And yet, if you don't order through the store directly, the store will not pick it up for a return. Note! Lifetime sheds are flimsy, Hundreds of screws and parts very complicated and messy unpredictable results! Get Suncast shed They don't pass their problems onto the consumer.
Also, Lifetime have trained their monkey to reply with rude scripted facile language.
Not all Home Depot and employees are guilty. Allowing the phone to go on answered makes Home Depot a Big box joke run by another disgustingly Incompetent GE failure. Shop elsewhere or this is all you will be left with.”
“Horrible online ordering experience. Pieces of orders shipped with tracking and arrived on time. But they were contingent on other items that didn't get tracking added, and wildly missed estimated delivery dates (most still not received as of this writing). No customer support that can actually do anything. Avoid at all costs.”
“Communication and delivery service has been a nightmare. I have to call to find out why they didn't call or moved delivery date. Not once did they notify me until after I called. Rescheduled 3 times so far. This last time they confirmed I was next and they are delivering within the hour. 90 minutes later I called because they had not called or showed up. They now want to reschedule for 6 days from now. But hey, they will give you $25 off, so that makes up for going without a major appliance for going on three weeks.”
“I made an order on May 17. 2 six foot baseboard covers, 2 end caps, and 1 connector. simple. When it was confirmed by email, the order was wrong. I called and corrected it (or so I was told.) 2 of the small items were delivered to my house but I was told the others had to be delivered to the store (odd, but ok.) It's now June 11 and I am still waiting despite getting emails several weeks ago that the items are at the store. When I went to pick them up I was told they were there but not yet ready for pickup. Irritating. WHen I called several days later I was told they weren't there and no one would say why or what happened. The manager said she would call "dot com" to straighten it out and call me back. No call back. I got several emails this week saying 2 of the remaining 3 items were ready for pickup but not the third. I had until Thurs. to pick up. I called to extend this until all the items were in the store. Again, I was told they weren't there. Then I was told one of the items that the email said was NOT ready WAS there but not one of the others. Who IS on first...? This person said the manager (same manager) would call me back by 3:00 today. It's now 6pm and I called to speak to her. I was told, when she heard my name, that she was on the phone with "dot com." Sound familiar? Also that I would get a call by 6:15...
All I want are the stupid baseboard covers. I would cancel the order but I have 2 of the 5 pieces. This would be funny except it isn't. A monumental waste of my time and, I have to guess, the manager's time as well. It ain't rocket science as the saying goes. If I could give a zero I would. The local store in question is Saratoga Springs, NY which I used to like. Talk about how to lose a customer.”
“I purchased a bundle package at the fishkill Home Depot,what a desaster..5 appliances dishwasher washer dryer refrigerator stove..I paid for them to remove all old appliances bought warranties spend a whole lot of money,the delivery sevice they use tried to hustle me for extra money..saying the couldn't get the washer and dryer I paid for to come out but they could come back the next day for 500.00 dollars they can get it out...so in the meantime they turned off my hot water my furnace went out and the blocked the washer and dryer in the door way of my utility room..so I had no hot water for 5 days until they can send a new delivery...they left the dishwasher Uninstalled hanging out by 8 inches said for 300.00 dollars they can come back and shave my cabinets the next day...and then they put my refrigerator on the wrong WAY and striped the screw than dented the door in 2 places...then they left ..after 5 hours of them fighting with the refrigerator...never put the hot water back on never moved my washer and dryer back in its pace..the HomeDepot had my money in full since may 15th..I still do not have a washer and dryer because the new guys said nope no way ..we can take the old one but we can't install the new one..are you fn kidding me..they said it was broke..now they set me up with a new delivery date and it's supposed to be a swap out for my refrigerator..they never ever took the washer and dryer in my home once...just nope we are not doing it..I have to tell you they were replacing my old washer and dryer which was larger than the new one..I lost my groceries because it too them hours to get the door on the refrigerator correct I am disappointed to the fullest .I canceled my washer and dryer I had to drop off 3 weeks of laundry...I would never ever do business with them ever..I was offered 100.00 are you fn kidding me..still nothing is correct..I lost all my frozen meat food ..even the guy said sorry..we can't get the door back off..I feel like they took total advantage of a woman,tried to scam money off of Mr making Mr think nothing will fit..after I paid and had a very reliable gentleman who measured everything for me...I had to communicate with Google because I do not know spanich..one day I was so mad and fed up ..very vocal as they told me for the third time nope for my washer and dryer they left with my refrigerator never put it in..I jad to call the police dept.becausr they pulled away without installing the new refrigerator...I have never in my life ...I have nothing tears disappointed and try to get a supervisor nope you can't..try to get the wharehouse yes I did but I had a fight to tell the guy I want my items I paid for ...he said your holding my driver up and they left with both my appliances...fn descrasful...today I asked for the first second or third spot for delivery so I can go to my Dr's apt for they are coming the 4th time ..what do they tell me I'm on the late windoww...I will not stop until i hear from a respected person from the Home Depot..I had to higher a plummer to come and turn everything they turned off as well.”
“I purchased a Gazebo from Kozyard through Home Depot. It was delivered right on time. The Gazebo when finished looks great and is very sturdy . We are in our 70's and we were able to put it together and had very little problems. The directions were easy to follow and everything was labeled nicely. Had to open the boxes in order to find the directions. They were in box #3, Read the directions carefully so you do not have to redo some of the steps. I would follow the instruction and glue the clips on the roof panel before installing them. This would save you time going up the and down the latter picking them up. Once we taped or glued the clips on they stayed on and the roof panels went on easier. It was easier then I thought anchoring down the Gazebo. When I called CS at Kozyard they were very nice to work with and knowledgeable of the products . I would recommend this gazebo.”

“My issue is not with the sales person. He went beyond what i had expected. It was the customer service at leila in winnipeg to which i was transfered. The first transfer had a phone ring wigh no answer for more than 5 min. I wax not hanging up because ofvthe issue. It was ended after 2 people connect and disconnected without conversation. I called again only to get a statement they would contact the saleman and get back to me. It has been over 4 hours with no contact from customer service. The salesman has called numerous time to see how he can help. I would like to name him here but nnot too sure how it would be received. I did send an email directly to him thanking him for his effort and time.
If my return to buy was based on customer service i would not br in yhat store agsin. I appreciate customer service when it is good.

“Often delivers later than promised. Customer service is weak. Store employees frequently run away. Stores tend to be messy compared to competition. I have a current order that is now 3 days later than promised and not received yet - will return for an Amazon order for better price and ONTIME delivery. . I gladly go to the competition if the price is within 10% of HD. BK”
“The delivery service provided by the company was extremely disappointing. They failed to communicate any issues and installed the range without testing it beforehand. I was pressured to sign a document quickly as they were in a rush to move on to their next job. Unfortunately, the stove does not work and none of the other appliances were installed either. The dispatcher for the third-party contractor was just as unhelpful as the delivery crew. This has been the worst experience and I strongly advise against purchasing appliances from Home Depot. It seems they have not properly vetted their contractors for installation jobs. In hindsight, I should have bought directly from the manufacturer. I will not purchase any other home items from the Home Depot. They will not get any more of my business. I am now without a stove and micrwave and highly regret using The Home Depot to purchase this appliance suite. Invest and purchase from the manufacturer.”

“I order lattice from Home Depot in south Setauket to be delivered today 6/6/24 . I sat here waiting for a call about my delivery.I was sent an e-mail at 2 in the afternoon that it was delayed. Now I have workers coming and I do not have my order. No one had the where with all to call a day ago. Now I have to pay the workers for work that is not going to be done.”
“We ordered 2 garage doors to be installed by their pro installers. The bottom panels of the doors are buckling and in turn the panels on top of that are buckling. Contacted home Depot immediately, after them informing us to take photos, more photos, us requesting that someone come out to view the doors, more photos. They have contacted the installer, we have to call the installer. And on and on. Tomorrow, a person from the installation company will be by to, guess what...TAKE PHOTOS!!! Two months and we are no further ahead than before. I will never go to home depot to have anything installed by their 'pro installers' ever again.”

“No issues with the store except that it's understaffed (they have "now hiring" sign out front), but good luck getting an appliance delivered. Don't know who does the actual delivery, but I was expecting delivery of a washer on Wednesday; at 8:17pm, Tuesday, I received a text stating the delivery had been postponed... it's going to be another nine(yes, 9) days.”
