I left a review criticising Corona Test Centre's attempt to charge £129 for a Day 2 Return to UK Test. Corona Test Centre have responded to the review stating that the price is justified because it is a PCR, rather than antigen, test. To the best of my knowledge, persons fully vaccinated in the UK dont need to take a PCR test on their return to the UK, an atigen test will suffice. If this is indeed the case Corona Test Centre are charging fully vaccinated UK residents for an unnecessary process. Back to my original point - they attempt to mislead and screw people as much they can on the back of an epidemic. Low Life

Hi there, Day 2 tests are PCR tests, not antigens, and are required for Green, Amber and Red List countries even for fully vaccinated people. Please refer to https://www.gov.uk/guidance/red-amber-and-green-list-rules-for-entering-england - specifically "After you arrive in England you must take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2. This applies if you’re fully vaccinated under the UK vaccination programme" If you have recently returned to the UK and not taken a PCR Day 2 test we strongly advise you do so as a matter of urgency. Thanks.

Corona Test Centre - an illustration of how people jump in the back of covid to screw people. I booked a Fit to Fly test with these prople - £39. I then received an email from Edward at Corona Test Centre offering me a voucher to use to buy the Day 2 test to take on my return, to the UK. How nice! How thoughtful! How much were they charging for the Day 2 Test? £129 - yes, ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY NINE POUNDS. With the 20% "discount"NINETY NINE POUNDS. When I queried by phone the phenomenal £90 price difference between the two tesrs I was advised that there were slight "differences" between the test. Enough to justify charging £99 more? Or, with the "discount", £60 more? I dont think so. This is all about exploiting and screwing people for as much as they possibly can. Low life.

Hi David, Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. I'm sorry to hear of your experience, the difference between the tests you mentioned is that the £39 Fit to Fly test is an antigenic test that you take at home and required no laboratory to be involved. The Day 2 test, however, is a PCR test so therefore requires you to send your sample to our lab, the difference in price covers both the carriage of your sample to the lab and of course the lab processing itself (neither of which are needed for the antigenic test). We pride ourselves on the service we deliver and it's certainly not our intention to mislead people, we know travelling in the current climate can be stressful and we certainly don't wish to add to that. I will send you a quick email now to make this right and hope you will use us again in the future! Thanks.

Results did not arrive and I had to carry out another test that only took 15 mins and cost a lot less. When I contacted the test center they were not interested.

I have just purchased 4 home antigen fit to fly tests for my trip to Italy. However on completing the regional passenger locator form (not the country PLF) As there are two you must do. I was advised entry to Italy is by swab only not a spit test. Which these home ones are. I have contacted the centre to ask for a transfer of my tests and have been advised as I have received them. NO REFUND is available if I return them. How is this meeting your contractual obligation if the test is not fit for purpose and yet advertises on your website that it is?

Can you explain the cost of your test by breaking it down. Can you justify the price or are you just making as much profit from tests as you possibly can ?A per test in a private hospital in Dubai is £30

Hi Sheila, thanks for sharing your feedback. Our pricing does reflect the premium service we provide and our guarantee that your results will be delivered within the timeline you selected. While there are other providers who charge less for testing, we see a common theme where they do not deliver the results on time and have no support team available to speak to (our team is fully UK based and available 8am-10pm Monday to Saturday and 9am-10pm Sundays!) leaving their customers frustrated and out of pocket. We'd love to welcome you back to one of our clinics in the future to continue to showcase our premium service to you. Thanks again!

The website is a bit confusing, simply ing links would aid viewers choose between home vs in-person covid-19 testing. Also, if international commuters do not stay in London short than Day 8 test requirement there should be a refund for lack of Day 8 test taken. In addition, commuting test center breaks the self-quarentine . And there's no refund.

Contacted without consent after visiting website. Registered a data subject access request - no response so far. Highly concerned about the data processes of this organisation, especially with Sensitive Personal Data (helath information)

A bit of cheats when it comes to fine print about when they deliver results. They say “2 days” but in the fine print this can be a lot longer unless you pay more.

Cancelled 51 tests on the day of testing leaving our project untenable. We are now taking legal action. Very strongly recommend against engaging this supplier

They didn’t know what they were doing and caused serious pain. They should either train them properly or get professionals.

I haven't had a test yet but I think it's an absolute joke that the cost per person per holiday is like £320 so a family of 4 will end up having to spend over £1200 on these tests for a one week holiday.

Essentially hosted inside a pub, felt dirty, poorly run, i’ve been for 5 of these due to my work, this was the worst service and felt unsafe in there.

Hi Max, We're sorry that you didn't have a good experience with visiting our test centre, we try to make all of our locations feel as comfortable as possible while also lowering the risk of contamination with unnecessary surfaces so we understand that it may not feel as inviting as we'd like it to but we hope that your results have now put your mind to rest.
