“This is the worst place to order anything from, they’re not professional at all. I place an order and it showed it was it stock, as well as showing that it would be shipped in 2-3 business days. It’s been 3 weeks and I have gotten any update, confirmation codes or tracking number. It’s been in preparing shipment for the past three weeks. Please please do not order anything from them.

“Please note that this review is based on my personal experience. Others may have had different experiences, so take this as just one individual's opinion.
First of all, this site seems not not actually have the items in stock. It seems they try to source the products after an order is placed, and this process appears to be inconsistent. From my experience, shipping takes at least two weeks after purchase—even that is considered fast. For the high-end whiskies I usually purchased (mostly in the $800–900 range, occasionally over $200), it often took more than four weeks to receive the items.
Another major issue is the complete lack of transparency after the purchase. Emails go unanswered, and they never pick up the phone. I was only able to get in touch with someone related to the site via text through the number (619) 757-7571. However, this person never disclosed their name or role, yet occasionally sent me “good offers” for high-end whiskies and negotiated prices—all only via text. Calls were never answered, and texts often went ignored for days, then suddenly I'd receive a response out of the blue. There was no consistency or transparency in the process.
They frequently say things like “it’ll ship tomorrow” or “it’ll go out Friday,” but not once did they meet those timelines. Their messages constantly changed, and the status updates rarely matched reality. In one case, they even generated a tracking number, but the actual shipment didn’t go out until 2–3 weeks later.
Packaging is also highly unprofessional. They use leftover scrap paper or what looks like recycled trash as cushioning material. Thankfully, the whisky arrived intact, but still—it was far from professional.
In some cases, the item delivered wasn't even what I ordered. That led to additional hassle with refunds and back-and-forth disputes.
In conclusion: this is not a scam site in the sense that they never deliver, but it was one of the worst post-purchase experiences I’ve had. The process is unclear, the timeline unpredictable, and the customer service practically nonexistent. No matter how low their prices are, I personally will never order from them again. There are plenty of other sellers that may charge a bit more, but offer far better service and reliability.
If you're someone who cares only about low prices and doesn't mind waiting an uncertain amount of time with minimal communication, then this site might suit you. But if you expect transparency, responsive support, and to receive your item within two weeks, I would not recommend here.”
“I ordered a hard-to-find tequila which they claimed to have 34 bottles of. Fortunately I used PayPal and was able to get my money back since I never received my order, just the run around. Buyer beware!”
“Run away, terrible company. Order Doc Holliday display set. Case showed up broken, packaging was fine so the case was broken when packed. Missing components of order as well. Value of this bottle is the display, haven't received any responses from multiple attempts to contact.”

Immediate charge to CC via Apple Pay and email confirmation. I didn’t worry about it over New Years, but received an unsolicited text stating order ‘shipping Monday’ 2 wks ago. Asked for tracking # via same text and was told stock was Not in, but back ordered but would ship last Wednesday. Again, asked for tracking # on following Friday and was told delayed but would absolutely ship Thursday ‘today’ and tracking # would be sent via email by 6pm.
There is no email, nor response after almost 4wks from order date, I’m getting nothing more than a run around. This company is not legit and has lied to me several times concerning shipping date. I don’t believe they ever had the stock nor ever planned on shipping. Just scam who they can.
The person who contacted me said his name was John from Liquor Stars. Be aware and don’t order from them. I think they try to string you along until you either forget or cannot reverse charges.”
“This place is horrible to order from. We have been trying to call without any response and also sent emails with no response in reference to our christmas order. We ordered two items and paid additional to have the delivered within four days. It took over four weeks to get one item and we haven't received our second item as of today. My credit card has been billed for the items. Would never use this company again.”

We never received it or heard back from them. The last time we asked, we told them we were trying to handle this cordially. “I would strongly caution anyone against doing business with Liquor Stars. My experience with order #23902 has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. After placing my order over a week ago, I was repeatedly promised shipping updates that never materialized. Every time I followed up, I was met with vague assurances and outright falsehoods about when my order would ship.
Finally, after much frustration, my order was canceled without so much as a proper explanation or an attempt to make things right. The dismissive tone in their communication—'We already canceled your order. Have a good day.'—is beyond unprofessional and frankly insulting. I’m left wondering if this is even a legitimate business or just a scam operation preying on customers.
This level of disrespect and disregard for paying customers is unacceptable. Buyer beware—this company is the epitome of bad service, and I would never trust them with my business again.”
“I wish there was a way to give 0 stars. I ordered 3 different bottles of bourbon before Thanksgiving. They were supposed to be Christmas gifts. 2 bottles arrived on Christmas Eve. The 3rd bottles is yet to arrive. They don't answer their phone or respond to texts or emails. I think I may have to get an attorney involved if they don't deliver my missing bourbon soon. “I ordered 3 bottles of Eagle Rare on December 10 thinking that I would receive them before the holidays since you claim to ship the week you receive the order. I received them on Dec 28 after all holidays had passed. When December 23rd arrived, and no Eagle Rare had arrived, I went shopping for alternative gifts. I communicated the whole time with a person by the name of Noel. I asked him to stop the order but he did not. It showed up on December 28th. I then sent Noel an email asking him how I should go about making a return. You guessed it - no answer. I’m angry, frustrated, and disappointed.”
