“I think selling medication that expires in 30 days is a bad business model. Your logistics team may want to order less inventory because clearly your product is sitting on the shelves way too long. I spend a lot of money on my dog’s wellness and had an interest in your pet care box program. But, I don’t now after being transferred to three people (two were managers) who kept repeating the same thing - that it’s not expired. Technically, it’s not but its not common practice for pharmacies to sells meds that close to expiration. You know that and so do I. I don’t think your company is fully committed to ensuring customer satisfaction as your website states. This first experience will be my last. I’ve been a business owner for 28 years. Friendly advice - customer complaints can sometimes be subjective and maybe not hard facts (like a product that expires in a month). If you truly want to grow your business, learn to be understanding with your customer’s concerns (especially when it’s a medication for their animal that they love and care for!) and you’ll retain them for life. The cost you would have spent to send me a newer prescription would have paled in comparison to the thousands I would have spent with your company.”
“If I could I would rate them a zero. I ordered my dog's meds on September 12 I didn't receive them until September 23. I emailed Koala about not receiving her meds. They did write back and promised a $20 discount. No discount was ever applied. My dog relapsed from her Allergic Dermatitis causing yeast to form on her body. I will never order from them again! Go with Chewy meds are delivered within 2 days. Just to note their pharmacy is in Boston, MA I live in West Boylston, MA about 30 miles away from their Pharmacy.”
“I ourxhased a six month supply of Frontline, it was ineffective. I was placed on automatic refill. Recieved an email, end of day on a. Friday. I responded to cancel the order before it had been delivered, and you wouldn't. A waste of my money.”
“My vet ordered a tube of eye medicine for my dog, Summer, on Sept 6th and I called checking on it on Sept 11th and this eye medicine HAD NOT even left the Koala pharmacy; almost a week later! So, I'm very, very disappointed, to say the least! I've been expecting a call back from a manager at Koala today, but that DID NOT happen!”
“I did not know that I signed up for auto order. I did not need the product, but I received a e-mail stating
that an order was going to be shipped. I received this message on SUNDAY, of course your Company is closed, so I could not cancel the order. By Monday when I called, the service agent said it had shipped.
I did not receive the product until Saturday.”
“Won’t let me return an unopened box. I understand not taking back meds, but the box is unopened, so I don’t see why I can’t send it back for almost $130.”
“There was no option to delete my credit card on file for autoship deliveries. I called and ask for the autoship to stop. I back spaced over the credit card number on the account. The numbers gone and xxxxx in the place of the numbers. After I saved that change I still was billed and the auto ship went out. I wish there was a way to delete my account or delete my credit card to stop shipment is even difficult.”
“I created a new account accidentally for an order & was contacted that I had to stay with my old email. I said this was fine but when they shipped the medicine they sent it to the wrong address (old account address, not the new account address). My dog’s medicine was delivered to CT & I am in FL.”
“Getting the order was a hassle and took longer than it should of. I should have received a phone call right away when they had a question. And it was about changing the number of pills ordered. No, I'd like it how it was ordered. Received an email days later. Ended up having to drive 2 hours to vet to get meds to cover. I've never had an experience like this with any other pet pharmacy. I already spoke with someone there and she took no responsibility.”
