“Have made 2 purchases at Mark's Appliance! The first was no problem. The 2nd was going good till we went to pay the balance and get the appliance we had in lay a way ! A mix up on the balance due. The matter was resolved after some review of the payments made ! Overall a good experience and would like to make another purchase on the future!”
“Will not use them again. We had a washing machine that was making strange noises. A repairman from Mark's Appliance came to our house and declared the washing machine beyond repair. The service charge of $125 for an half hour work, was high but at least we would recover half that amount if we purchased a new washing machine from Mark's Appliance.
We went to Mark's Appliance and selected a new washer and dryer. The display had a sign advertising a $150 rebate when purchasing our selected set. We placed the order for the equipment and waited six weeks for it to arrive. Upon the installation completion I inquired about the promised 50% reduction of the service charge as well as the advertised rebate. Our salesman had no idea what I was talking about on either the service charge refund or the rebate. He claimed he normally provides the rebate paperwork at the time of sale, but we received no such documentation. We wanted to use Edwardsville based companies for our appliances, but that will not happen again at Mark's Appliance.”
“I had an unusual request in December. My kitchen refrigerator quit working while I was away, and I needed a replacement. I don't need the replacement until May, but I did need the unworkable refrigerator removed in the meantime. Mark's Appliance accomodated my requests, removed the old refrigerator, and will deliver my new refrigerator when I need it.”
“I had them come out and measure where the dishwasher would go, the two that came out were rude af and then after they were done they said someone would call to give me an estimate, I never heard back. I didn't call because of how rude they were.”
“We resolved to buy our new range at Mark's Appliance last year because we wanted to shop local. Our range was delivered on on time, but with a large dent on the side. The delivery men told me to contact the shop and that they would order a replacement. We did so, then we didn't hear anything back for a couple of months. I reached out again and never received a response. I still have a big dent on the side panel of our range which has not been resolved.
I understand that things fall through the crack when it comes to a local business but I had to say that I am disappointed that this has not been resolved. I would recommend Mark's Appliance to others, but would caution them about our difficulty. The reality is that if I had gone with a big box store this probably would have been resolved by now.”
“I ordered 4 new appliances early last year for a kitchen update. MARK'S worked with me to pick out what I wanted and got them ordered and delivered in a timely manner and I got a pretty reasonable price on the bundle. I would definitely recommend them.”
