I placed a simple order One item They told me my delivery date would be 8 days Seemed long but ok Well 8 days later no delivery and no tracking information on it Tried getting help from Home depot and zero help with finding out where my order was And they would not let me cancel the order I am done with Home depot their service is so so bad

I LOST A COMPLET DAY TRY TO BY ONLINE AND TRY TO SOLVE THERE ONLINE PROBLEM- CALL THE STORE CAN'T HELP ME TRY THE CHAT CAN'T HELP ME VERY VERY BAD SERVICE- I HOPE THEY READ THIS YOU ARE INCOMPETENT

Ordered freezer online with delivery date given as today. Never received text or call to get delivery window. Called at 3:00pm as status had disappeared online. Was told that it was supposed to be between 8:30am and 12:30pm , but delivery company VA Transport Co. had issues and we were next so it would be 4:30 pm. At 6:00pm we called again and told our window was till 7:30pm and they would call en route. No call, guy showed up at 7:10pm and freezer was on its side in truck. This is not acceptable. Fridges and freezers are to be transported upright. Guy says no, it’s fine. Arrows on box show to keep it upright. Totally dissatisfied with Home Depot delivery process.

Ordered a chainsaw. After they failed to deliver ontime I was given an escalation number and told to expect an email with resoltion within 48 hours. After going through the process 3 times the shipper finally called to say Home Depot didn't check restrictions in my area and the truck was not allowed on the hwy. They wanted to reschedule but I had already purchased a chainsaw in store myself. I made multiple tickets to get my refund back and always getting an escalation to be resolved in 48 hours that never get's resolved. Unable to get agents to tell me what the head office or corporate contact information is either. very sketchy. I had to call my bank to dispute the charge. Never buy again and recommend strongly against even considering purchasing from a fraudulent company such as Home Depot. Plus their customer service sucks. Agents are robots and unable to see when they are doing the same thing 10 times and that which they are doing is not effective at all.. They'll still vote to just do it an 11th time.

I place a farly large order for a backyard landscape refresh. All products ordered were in stock, per HD's website. Scheduled for a Friday delivery, as I had lined up some friends to help me on Saturday morning. No Friday delivery. Placed a hold on my help. It is now Saturday afternoon, and still no delivery. Customer service could not tell why it had not been delivered or where the order was. Everyone has other commitment on Sunday. A very nice day to work outside WASTED!!!

I went to Home Depo, in stoney creek area, as I need a detailed advice and help with measurements for various stones types needed for me backyard work, I was amazing by the level of personalized service and assistance offered by Home depot staff members. They understood my needs and calculated the amount of stones required for my job, I am greatful for your professional service and special thanks to young guy Jazz ( not sure about the full name) for helping me out. Thanks again

Horrible customer service with the initial rental, when I did return my rental item there was a line up apparently someone didn't show up I went searching for someone to jump in and help and I did find someone and he was more than happy to help with the line up. I do find it interesting that the initial associate did not call for assistance knowing he was short staffed.

I have been The Home Depot customer for a long time. Last December,2023, I purchased a laundry machine , and supposed to be delivered on the 30th of December, but the shipping company, didn’t call to confirm internet 2 hours before they wanted to deliver the machine. I was not home, and they supposed to arrange 24 hours prior. I told them I am not home and you should had call me to confirm the date and time. Since then, the shipping company has been delaying to ship the machine since then. Just recently I went to the store and explained to the store associate Veltza, she showed empathy and was surprised what was happening from the shipping company. She called the shipping company and they said that apparently they don’t have the unit. Anyways, Veltza, rearranged everything and called me the next day to confirm that the machine will be delivered on the 25th of January. Today is 22 January, the shipping company called me again and they said that it’s going to be delayed again. This nonsense should had never happened from The Home Depot, I have tossed the old laundry machine and we had to pay Laundry store to wash our clothes. Very very disappointed and unsatisfied

Several years ago I bought a fridge that was supposed to be delivered on the weekend but it took over a year to get it and I had to fight like hell to get it even then. Now I find out my neighbors across the street had a stove from Home Depot and they were supposed to deliver it and pick up the old one. I watched as Home Depot had someone show up with it after my neighbors had left the house. They never got a call and the stove was not left there. The old one was supposed to be taken away and doesn’t work. The new one has not been brought back and Home Depot has not been back with the new one or to take the old one as my neighbor paid. Home Depot is refusing to deliver it and are just making them call to 1-800 number. No service no honour and no honesty Home Depot. Don’t shop there!!!!

Home Depot customer support/service has always been terrible and just gets worse with time. 1. They don't answer the phone. 2. They have an auto attachment which forces you to speak. I don't want my voice saved on their data servers. I want to use my keypad. 3. They're website sucks and again forces you to accept cookies which again I don't care to use. Home Depot is all about taking your information and sharing it with others (including the government)! 4. In store, good luck finding staff to actually help you (if they have the knowledge to). If you do find one they typically send you to the other side of the store and hope not to see you again. 5. They don't have everything (understandably) but they are not well stocked on what they do carry.

OH SO BAD! The Home Depot customer service department Iftakhar,Nayaab provides no support or resolutions to problems just sends pages and pages of Home Depot policy on why he won't help you with your problem. I was in tears! Please use a different hardware store!

Its not the product, its the service. Home Depot sucks BIG time when it comes to service. Try calling the store, your call is typically NOT answered and if your call is answered, you are typically "disconnected" or placed on hold for long periods and often transferred to the wrong department... Dealing with Home Depot is usually a horrible experience. Not only this but their web site forces cookies on your computer, they force you to agree to their terms when placing a review, they force you to speak into their automated calling system (recording and saving your voice for data collection purposes) and they share ALL your data with the government. AVOID Home Depot as much as you can.

If I could give a lower score than 1 I would, bought washer dryer from Kanata store location, complete with delivery included but cannot get the services just set up lose time at work and the delivery company cancels with excuses. I cannot believe their customer service help line is no help and just does nothing to resolve the issue. So Sad so disappointed with this big box store

I ordered work gloves online and got the usual estimated 3-4 days for arrival. I text them on day 3 for a status update as there was NO movement. Was told it will be shipped on day 7. I called on day 6 and spoke to agent. She said there is no movement snd she will escalate the issue and i should here back from someone with 48 hours. Within 2 hours i received an email that it was cancelled. What a waste if time. Why have an online system and status tab when it doesnt work. They have no customer service whats so ever. I hope i get my money back. That will be another story

Ordered an item online. My credit card was charged ( not a hold)but the item was never sent to me. 5 days later, my card was again charged ( again, not a hold). The item was still not sent to me. I escalated this complaint ( took 3 hours to explain ) and also cancelled my order because I was afraid they would charge my card a third time when they actually shipped the item. Another 5 days later, they have charged my card again, even though I have an email from them confirming I cancelled the order. I am now out almost $500, have no item and they have a case open but don’t give me any updates or refunds. I had to cancel my bank card to stop them from charging me a fourth time.

Amazon is faster, better service, and doesn't cheat you like Home Depot. Friendly staff at our😩 location, but not much in stock at any location so they tell you to go to their website. Do not enter any personal information or sign up to the home depot website. The website is broken and gives random errors and different failed options every time. One time it said they could not deliver to my home. One time it said they could not deliver to the store. After trying to place an order they said my (good) credit card was bad. Then they tried to make a $0 charge on my card. They sent an email saying the order would be cancelled. I phoned and waited several hours in a hold queue, and asked to confirm the order was cancelled. The rude man hung up. The website recommends SMS chat, so I did that. I confirmed a third time by text that the order was cancelled. Suddenly today, I got email that they had shipped the cancelled order. Checking my bank, now they have tried to charge the full amount for the cancelled order. Long before they changed their mind and unilaterally tried to uncancell the order, I had already ordered from Amazon, had it delivered, and had it installed. Stay away from Home Depot. They act as if they are trying to desperately grab money without providing goods before they go bankrupt. Anybody need to join in a class action suit?

Bought washer and dryer from the home depot Bought washer and dryer from the website on may 27th, delivery for june 9th. Received an email saying the payment did not go trough. Call them. The person told me that this happen sometimes and that he needed to create a new order and then take payment by phone. No problem and delivery was to be on june 2nd. He repeted this multiple time. Took a long time but worked. Took a day off from work and no delivery!!!! Called customer line to be on-hold for littarilly for hours yesterday to give up and call the store who did really not seem to care and sent me back to the line where you get put on hold for hours! Trying now to get reimbursed and i have been waiting on line for an hour already. Never buying there again for sure. Costing me a day of work, no washer and dryer, at least I have the day of to spend on the phone to get reimbursed

Don't buy any renovation warranty products from home depot. Please see their reply below after 3 months asking several proofs.Ticket # 5226964 The Home Depot does not provide any warranty on products manufactured by a third party, this is common with most retailers. Had to find a tap handle for my Moen faucet. Guy working plumbing knew nothing about what type of handles HD stocks. Didn't want to suggest or check any other stores for stock. Sorry for making you do the job you get paid for, jerk! Fire this clown!!

Placed an online order, was to be delivered on a specific date, on that date the delivery company contacted me to set up delivery for the following week??? They said it arrived that day, when in fact according to tracking, it had arrived 2 days prior. Contacted home depot re this issue, could not get through to anyone, called for 2 days to different customer services numbers to no avail. One number hours before it was closed indicated that due to the holiday customer service was closed to allow employees to spend time with their families for the holiday, there is no holiday. Another kept saying due to the current situation all lines are full and they couldnt take any more calls, again what situation??? They have the worst customer service ever, I honestly dont think they care about their customers once an order is taken. This is not the first time either, previous online orders just dropped after they are payed for, takes 5 to 7 days to get money back on my credit card, but at least it gets there. Worst company ever. Unable to cancel order online, unable to get ahold of a live person to cancel order, unable to get through to delivery company to find out what is going on??????????????
