I can't recommend MyBodyTutor enough! I first joined MyBodyTutor in 2021 and was amazed at how quickly and effectively I was able to lose weight and get healthy. A few years (and a baby) later, I found myself wanting to shed the extra weight again—and of course, MyBodyTutor worked like a charm. What sets MyBodyTutor apart is the daily coaching. I genuinely look forward to my coach’s responses every day. The personalized accountability, encouragement, and guidance keep me motivated and on track. I am so grateful to MyBodyTutor, because they helped me learn healthy habits and let me see that my metabolism wasn't "broken". Working with My Body Tutor has been a game-changer. Throughout this journey, I’ve learned so much—not just about nutrition and fitness, but about sustainable habits that truly work. My body has never felt better. We now eat incredibly clean, farm-to-plate meals, and stay consistent with home workouts. My weight used to fluctuate between 172–176 lbs, but now I comfortably sit around 161–163 lbs with more goals in place. The guidance and accountability have made all the difference, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

I knew I wasn’t eating well but downplayed how much it mattered. I didn’t feel great in my own skin but kept putting off making a change—no idea what I was waiting for. My motivation to exercise was low because, in the past, working out never got me the results I wanted: a leaner body, strength, and an overall sense of well-being. I’ve joined gyms before and always started strong, but my motivation faded over time. I never really focused on nutrition, so I was constantly frustrated with my results. I thought I could out-exercise a bad diet—turns out, I couldn’t have been more wrong. I follow Adam Wathan on X for his tech content, and one day he posted about MyBodyTutor—sharing his progress photos, thoughts on the program, and even some weight charts. I was immediately intrigued. I wanted to build real self-discipline and a sustainable routine. I wasn’t looking for a short-term program that I’d eventually fall off of—I wanted to change my habits for good. But I hesitated over the cost and kept telling myself, “You don’t need a coach; you can do this on your own.” It took me almost a year from the moment I first looked into MyBodyTutor to actually signing up. Looking back, I wish I had started right away. It’s absolutely worth it. If you’re on the fence, just do it. Their approach is practical and designed for real life—navigating family events, holidays, stressful periods, and all the curveballs that usually derail progress. Life has speed bumps, and MyBodyTutor teaches you how to build habits that don’t fall apart when you hit them. Just go for it. The only regret you’ll have is not starting sooner. Keep an open mind and be willing to challenge old habits and assumptions. This isn’t a crash diet or a quick fix—it’s about building sustainable habits that lead to long-term success. The results may seem small week to week, but over time, they add up to something incredible.

The standout difference that separates MyBodyTutor from the dozens of other things I’d tried and failed at is the level of support it offers. This is the first and only approach I’ve encountered that tackles the psychology of why we feel unable to stop using food to hurt ourselves. Most programs just focus on what to eat, what not to eat, and how much. Laurie, my MBT coach, understood me and “read me like a book”. She offered me an unprecedented amount of support and genuine concern. MBT is well-worth the money. I suffered from compulsive overeating from earliest childhood. I became a "yo-yo" dieter with repeated lose and gain cycles, each cycle was more severe and violent. In the end I was bulimic. My eating disorder governed my life and every breath of air I took. To eat or not eat, what, when, where to eat internal chatter dominated my thoughts. My binges were accompanied by instant gratification, remorse, shame. I hated myself and the way I looked. I was stuck in vicious, ever more violent cycles I felt no control over. I'm 72 now. In my mid-30's I figured out how to tamp my eating disorder down and gradually phase out of binging and purging. But inside, I still had the eating disorder chatter and compulsions. When I found MBT I was already eating a whole food, plant-based, low caloric density diet and was at a good height and weight: 5'5" and 120 lbs. Along with the compulsions, I still had body dysmorphia, I was still dissatisfied with how I looked. What brought me to MBT was my continued binging on low caloric density foods to the point where I was uncomfortable and disgusted with myself. I didn't understand how I could feel empowered and successful in every other realm of my life but still not able to control how much I ate. Laurie helped me see I had lingering "baggage" and shame I was unaware of. Almost 2 years after beginning my MBT relationship, I finally feel confidence and control over what I eat. I am still a work in progress. I do sometimes overeat, but more thoughtfully and to a lesser extent. I now forgive myself and shut down the shame cycle before it starts. I was committed and highly motivated to gain control over my eating compulsions, sustainably, for good. I was very compliant with MBT's requirements and being honest and accountable to Laurie. I also often used the MBT app for processing, journaling and sharing my "hang ups", successes, failures. I am super -grateful to MBT and Laurie. She’s been a wonderful friend. Knowing Laurie was there to guide and support me if and when I stumbled, along with her insight, wisdom and genuine concern has made a huge difference in my life. She knows how grateful I am.

I've been doing MyBodyTutor for one month. It has been the healthiest month of my life! I have eaten incredibly well, I have exercised consistently, I have hydrated well, I have gotten consistent sleep, and still managed to do all of my normal daily responsibilities. Having a daily check-in with a personal coach that is encouraging me has made all the difference! I love getting feedback from my coach everyday. It's like getting a package in the mail! I am always excited to hear from her. It keeps me going every single day. I am so grateful I found MyBodyTutor.

First, a little something about me. I am a mom to three boys. My husband and I are both physicians and I practice in the pediatric emergency department. I also teach medical students and do research. My schedule is all over the place and finding routines is difficult. I am not someone who likes to ask for help, and I struggle with anxiety from time to time. This is to say that finding a weight loss program that works has not been easy. Since gaining 16 pounds in two years in my late forties, I have tried several approaches to weight loss, including WW with and without accountability partners, tracking on MyFitnessPal, and extreme exercise programs. None of them worked for me. When a good friend told me she was signing up for MyBodyTutor, I admired her dedication but never thought I would commit that amount of resources to a weight loss program. However, after she lost 10 pounds in three months, I changed my mind and signed up. And I will forever be happy I did. I'll tell you why it worked for me...it never felt like I was trying to lose weight. I didn't become obsessed with calories, or food tracking, or working out. I didn't look at food as points or the enemy. When I didn't see the scale move for weeks, I didn't tell myself I'd never lose weight. I never doubted that I would get to my goal. Between my incredible coach, Kristin, and Adam's daily, accessible, and practical bits of wisdom (which I still hear in my head all the time), I slowly started to believe that I would be successful. And then I was. Now I shop for food differently, I read labels differently, I talk to myself differently. I have a newfound sense of control over my health, even amidst the chaos that life brings daily. If you are wondering if MyBodyTutor is right for you, I urge you to give it a try. It has changed my life.

MyBodyTutor has been an absolute game changer! I have tried every diet and workout under the sun. More information was not what I needed. MyBodyTutor provided me with the accountability necessary to create the habits and confidence to live these habits on my own. I am confident in my ability now to make choices that align with my goals. I feel healthier than I've felt in a decade, wearing clothes I haven't fit in since high school. I'm so grateful I made the investment in myself!

Adam and the whole team at MyBodyTutor have been fantastic since I first engaged with them. Adam introduce me to their methodology and helped to reassure me this was a service I would benefit from. After joining, my coach has helped me reflect on and see the opportunities in my day to day habits that make all the difference. I'm making small changes (additions and subtractions) each day to build my healthy life in a sustainable and meaningful way. This has helped me break through a plateau I've been stuck on for a year. The accountability and feedback ensure that someone other than my refrigerator is keeping up with what I'm doing each day. I know I'm on the journey for a healthy rest of my life. It's never about perfection, but finding the opportunities every day in fitness, food, and mental strategies to move forward.

Before joining MyBodyTutor I was unsure if it was possible for me to achieve sustainable weight loss. While I certainly don't take this for granted now, I am much more optimistic about achieving a significant weight loss and maintaining the weight. Also, while I have run half marathons many times before, doing it again has seemed quite far away the last couple of years. Now I believe it can be done. Thank you to MyBodyTutor!

Permanently altering your relationship with food and cultivating an understanding of the “why” and “how” weight loss occurs is THE only way to sustainably lose weight. Before MyBodyTutor, I ate one meal a day for three years and lost 50 pounds, but I didn’t have a sustainable path forward to eat regularly throughout the day and gain muscle. Now I have both. Also, I felt like I'd lose control of my eating if I got off of one meal a day. Once I knew I could do that, I wasn't sure what I should or shouldn't eat and didn’t have a plan. I found out about MyBodyTutor through Sam Parr, and I joined hoping to gain muscle and lose fat. I was a bit hesitant because I had to be sure I would follow through on the advice from my body tutor before signing up, but I’m so glad I did. Since joining, I’ve burned 10 lbs of fat and gained 5 lbs of muscle. More importantly, I have a sustainable path and feel super confident in my body moving forward. What's great about MyBodyTutor is it felt super personal to my goals and needs. So if you're thinking about joining, just jump in and trust the process! I’ve referred several friends and my mom, and they’re all loving it too.

I highly recommend MyBodyTutor. I love that someone is in my corner and cares about my progress. Having an expert sounding board for insights and challenges has made all the difference. My coach Chauncey has earned my trust and I’m enjoying the process. I also really like the emails, inspirations, and motivational quotes every time I submit my report.

Before I started working with MyBodyTutor, I struggled with binge eating, and my blood work wasn’t good. I was borderline diabetic, my cholesterol was high enough to be close to needing medication, and my liver was throwing off enzymes. I always felt restricted when I tried to get fit in the past, and I worried that I’d just be spending money on another program that didn’t work. But I hoped MyBodyTutor could help me get back to my pre-COVID weight and improve my health. My family has a history of heart disease, and I wanted to lower my risk. Now, I’ve lost about 25 pounds, and my blood work is perfectly normal. My doctor told me my weight is perfect. I no longer worry about gaining weight or being unhealthy, and I’ve established a regular exercise routine that has reduced the pain I used to be in. What makes MyBodyTutor different is the individual coaching—it’s very personalized. It’s not a program that simply tells you what’s good and bad. They support you through guidelines that helped me stay aware of my emotions and how they connected to my eating habits. Having a supportive coach makes a huge difference in losing weight and making real lifestyle changes. This isn’t your typical coaching plan.

I decided to join MyBodytutor after finding myself at a loss with my weight creeping up and none of my efforts successful. Like many, I have a long history of dieting. I have tried all sorts of diets either too extreme, too expensive, or too restrictive. I have sometimes lost weight but regained it quickly after getting back to my eating habits. What I found with MyBodytutor was different: it was about changing habits for the long term. I had a coach talking to me every week, listening to my struggles, and “coaching” me into finding solutions. It is not a one size fits all diet. The daily accountability and feedback have probably been the most useful to me. Through 1:1 calls with my coach Cheryl, I was also able to make key adjustments: I changed my breakfast habits, considerably improved my lunches, and learned tips on how to navigate travel and restaurant eating. I lost 14 pounds in about 6 months thanks to these adjustments. It has felt manageable and reasonable all along which I find amazing. I have hit plateaus: Cheryl helped me make more small adjustments (I have never had issues with being consistent riding my bike several times a week, but I added strength training that I actually enjoy and worked on walking more - both made a difference). Finally, a big part of our discussions were focused on stress management and sleep: it is really a holistic program and I found that my coach was kind, non-judging, yet truly motivating.

I really appreciate the BodyTutor program. It has helped to lose weight and develop healthy habits which leads to a lifelong healthy lifestyle. I appreciate Adam's passion and the hard work he put into creating the MyBodyTutor coaching program. The daily accountability and feedback has been invaluable as a tool for building that consistency and confidence that I needed to be successful. I have rightsized the portions that I eat at every meal and improved my eating choices. I have increased my vegetable consumption as well. I started the program doing little to no exercise to now doing 15 minutes of strength training 3 times a week and 2 days of cardio or other activities. I am thankful to Adam and his team for the help I received.

I love the MyBodyTutor program and highly recommend it if you're looking for real, holistic change to your health and well-being. Over the past 12 weeks since I started with my tutor Amy, I've lost 12 pounds, but more importantly, my relationship with food has completely changed. I used to feel like food controlled me because I used it to deal with stress, in addition to other feelings. I now feel a sense of freedom that I haven't felt before. MyBodyTutor is not is a diet, and it's not a quick fix. What it is, is support and accountability to make long-term, sustainable change. You have to put in the work and do some introspection and make some hard changes, but you do so with the full support of your tutor (coach), and that's exactly why it works.
