isn't worth the price or hassel in my mind. Overall quality of the wood, and stain color were very nice. Well packaged and quick shipment. Thanks.”

“Absolutely amazing. The quality is top notch. All the boards are fully finished. The pieces that are stained are stained on all sides. No short cuts. All pieces are carefully made, no weird or pieces that need to be made work. All screws are high quality, and they are not stingy on screws. Last the note on needing a power/drill is necessary. Won't go together without it. Lastly this is not a beginners assembly project. The tounges to need to be fully seated to the holes when screwed in place. Gaping can occur. Also sense this is a hard wood you need to understand feel of wood screws, and what ones to use sense there are two sizes and nessary washers. Pieces have a top and bottom and need to be installed as such. Get a handy friend if assembly and tools are not your thing. ***That said I would gladly recommend this product to my friends.*** Very much worth the price.”

“Love how simple, yet beautiful the bed is. Bought the Tokyo low. Didn't realize how short the headbord height is but that's my fault. The low shipping cost to the US sealed the deal.”

“Very good quality, solidly built bed frame. Assembly was fairly easy with a power screwdriver. There were four internal screws that sat next to the slat rails that were hard to access. I could only screw in so far with the power screwdriver then had to manually screw the rest of the way.”

“The wood was good quality. It looked beautiful with the stain and wood grain. One minor issue we had was a few of holes didn’t line up and we had to drill our own. Instructions were a little hard to follow but over all the bed frame is beautiful and very sturdy, would recommend and buy from them again.”

“Not as simple to build as I think it was based on advertising. Though there were a few times were I could have done the wrong thing or wished there was a guide hole, I managed to not screw it up. Though it seems sturdy, the quality and manufacturing of the wood has high tolerances and variances - meaning they did not fit together well - though they did all fit together. Given the pricing and quality offered by competitors I most likely will not take another chance on a Laid bed.”

“The materials are good, this bed is sturdier than most commercial beds. As far as assembly goes, I was missing some screws and the central rail was not completely flat and the dimensions were incorrect. However, I emailed customer service and they are sendiing another rail and some extra screws. Overall, I think this is a better quality bed than the ones you find in the US at City Furniture, IKEA, El Dorado etc..”
